I wanted a light lunch so I decided to stop by here because I pass by it all the time. I ordered the chicken panini. The food was so bland, sauce on the side would not have helped this meal. The salad wasn't even good to me. SMH heard the coffee was good but I will not be returning. Even the service was awkward. I was not get greeted at all she was just looking at me. I will not be coming back!

Roasted Veggie Panini with a side salad

While traveling through Auburn with my strictly vegan friend, I searched Yelp for lunch options that would work for both of us and Zola's seemed like a good fit. She selected the Zola Bowl, which was flavorful and satisfying. I chose the Roasted Veggie Panini, which had creamy cheese, sweet roasted vegetables, and crunchy, delicious bread. We liked the food so much that we stopped there the second day and ordered the exact same items. It's a small cafe with local art and some local jewelry for sale as well. There are a few outdoor seats, which were great for a beautiful, sunny day. Order at the counter and the food will be brought out to you. It's a casual cafe where you bus your own table. I highly recommend it.

Their new French Dip with braised Portabella Mushrooms

This place is great! Its a good place to come and hang out with friends or your partner. They have great coffee and really good food! Today i tried their new menu and got the French dip with Braised Portabella Mushrooms and it was so delicious! You can taste the horseradish spread that they use, and it pairs well with the flavors of the sandwich, especially when you dip it in the broth it comes with.

Egg and potato burrito

The previous reviews put it as a top contender for breakfast as we were passing thru town. First, I would call this a coffee shop with food and not a 'cafe'. Like any other coffee shop, step up to the counter, order, sit and wait for your name to be called. But unlike other shops the food isn't premade processed food that get reheated to order. The egg and hashbrown burrito I got was pretty good. I have never had a burrito made on a panini press and I can say it's a great way to do it! The flavor was good even though the potatoes had a little burned flavor. I did not like the salsa, it tasted like Pace from a jar.

Latte and a snippet of their menu

Visited on a Sunday for brunch time with a couple of friends and we spent about 2 hours here. They did not kick us out and let us enjoy our time here. When you arrive, you can sit wherever you like and their menus are available right at the front of the register. After you order, they will deliver your food and/or drink to you. Inside was spacious, with some outdoor seating. They even have a couch by the fireplace if youre just there to hangout and enjoy your coffee. For coffee, I ordered a latte. Creamy with a good taste of espresso. For food, I ordered a Eggplant Panini and although it look small, it was actually very filling. Could only eat half and took the rest home. I have to say to this day, I am still craving that sandwich. Their foccacia bread is so unique and tasted so well with the sandwich, I need to go back when I have time to. It was that good. My friends also ordered a panini and have finished theirs. Also noted that they loved theirs as well. Sadly, I did not write the names of them down. Overall, I definitely recommend. A good place to sit down, enjoy a cup of coffee and/od catch up with friends.

This was a great spot to grab a light lunch and some coffee! The hubs and I were driving through the area and needed lunch and coffee and this hit those requirements. My husband ordered make your own sandwich and got it with turkey, mayo, tomato, pickle on focaccia and he loved it! I had a bite and it was good! The side salad and ranch was also delicious. He had an iced latte too which was delicious. I had a minestrone soup and it was so yummy as well as the caramel coffee. Service was quick and efficient, as well as friendly. They have tables inside and outside as well as a couch and comfortable chair area to sit. They have other foods such as pastries, breakfast items and sweets and lots more coffee drinks.

This place came through in a pinch for some gluten free cinnamon rolls and we couldn't be happier! The employees were so helpful. We ended up getting some other items as well along with multiple drinks. Everything was fabulous. Thank you so much!

Decent coffee place, stopped by after an appointment to sit and enjoy a cuppa. Got the seasonal PSL and a side of Blueberry muffin.

Hash brown sandwich
Gina T.

Don't get the hash brown sandwich! The potatoes were completely dried out. I needed a steak knife, rather than a fork or butter knife to cut through it. All of the moisture was completely cooked out of the potatoes. Also ... extremely heavy-handed with the pepper. Inedible! Good concept, but terrible execution. Sad

We enjoyed the spot for Sunday morning, coffee, and breakfast. We were able to sit outside and joy the end of summer. Good coffee options. I ordered the Zola bowl with vegan sausage for breakfast.it was tasty and very filling. I would order again. I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. A place you can relax and enjoy.

Their…read moreseats are comfy and you have a decent view from most seats (maybe limited on the outside section and definitely lawn area). The food was inedible and super expensive, the chicken wrap was a toss out, that's how bad it was. The burger was horrible, best thing was the fries. Half the food options were closed too, which sucked, we were so looking forward to Kokos. Either it was in a closed of area (they didn't even open the second food area) or they no longer serve food here, but no one updated the website. I will never go there again without getting food before we arrive. Now, drinks are prohibitively expensive, you get better value at the Ms or Seahawks. $19 for a beer, $27 for a frozen drink... no thank you! On the positive note, they sell liquid death, which was surprising and really cool. Still expensive for non-alcoholic, but better than soda only. Getting there is a huge pain coming from Woodinville, it's far, it's a ton of traffic and where it's located, is literally in the middle of nowhere with little access options. Parking is free if you use the basic lot behind the venue, which we did. I don't see the value in parking for $40-50 to circumvent walking 5min. Getting out is another story, bring patience, it's pure chaos. I don't think I'll make effort in the future to go visit without improvement, but if a fantastic band is coming, I might do the painful everything again - just not for something middle of the road that I would probably see if access and price is good.

It took us over an hour to get from hwy 18 to the venue (should take 20 minutes) due to the horrendous traffic. It took us over an hour for our vehicle to even begin moving in the parking lot to leave. Absolutely ridiculous parking situation. I can't even imagine how terrible it must be for residents in the area who have to re-arrange their lives for events at this venue. We paid 53.00 for a can of beer and a 16 ounce drink. The sound was great and all seats had a great view. BUT, you can bet your sweet *ss we will not ever go back here.

The first few…read moretimes was for lectures and I think I prefer this venue for occasions like that as opposed to concerts. There is always plenty of seating (metal chairs brought in) the two times we came here for events like this. There is some seating to the side against the wall too. But for a concert? Forget any kind of seating. While there is still seats against the wall they are quickly taken and you aren't likely to see who is performing on the stage anyway so you will need to stand. And there have been venues I have been to where there isn't any seating... and usually it's dive bars. Though the Spanish Ballroom isn't a dive bar. Lol! So wear good shoes. The concert I did go to the stage and acoustics weren't bad so it's a good place to do concerts aside from those who want to sit. Overall I like this place that is part of the Elks Temple... and it adds to this location as being one of my favorite McMenamins locations I have been to.

A beautiful venue!…read more Even though we were at a dance party with a live band and the interior was mostly dark concert lighting, one could still see the beautiful columns and light fixtures throughout the ballroom were gorgeous. We were all dressed up for Halloween and the band was playing a wide range of spooky hit music and there were a lot of very cool costumes everywhere. People's creativity really shined at this event. The floor was super sticky which prevented me from doing my version of the Moonwalk dancing but there was plenty of room to move. There were lots of water jugs available for hydration for everyone in their hot costumes and great bar service. We had a good time and I would love to come back for their daily tour of this Spanish Ballroom with the lights on!
