Bank holiday Monday and not many restaurants open, so we might as well try Zizzi, which I'd never really considered before. Huge menu of pizzas, pasta, salad etc, spoilt for choice. Friendly, attentive staff, apart from the hostess, who behaved as though we were lucky to get a table for 3, despite having reserved in advance.
Big portions, so we only managed a main course each. We ordered one calzone pizza, one spaghetti carbonara and one big salad. (Slightly annoyed at having to wait several minutes for the salad while the other two meals were getting cold. Can it be that difficult to serve 3 people at the same moment?). Quality of food is fine, with a reasonable bill at the end.
As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the big hollow box effect makes it rather noisy (even though the place was not even half full). I'd say it was a good place to bring children, as there is a wide enough menu to suit even the fussiest eater. read more
