However, they tied the sump to the plumbing stack so it drains to the sanitary sewer. This is a direct violation of local codes and ordinances put out by the city of Saline, MI. Additionally, they installed a water heater for me (which they are trying to claim they never installed) and never pulled a permit for it! I found this all out months later during a rental inspection and reached out to them regarding the issue. They have been screening my calls since my request of documentation of permits pulled and receipts for the work. The company claims to be licensed and I will be filing a complaint with LARA to have their license revoked.

The installation was over a day or two and the team was professional and knowledgable, they answered our questions and concerns. We love our new tub; then the air pump failed! I discovered that this is a frequent problem with hydro-tub air jets. I contacted Mark and the company where we purchased the tub. When Tanner was here they guided him through the air pump and its configurations. Tanner tested the air pump and confirmed that it was gone. The company sent us a new air pump. When the new air pump arrived Mark sent Tanner and Luka for the air pump installation. They were here a couple of hours and confirmed that the air pump functioned fully.

I just had such a terrible experience with Cummings Plumbing that I will not be using them again. Nick, the plumber who came to my home, was unprofessional and made the whole situation uncomfortable. First, he was cursing constantly while working, very inappropriate, especially with my kids in the house. It was really unsettling to have that kind of language in my house and it left me feeling uneasy as my husband wasn't home. To make matters worse, he didn't even tell me he broke the panel he needed to remove to access the plumbing behind the shower. I only found out after the fact when I saw the damage. On top of that, he removed shelving and clothing rods to get to the panel, but didn't bother to put anything back in place. He just left everything scattered on the floor, including my clothes! It was disrespectful and left me with a mess to clean up on top of everything else. I expected a lot more professionalism, especially for the price I paid. I will not be using Cummings Plumbing again and definitely would not recommend them to others.
