Wirewood Market - Great selection of antiques and furniture!

Decided to stop by this past weekend for our antique shopping. We traveled from Ocala and this is…read moreour first time visiting Wirewood Market. We were greeted upon arrival and checked on while perusing the isles. At first glance, the store seemed a bit small, which turned out to be incorrect; however, even though they had a good many things, including a very pretty wash basin and vanity desk, the place also served as a sort of boutique with lotions, soaps and other items to delight their older customers. As serious antique customers, we prefer real antique stores and unfortunately did not find that had to have item. I think it says something when the customer, after walking a third of the store, starts looking up other antique stores to visit next. It was worth stopping by; however, we will not be adding Wirewood Market to our favorites list for yearly trips.

This store has a mix of antique, vintage, and modern items for sale. There is a lot of well-built…read morefurniture, picture frames, mirrors, dressers, cabinets, and more. Endless knick-knacks and collectables, home-made soaps, oils, and such. Lots of Holiday inspired decorations, ceramic trees, Santa's, Elves and more. There is a decent selection of unique and beautiful hand-made jewelry, vintage tools, gauges, and workshop style equipment available as well. The staff here are welcoming and friendly. Pricing is fair, although some items such as vintage Santa and Elf figurines were priced higher here than other local thrift shops in the area. There is a restroom available to customers who shop here. I didn't purchase anything today, but my mom found a bunch of stuff. She was ecstatic to find three Putz Houses (Paper Houses) that she had to buy. Two were selling for $12.95 each and the other for $4.95. The staff were great and gently wrapped all of my mom's items to protect them for the trip back to NY. The store is immaculate and decorated beautifully, we easily spent 45-mn to an hour here. They also have a little coffee station available for customers shopping here and the coffee is very good. There is a lot to see here and if you know anyone who owns a log cabin or cottage, bring them with you because they will be in heaven! I highly recommend stopping here if you happen to be shopping in the area. I know it won't be our last time shopping here.

As a customer who has spent over $3,000 on singles in the last 8 months with Coolstuffinc, my…read moreloyalty has been met with poor quality control and unacceptable customer service. While I have noticed minor inconsistencies in grading in the past and chose not to make a fuss, my most recent order crossed a line where I felt the need to reach out. One of the cards ordered was advertised as "Near Mint," but I received a card with physical damage, including deep pen indentations When I contacted customer service about the misgraded item, the only resolution offered was a $2.00 credit or free shipping on my next order. This offer is completely inadequate--it neither compensates for the significant drop in value nor provides the expected remedy of a replacement card in correct condition as per their website's return policy. Coolstuffinc needs to honor its grading standards and provide fair resolutions to long-term customers who receive damaged goods. Buyers beware: "Near Mint" may mean "Damaged." Given their quality control and refusal to make it right, I strongly recommend finding another card store for your purchases.

For over a year now, almost every single order (1 out of 10 at least) has been wrong in some way - damaged cards portrayed as NM, wrong cards sent, parts of the order missing and nothing said to me until I reached out to them, only for them to say "oh yup, we didn't have it so we didn't send it". A prior order I had placed they "lost" a valuable and desired card and so refunded me. They ended up getting said card in stock again months later, so I decided to give them one last chance. I ordered it. They sent me the wrong card. (Ordered Holo, received non-holo promo.) I will never purchase from them again.
