When we got there it was calmer (after the lunch rush) the man at the counter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered our food and enjoyed it thoroughly when it arrived shortly. The price was reasonable, but the food was not the greatest. I got a torta de lengua and two asada tacos. The lengua had no flavor. The torta in general was a huge disappointment because it was plain af and was soggy. I also lost half the meat because the bread fell apart. The Chile also, was not good. The asada was ok, but the lack of onion and cilantro put a damper on them. Also, who puts regular lettuce in a street taco??? I'd like to say I'd go back to give it another chance, but I will not. The fact that I was starving and still was disappointed kinda says a lot.

I went to La Colima, El Fogon and Con Sabor a Mexico and loved all of them, El Fogón being my favorite. At La Colima I had the birria de chivo and a pupusa and they were both very good, the pupusa especially. The broth for the Birria was pretty good and the meat was very tender. I got three big chunks of goat in the Birria and while I wasn't happy with the amount of fat on each of them, that's to be expected with whole chunks of goat meat. The repollo (pickled cabbage) that came with the pupusa was very good. And the house-made tortillas that came with the birria were fantastic.

This may be our new favorite spot! It certainly is the favorite in the lower valley!…read more We happen to find this place for dinner, one night after a series of basketball games in the area. It's affectively a food truck inside a small garage. It checks all the boxes for things we were looking for... Owned by a small family, great food, and in a non-traditional location! The folks working here are absolutely delightful! It was a husband and wife along with what I assume was a grandmother. The grandmother was making homemade tortillas using an old-school tortilla press. They were absolutely magnificent! We ended up ordering, a dozen tacos for the five of us and then ordering three more after finding out how good they were! They have tons of different meat options, but had one that we've never tried, and then quickly became a favorite - Buche! They combined it with Carnitas, and it was absolutely amazing! Buche is pig stomach, and before you get grossed out, it's similar to Tripa and was fried up to be crispy. Combine that with the deliciousness that is Carnitas, and you've got yourself something to write home about! The adobada and Asada were lovely as well! They have lots of different pop options, including Jaritos, and Fanta, along with general Coke products. End of the day, this place is absolutely awesome! If you're in the area, you owe it to yourself to go try it out.
