Found this little gem in while on a walk during our visit to my husband's hometown. The coffee is good and the sandwiches are delicious! Great place to work or just sit and read! The flowers on the outside patio smell amazing! Service was also good :) I will definitely make this a go to spot when in town!

Zummo's Cafe is such a gem. The ambience is cozy and inviting--perfect for getting work done or just relaxing. The service is always great, and the food doesn't disappoint. I had the chicken salad pita and it was absolutely amazing. Definitely one of my favorite spots to spend a productive afternoon!

The service was friendly and helpful. Got the cold brew and French toast donut which was the star of the show. Ambiance was nice with lots of seating and comfortable aesthetic. A great place to study or catch up with friends.

I was in town visiting family friends and was in search for a cute cafe for breakfast. So happy I was able to stop by Zummo's! Located on a side street, with plenty of street parking or parking in the lot across the street on weekends. It's such a cute cafe, with a beautiful mural on the side wall. Once you walk in, you'll feel the homey ambiance. They offer multiple options of coffee and tea, scones and sandwiches, and even açaí bowls! I ordered an iced Honey Lavender latte, HIGHLY recommend! For food, I ordered a veggie breakfast sandwich and shared 3 of their macaroons with my sister. Service was fast and friendly. Loved that they offer more seating in the back, free wifi, and even a small patio space outside if you're wanting fresh air while eating/drinking. I'll definitely be back!

Mr. Zummo must have been the cobbler who previously owned the store. It was later a candy store, we were told.

We had a few savory items (breakfast burrito, vegan breakfast sandwich, chicken salad pita) and a muffin from here for lunch. Very satisfying.

Rarely in my travels do I encounter such a cute coffee spot that deserves a special shout out, but Blackwatch Cafe is worth a caffeine fix detour when traveling through the Scranton area. The unique vibe hits you as soon as you walk in, as there's decor worth a look in almost every direction. It's a tasteful collection of fixtures, pictures, and figures of all kinds. There is parking nearby the cafe, and the place offers a walk up window should you wish to sit on the patio outside or grab a drink to take for a stroll in the park. I ordered an iced mocha latte (half sweet), and it was prepared to perfection with a smooth taste and just the right amount of sweetness, and no hints of bitterness. It was probably the best iced mocha drink I've had in over a year. Service from the several ladies working there was really friendly. All in all, Blackwatch Cafe was a top notch cafe experience for me, and I'd wholeheartedly recommend others give them a visit when visiting Scranton. It's definitely the kind of coffee shop the world could use more of, offering a quality product, as well as a unique cafe experience. The park offers a wonderful place to stroll as well.

I decided on the buffalo chicken grilled cheese--a classic grilled cheese with shredded chicken tossed in buffalo sauce. We ate here on a Friday afternoon on our way back home. We were the first customers to arrive as we got there just as it opened. In addition to their food, they also have bubble tea. We ordered the thai tea and vietnamese blended milk coffee. Loved the blended milk coffee but just keep in mind that it is very strong! I found the thai tea to be a bit too sweet and ended up mixing in some water later. The pho was very good with rich meaty broth that wasn't greasy at all. They gave us plenty of noodles and lots of meat. The spring rolls consisted of both pork and shrimp but the peanut sauce was a bit too watery. I prefer mine to be of thicker consistency. We love garlic noodles so when we saw them on the menu, we had to order it. Unfortunately, we found it to be very salty. The noodle texture was perfect though, nice and chewy. Loved that it came with large shrimp and meat but just was too salty. Our waitress was very nice and checked on us a few times. Seating is roomy and overlooks the mall.

I love finding cafès with a big variety of drink offerings and bites. This place definitely fits the bill! I ordered a Joseph's salad with chicken: grilled chicken over spring mix, dried cranberries, crumbled blue cheese, and butter toasted walnuts with house orange viniagrette - exactly what i was looking for! Plus! You know i need at least 2 drinks wherever i go, so i ended up trying their chaga Matcha ($6.50) and coconut matcha smoothie ($8). I prefer the former but both are yummy and they use 100% premium ceremonial grade matcha! They came out mild and delicious rather than being too bitter or sweet as some matcha drinks can be. Service was amazing, though you'll need to ring a bell in case someone is in the back. I actually preferred this since the place wasn't crowded and I could take my time with the menu and everything on display. Paige was the barista and she was super friendly, and even offered me some buttons and handouts when I asked about their chaga matcha! Ambiance here is also nice! It's actually located inside a Fidelity bank but with plenty of breathing room to order at the cafè and sit to enjoy your meal. There's plenty of outdoor seating and corporate-esque seating inside. If you have Fidelity, you can actually get a discount on coffee here as well! Everything seemed pretty reasonably priced to me, coming out to just under $25. A great spot to stumble upon!
