All this is at extremely reasonable prices (Consider the nearby malls will charge you probably double for exactly the same items). Selection is fairly complete although Park 'N Shop has many more items available (and is a lot larger) and some special medicinal items aren't carried here (but you can find those at Watson's). Those used to shopping in North American convenience stores like 7-11 or Circle-K will definitely appreciate the low prices and good selection available at Wellcome.

These stores are 24 hour convinent stores which are perfect for us when we would always load up on the H2O or the Vitamin J. In the store, they designed it in a way where they would put as much fresh products as they can, but going through the narrow aisles can be quite a challenge. Thankfully, there is a security guard who also helps out for the store in case where we would wonder where the bottled mineral water was. We also had to load up on the instant noodles and other provisions in case one of us was hungry I wish places in Canada had a store like this because for some reason, having an emergency convinent store like this can help in case something happens to someone.

This would be the place to go if you are an ex-pat looking for foods from home, particularly from the US and Europe. This location is on the second floor of New Town Plaza Phase 1. Being from the US, this store does not quite appeal as much to me, but just checked it due to curiousity. The prices on the US goods were understandably high. But they do carry some interesting items. Particularly those from Europe that make me want to grab them here since I wouldn't be able to find them back in the US. There are also a few food stands here selling some interesting fare. There is a stand selling matcha desserts for instance. While perusing I came across a fridge full of freshly squeezed juices that I thought was cool. Grabbed a bottle of guava and passion fruit juice for HK$24. Not the cheapest place, but the bottle design was interesting and I needed some refreshment. If you get it, be sure to drink it quickly as fresh juices don't last for long. If you happen to be at New Town Plaza, city'super is worth perusing through. Interesting products found here, albeit at higher prices than elsewhere.

I walked out of here with a nice bottle of vintage Bordeaux, cured meats and toy's for the kids. One stop shop and the service here is impeccable, I had an issue with waiting in line with my grocery and did not have enough hands to push my kid's stroller thru the line with me, I had asked if someone can help me and one of the grocery helpers told me that they can stand next to the stroller with my kids while I finish paying and check out.

759 is amazing. It is your one stop shop for all things Japanese, like instant noodles, candy,…read morecrackers, even things like detergents and bleach! The prices are quite inexpensive - forget about Citysuper or the Sogo supermarket if you're looking for those Japanese biscuits - come to 759 and you'll find that not only are they MUCH cheaper, you'll be able to choose from a larger variety too! 759 started off in HK a couple years ago - I remember the first one I ever went to was at the Tsuen Kwan O MTR station. The shop was small, but packed with Japanese goodies. Over the years more and more 759s have popped up all over HK. The one I go to most often now is the one at Sha Tin's Citylink plaza, and it's also the largest 759 I've ever been to - it's practically a supermarket! It's so big they provide you with trolleys for you to load all your buys. There's even a cosmetics/beauty section selling things like shampoo and hand soap. I found that besides Japanese products, they actually sell quite a few American and UK imports as well like chips and milk! And as if 759 isn't affordable enough, they have a wonderful membership scheme that makes prices even lower for you! You will see that most food items have two prices - a normal price and a 'member price'. The member price is about a dollar or two lower than the normal price, depending on how high or low that is. Household items like shampoo don't have member prices but there's an overall 10% off on them. They also have monthly specials too! Becoming a member is super easy - you just have to spend more than $300 at one go. I'm actually really glad that 759 exists in HK and if you haven't been there, then what are you waiting for?

With the Korean charm in full swing right now, many are coming to taste Korean imports in the form of noodles, sweets and even Korean beers (only if the fried chicken came with it...). Korean products aside, you will also find the more practical everyday items such as rice, soy sauce and even baby wipes. Now many may question why can't you just go to the Fusion store right beside it- the answer is that most of the items in 759 aren't available elsewhere. Those who are 759 fans would know that they are seasonal specials and every time there seems to be new items which are being promoted in the store. The only complaint that I would have with this particular shop would be that the goods in this store are placed so closely together that there seems be no room to move; but I guess that could be said about all 759 stores in general. This store itself is also a welcoming addition in what is otherwise a really bland mall- that is another story for another comment!

It just looks more clean and neat and products are about the same price as those from Parknshop. I was looking for baby products in particular because I traveled with my child but wanted to pack light at the same time. And they had everything I wanted! I also love that they have lots of cut up fruits to choose from, which is convenient for tourists. The website said they open at 9am but they were already opened when I walked past at 8am. And they have applepay, which is not too common in HK. They are located in the basement level of Isquare and is only 1 level above the mtr station.

They even have ready to eat hot and cold foods. Having only been to the Hawaiian locations in thr US, this was the first Donki I have visited in Asia. While the items inside are aplenty, the space absolutely not. This location is kind of hidden and there are stairs to go down into the store or else you'll need do wait for an elevator that only reaches a hotel lobby (a bit odd). The snacks are my favorite items to grab here and I definitely like that the goods are extreme expensive. It is hard to explore the store because of the huge variety but think of it as an adventure when you go. Also, be prepared to brave the line because it is always crowded. Get ready to squeeze in and out of almost every aisle when it's thr evening or weekend.
