I had to circle around quite a few times before a parking spot opened up. I walked into the store on the lower level and the line was long and winding. I was craving just a bagel and was hoping it would be worth the wait. Well, the line went quickly and when I walked up to the register, I was BLOWN AWAY by the donuts and croissants and other pastries that I saw cooling on the bakers racks! The girl behind the register informed before my order that it would be at least a 15 minute wait. So, I ordered just the plain bagel I was craving with their "special" veggie cream cheese. It was ready and brought to me within 5 mins. LET ME TELL YOU! THIS BAGEL was the BEST BAGEL I've ever had!! I even have to admit that these were even slightly better than my own homemade sourdough bagels! It was so SO fresh and that "special" veggie cream cheese was next level! It is served with what they call a house syrup, which is essentially a maple syrup wannabe. They offer the option of real maple syrup for an additional charge. I opted for the authentic item. The waffle was delicious flavorful and made even better because of the true maple syrup! The up charge was $1.75. I also had a very spicy bloody Mary, which is my favorite breakfast cocktail. It was served with a strip of crispy, maple bacon and was quite delicious. This place is not cheap, but nothing is inexpensive these days. The total meal cost $28.41 plus a 20% tip. The photos on Yelp show a beautiful café overlooking the water. (Updated, this is a different location). We ordered through Square and picked up at the drive-thru. Overall, I wasn't impressed. The prices were high, and what we received just wasn't worth it. We spent about $40 on breakfast sandwiches and coffees. Bonus points for the French toast bagel--that was delicious. The egg tasted and looked fake, and the bacon was almost certainly fake. The prices just don't match the quality of the food. Avocado is a $2 up-charge to your sandwich and it came brown, it was overripe. The coffees were good, but overpriced. It was $7 for a coffee with Samoa flavoring. Again, good, but not worth the price. I would try it again if ever given the chance. Response to Owner: I appreciate you taking the time to respond to my review! Thank you providing alternatives but I did order a drip coffee and not a latte. I respect your prices just voiced my opinion.
