In the set, we chose the tonkatsu ramen, hot stone pot beef rice, and the beef hot pot. The ramen I would 100% stay AWAY from. It had to have been the worst ramen I have ever tasted, I'm pretty sure the broth was colored boiled water. The hot stone pot rice was pretty similar, it smelled great but the taste was lacking. I didn't get to try the hot pot since I got stuck eating the rest of the ramen (T_T) but it didn't look half bad. I will say the drinks were pretty good, I got the lime yuzu soda which was super sweet but good and my mom got the plum wine soda which she liked too. There was barely a wait for our party on a Friday night (which actually should have told me something in retrospect). Service was a little slow, but I also didn't expect much. I will mentioned that I've had this place before and I didn't remember it being this bad so not every location may be like this!

The service was ok and the food in general was fine. The sashimi could have been fresher. There are set dinners for you to choose from and there's quite a range as well. If you're planning to go as a big group, you may want to reserve the place in advance as it's quite small. The ambience and the decoration were quite good. It's the only Japanese restaurant in Saikung. ;) Price is affordable and we paid about $730 for 3 ppl.

Went here for dinner on Double Ninth Day, located in Tai Po within walking distance to Tai Wo Station. The place isn't big, in fact I found the aisles to be quite narrow. I'd also say that service was average, though they definitely looked understaffed. I tried the fatty tuna with green onion hand roll, chefs special assorted sashimi, and sukiyaki. The hand roll and sukiyaki were both good. The assorted sashimi had some hits and misses, particularly the fatty tuna sashimi had too much toughness to it, instead of the expected melt in your mouth taste. Prices were reasonable. Overall a good neighbourhood Japanese restaurant.
