The alterations were done so poorly, with the dress top still not fitting properly, the hem being uneven with frayed edges and loose threads showing. We asked for some of the defects to be fixed and they agreed. When we came in the second time the dress was incrementally better. The excuse this time was that the style of dress couldn't be altered the way it needed to. Why didn't they explain that in the first place? If they have professional seamstresses, shouldn't they have known that before hand? They tried to convince us the alterations were good, their attitude was pretty care-less. Too bad we had to pay ahead of time. I'm super disappointed for my mom as she spent over $400 on this dress and decided not to wear it because it didn't fit her properly. I love that it's woman owned and Canadian. I just wish the styles were more fashionable from the cuts to the textile design. The other textiles are very small prints without any real design point or view. So I only shop here for basics. I've never tried returning anything so can't comment on that. Guess the rent is expensive here, for the place feels really tight. I don't even feel so claustrophobic when I shopped Uniqlo in Hong Kong!! Keep an eye out for their sale items.
