Fiona is literally one of the sweetest people I have ever met and working with her for our engagement shoot has been one of the best milestones in wedding planning! When my fiance and I booked her to do our engagement shoot, I was a little nervous. Not about her services 'cuz I'd already heard such great things and had been falling in love with her work which I'd been following for a few years now (check out her newborn pics - those galleries would give anybody serious baby fever!) No, I was nervous because my fiance and I didn't know how to be lovey-dovey in front of a photographer! Lol But honestly, Fiona has the type of personality to make you feel comfortable from the second you meet her, which made all my anxiety go right away. And for those of you that are like us, don't worry! She's the kind of photographer that will tell you what poses to do if you don't know what to do yourself! QUITE the relief! lol All in all, she's extremely personable, never makes you feel anything but comfortable, has a clear passion for her work, and above all, is extremely talented in shooting an array of pictures - from engagement sessions, to weddings, to maternity shoots, to newborn sessions and more! Her visions for photography are unparalleled and the images that she captures are truly a breath taking work of art. I'd highly recommend her!

I was lucky enough to find Rousary Photography through word of mouth- and I can say: STOP YOUR SEARCH NOW and book them for your big day!! I am VERY shy in front of a camera and was terrified to meet strangers and have them take engagement pictures of me in downtown Chicago. Within minutes of meeting Amanda and Jacob, you become instantly comfortable with them. They instantly become everything you need- a coach, a director, a comedian, and an overall HYPE team. I was laughing so much during the shoot that I ended up shaking all nerves and having a fun time. The best part of that is that they captured so many candid moments, which are so fun to look back on. Cut to the wedding day, I was so overwhelmed that morning. Having Jacob and Amanda (of course with giant smiles on) show up was like a wave of calmness on the big day. You felt like your friends were just coming over to help celebrate and happen to take pictures of you. Having them take the vow pictures and couple photos was a perfect experience. They knew when to feel invisible when we were having a private moment reading vows, and know when to step in to be our directors when it was time to take pictures. The reception was perfection because they felt like part of the party, but the pictures were AMAZING. They remembered certain pictures' we talked about as well- like a champagne pop in front of the neon sign at night. So while I completely forgot about that photo I wanted and was dancing away, they made sure to pack a bottle of champagne and sneak us off the dance floor for the picture we really wanted. What is even better, when you start to feel the wedding blues set in a few days after the wedding, BAM. You are sent preview photos. And I do not mean 10-15 preview photos, I mean 100+ preview photos. If that doesn't pull you out of the "wedding is over blues" nothing will! I could go on and on about how talented, hard working, kind and amazing this team is. You will not regret booking them for any special day you want to capture! There are no words to describe the beauty of Delack's work. We ran across them about a year ago…read morethrough a friend's facebook post of their wedding trailer by Delack. Since that moment, after we watched every single one of their trailers on their website while drowning in tears, we KNEW without a doubt who we wanted to document our wedding! This was before we were even engaged! Once my husband did propose, our first call was to Nathan to check their availability. We based our date on their openings! Somehow, our favorite venue was available on the same day. We immediately booked and planned the wedding in 6 months. We were anxious to start working with Nathan, so we decided to do a "save the date" trailer to send out to our guests. WIthin a week or 2, we were shooting all around the city and having an amazing time with Nathan and his crew. The video was done in just a few days and it turned out better than our already high expectations! We put it on our website and sent it out via email. Our friends and family were sending it to others and everyone was talking about how amazing it was! It certainly gave our guests the feeling of something to look forward to! Our wedding day quickly arrived, and the anticipation for our "same day edit" was intensifying! Our guests did not know that a same day edit was taking place. After the first dance and speeches, my husband and I introduced the video. It was absolutely incredible. The entire room was in tears, and it was so amazing to see the day that had so quickly passed us by, captured in such a beautiful way. The crew was working diligently the entire day and even though it was done so quickly, it looked like something that took weeks to create! From the music, to the hollywood angles, flawless execution, and emotion in every scene, we couldn't have been more pleased with the results. We cannot wait to see the full video that Nathan and his crew at Delack have created for us. He has kept us updated and we hear it is just about finished. They work so hard and quickly...very professional as well!! Video of your wedding is the most incredible way to remember your day. But the way Delack captures every special moment and puts it together will without a doubt leave you speechless. I came across one of his trailers on Facebook before my now-husband and I even got engaged! His work was so beautiful that it reduced me to tears (and I didn't even personally know the bride and groom!); I knew right away that Nathan (the owner and lead videographer) was a special talent and that I wanted to work with him. From our first contact, Nathan was extremely pleasant, professional, and responsive! I'm a little on the OCD side, so I loved how thorough he was and his amazing attention to detail. What's even better? On our wedding day, he and his team were so unobtrusive that we didn't even notice they were there! His rates are fairly expensive, but it's definitely some of the best money we spent. We cant wait to see our full film!

To be honest, the photographer was the only vendor I was picky about and as soon as I saw their wedding photography, I knew immediately that they had to be ours. I love the lighting and style of their work. They are incredibly talented and have an eye for what makes a good photo. I loved how their documentary style gave us a full story of that day. If that wasn't enough, Mark and Magda are incredibly kind and will put their whole heart into your day. They were present and attentive the whole time. When the events of the day were underway I didn't even notice them buzzing around snapping photos. They were also responsive before and after the wedding and worked well with our wedding planner when it came to scheduling, etc. We received the photos within a couple weeks of the wedding. They also helped us select photos for a leather-bound book (honestly, they did most of the selecting/formatting themselves which was wonderful - I'm a hands-off kind of bride). I've told Mark and Magda I want them to be our family photographer forever! I'm just so in love with their work and I don't want our wedding to be the last time we work with them. I can't recommend them enough and they'll be worth every single dollar you spend on them (something pretty uncommon in the wedding industry!!)

From the very beginning, Mark was super easy to communicate with and he always responded promptly to the plethora of questions that I threw at him. At our initial meeting, he really took the time to understand what I was looking for in a photographer and what was important to me when photographing our wedding day. From looking through his blog, I knew immediately that his style of photography was exactly what we were looking for; candid, artsy, and a unique way of capturing light (this was huge for me). After we signed the contract with him, Mark was great about keeping in touch over the months leading up to the wedding to get all the specifics of the day and to check in to see if I had any questions. He always made himself available via email or phone if I needed advice for how to best set up our schedule for the day or even if I had silly freak out questions about worst-case weather scenarios (which he always put me at ease about). I really appreciated that Mark & Madga took a day ahead of time to scope out our church and reception venue. I told him it was very important that we incorporate the outdoors as much as we could, and he made sure to find some great potential locations for photos. On the day of, Mark and Magda were able to coordinate perfectly to ensure that both my husband and I would have pictures of us getting ready with our bridal parties. They are both so personable and fun that they quickly put me at ease and really blended into the background to get all of these amazing candid shots throughout the morning. The ceremony went flawlessly and they coordinated group family shots with ease. I think that my favorite thing about working with Mark and Magda was how enthusiastic they were about taking amazing photographs. They went out of their way to convince an owner of a private barn to let us take pictures on his property and I couldn't help but really get into the photo session as Mark was so excited about the location and the light filtering into the barn. The photos from our cocktail hour were such a pleasant surprise to look at after the wedding as I barely even noticed them mingling in the groups to snag some amazing candid photos of all our friends and family. Mark was able to coordinate the timing perfectly at our reception to sneak us outside right after dinner to get these amazing golden hour pictures on the beach. I highly highly recommend Mark Trela as a Wedding Photographer. He is a true professional, a super great guy to have around on your big day, and he creates absolutely stunning photographs.

I visited their office in Northbrook and was shown to their super cool movie theater room. There Jeff explained the many options for videography and had so many video examples to show. One of the options was a cinema style video, which is basically creating a movie out of someone's bar-mitzvah. The videos were so amazing that I found myself glued to the stories of random 13 year old's special days and when Jeff turned one off after a few min I was bummed I wouldn't find out what happened to Drew! Drew's bar-mitzvah kept me as engaged as some of my favorite TV shows! They also take photo montages to the next level.
