There are SO many upscale, high-end shops, quality restaurants, and things to see and take pictures of. It is also connected to the Hong Kong Botanical Garden, which was a very nice visit as well :) During last December 2025, Pacific Place had a mall promotion- the more you spend, the more you save! You also get gifts when you spend and reach a certain amount tier. Definitely attracted a lot of customers to shop and spend. The mall also set up a special donation booth for donating to the devastating fire that broke out in Tai Po in November 2025. In return, you will get a cute Christmas decor (blind box). The staff at the booth was very patient and helpful. The Great Food Hall in the basement is also a must-visit supermarket for foreign snacks and delicious eats!

Harbour City is a shopping complex right beside the pier overlooking Victoria Harbour and with that offers a stunning view especially in the night when the city lights come alive. Along with the customer service and a map of the mall it's pretty massive enough that we got last and couldn't find the restaurant that we intended to try though browsing around majority of the shops are high end. There's quite a bit of selections available here regardless as I enjoyed looking at a health and wellness shop and some heath and beauty items as well. A great place to eat, browse and relax or just enjoy the view Harbour City is a beautiful modern complex that offers it all. Thank you!

Every year this place transforms into a total Christmas wonderland, but this year they went ALL OUT…read morewith the collab with Statue Square, honestly one of the prettiest holiday displays I've ever seen in Hong Kong. There's a massive, gorgeous Christmas house setup that's perfect for photos, twinkling lights everywhere, giant ornaments, the works. It's giving luxury winter fairy tale vibes and I'm obsessed. Of course the shopping is next-level too--Chanel, LV, Dior, Hermès, all the big names under one roof (or connected roofs lol). Feels extra fancy strolling around with the holiday decor everywhere. Super easy to get to: just take the MTR and hop off at Central Station Exit E and you're basically right there. If you're in HK during the holidays, you HAVE to come see this. The inside of the mall looks absolutely stunning, all slick and clean, modern design integrated across all the floors. We explored the mall over half an hour, floor by floor. Since we were not looking to purchase anything expensive, we were just enjoying the walk and view of the mall. Few stores we went in, staff were very friendly and willing to assist with any question.

With jet lag and solo parenting, caffeine is undeniably a top priority and I had the pleasure of trying the tiramisu latte from Blooms Coffee. It definitely gave me a strong kickstart and without too much sugar. And then we took off to exploring the different floors - being amazed with the Zootopia 2 decorations and display, visiting the Lego Store, finding souvenirs to buy at City Super, and making a Christmas wish list at the Lane Crawford store. We easily spent three hours in this mall. It's spacious and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would definitely revisit the next time we are in town!

They have mostly long sleeves and hoodies/sweaters at this time of the year. The service was very nice. The front counter. Let me try on everything before I purchased. They have exquisite jewelry as well as clothing and other miscellaneous items. Sunglasses were plentiful and they also had the latest releases. To my surprise; they also had a selection of short sweatpants, and other accessories like slippers. The store cannot be missed once you're in the surrounding area. They have TV screens on the side of the building, which is really cool to see. And once you go up the stairs into the mall, you will notice the chrome hearts entrance with the luxurious wood paneling, juxtaposed against the chrome traditional logos . My expectations were surpassed! Luxurious and comfortable. Eloquent with bite of edgy. Or dare I say more ? They did not have any pendants when we came in, but they did have several rings and other necklaces. To my surprise they also had hats available!

The IFC (International Finance Centre) mall is yet another impressive, spacious, and modern mall…read moreand it is located in the Central district of Hong Kong Island.  We were doing a bit of mall touring around the Hong Kong area, and for comparison this mall has some distinctive features.  One is that it is located in a wealthy business district, and you will see wealthy patrons here - independently wealthy and beautiful and well dressed people, ex-pats, and wealthy foreign tourists.  The people watching is pretty fun for sure here!  The mall has a lot of high end luxury shops to meet their needs.  The other nice feature is there are great views across the harbor of the Kowloon peninsula as the mall is itself located pretty much on the harbor.  Finally, it is located right by Central Pier, one of the terminals for the iconic Star harbor ferry which shuttles back and forth frequently between Hong Kong Island and Kowloon and so that tourist attraction is just a short walk away.   Also, naturally as with most of Hong Kong's major malls, the Hong Kong MTR station connects to this mall, but it is a massive station and there is a long walk involved.  Overall, as malls go, this one is a particularly nice one for a tourist to trek through.

Though I definitely spent more than I would have for souvenirs at the Ladies Market, it was worth it not to feel stressed out having to haggle on the streets of Mong Kok. Plus, I walked out with better quality stuff, supported a local business, and got to check out the current art exhibit ("LONG TIME NO SEE": a set of hand-drawn murals paying homage to the history of the PMQ building).

This is definitely not your average mall where it's the same brands and shops like at every other mall. It's too bad that the rooftop garden was under renovation when I went. It would've been nice to sit outside. I liked the exhibit that showed an example of what a home of a police family would've looked like. The video playing in the unit depicted happy tenants that loved living there and got on well with their neighbours. There was also a mahjong exhibit that was quite enjoyable and informative. So if you are a committed outlet shopper, this is really the only spot I have found to find…read moreauthentic high end brands at any discount in Hong Kong. I came out this way a few years ago, a few weeks ago and now just yesterday (in pursuit of after X-mas sales). Horizon Plaza (where the all the main shopping is) is one 30 story building. It is kind of located on the tip of Ap Lei Chau and feels like a barron spot, full of warehouses. Each floor has different stores. There are many floors and stores that are entirely dedicated to furniture and home decor. I concentrate on clothing, shoes, bags, accessories, which then eliminates many floors. I now really seek out the brands and stores I personally love and skip all the rest. If you go, here are a few tips that I wish I knew when I first went: 1) Take the elevator up to the top floor and work your way down. The elevators (they are relatively small, they are always packed and can be slow) are a great way to get to the top, start there and work you way down...by the stairs. Take the elevators if you must, but it is a juggernaut that is going to slow you down. 2) There are two stairwells. One stairwell has men's and then ladies restrooms on every other floor right there on the landing of the stairwell. The other stairwell has a handicap restroom on every floor. 3) It helps if you know your brands and their pricing. It helps to know what kind of deal you are getting and the stuff that is not such a great deal. For example, there is a Lane Crawford Outlet that occupies the entire 25th floor. The $30,000HKD Channel coat at Lane Crawford outlet is then marked down to $12,000HKD. So again, know your brands and their pricing. This might seem like a deal to many, but others might not ever imagine spending that much for a coat, regardless of who made it. So I repeat, you simply have to understand the vast array of brands sold in Horizon Plaza and look for those you know and like. 4) There are several stores that sell multiple brands under one roof. For example, the Imaginex Outlet is one store that sells BCBGMaxazria, Donna Karen, Tumi, and others in the same store. So if you are looking for one brand that does not have their own self standing store in Horizon Plaza, that does not necessarily mean the brand is not sold at Horizon Plaza. Another example, I personally love and wear Vivienne Westwood. There is not a Vivienne Westwood self standing store, but rather her stuff is sold at the Moda Mia Outlet store on floor 27. 5) There are limited options for food and drink. So go having had a meal or a good breakfast. You have to wander down the street to Harbour Industrial Center for something to eat if you are famished. Although it totally looks like a residential building and a warehouse in many ways, there are two cafes inside. One is Artichoke Canteen and can be found on Yelp (3rd Floor). 6) The PRADA outlet is not in Horizon Plaza and not walkable. You would have to hop in a cab to Marina Square maybe 7 minutes away, but still on Ap Lei Chau. 7) I think this trip after Christmas, I saw the biggest discounts. All Vivienne Westwood clothes, shoes and bags at Moda Mia were 90% off. I think this is a holiday thing though, for standard at most outlets is more like 30-50% off regular retail prices during a normal visit not associated with a holiday. 8) We take a cab out here from the Sheung Wan area where we live. The cab costs about $100HKD and is the easiest way to get there. I takes maybe 15 minutes. There is extensive construction on Ap Lei Chau buidling their MTR stop, but that is some time out before that opens (maybe late 2016, or 2017). There is also a shuttle bus option, but I have not taken that, so I cannot speak to it. There is also a big parking garage.
