Our kids have now been in the Radayeva Music Studio program for nine months and we cannot praise…read morethis program enough. We started our piano journey at another local music program and ended up leaving in search of something more structured, organized, and thoughtful about music learning. What we have found with Ms. Rimma has been that and much more. The program, which is her brainchild, is rigorous but not without reason or results. Ms. Rimma has a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of music and how best it should be taught. Her music program is layered, structured, and holistic and she is very professional, direct, and skilled. We have 3 children in her program and each of them learn very differently. She applies the same thorough curriculum to them all but is nuanced and individual in her teaching where it matters. Within the first few months at Radayeva Music Studio we saw a big difference in our children's understanding of music and their ability to perform it. Like many skills, it requires dedication, practice, and homework but it is paying off. Our children are very happy and, most importantly, they are proud of themselves.

This is a barbershop not a music academy! Our son was being coached here for 3 months. We were out…read morefor just a week long vacation last week during which our credit card on file was declined so they apparently emailed us daily (we did not have access to email and phone) and then cancelled our registration (unknown to us). When we showed up for our session today (the day after our vacation) we were told rudely that we have been de-registered and we cannot attend the class today. Additionally, they expect us to pay a registration fee again to restart classes and then reschedule for a following week onward. Unbelievably dismal customer service and unfriendly business policies - bottom line - they don't seem to have any trust in their customers. They could have easily given us a chance to fix the credit card issue when we showed up for our class today! The "makeup" sessions (when your child misses a session due to illness or other reason) is a joke - where they have a group lesson with a random lesson plan that has no continuity with the weekly learning. Additionally, twice we were "unenrolled" from a scheduled makeup session without warning or even a courtesy notice only to be informed that rescheduling now will be weeks out. FWIW, our experience with the piano teachers here was average but we expected more engaging teachers given the age group (7-8 year old) of the student. Given poor business etiquette, I would be surprised if the teachers stick around for long! Sadly, we will not be giving them a second chance after our poor experience here.

My son has been taking guitar lessons with Sean & I really could not be happier. Sean is a very patient & easy going guy who makes learning fun for my son. I am a laid back mom when it comes to music, just want it to be fun so this works perfectly for me. My son has done amazing in my opinion & I attribute it almost entirely to Sean's teaching! My daughter has taken piano lessons with 3 teachers and altho my favorite teacher is no longer working there I have been extremely happy with how much she has learned. The office has treated me very fairly when we need to put lessons on hold over summer & once when my daughter broke her arm. I wanted to review because when I was trying to find a place for lessons there were no reviews here & it was hard to make a decision to try it or not! I am very glad we picked this company for our music lessons...great staff plus the convenience of being able to do my grocery shopping during lessons is a big plus.

I've never heard of Music Together before, so I thought it was a music store with instruments and books. It's a great place to take music classes. Children, siblings and parents can attend the classes together and discover the magic of music together. Classes are typically taught in ten-week semesters, with a new song collection each session. And there are take home materials and illustrated songbooks included. I would definitely enroll my neice in this program. I'll be back for the summer program.

However, l think saying 0-9 months for the babies class is a bit of a stretch. I think my baby and I would've had more fun together had we started around 4 months or later. We started much earlier, and again, while it met my purpose of getting out, we weren't able to fully engage in a lot of the offering, and it was sometimes hard to see how much more the older babies were able to do and enjoy it. On this same note, that makes the free make ups limited, because I really didn't feel comfortable doing the all ages class, and there weren't baby make ups other than my own class (would've been better if they carried into next session). Only other note is that I wish there were more known and upbeat songs, many were kind of bizarre with hard to remember lyrics or a somber tone. Overall a good experience, and would recommend to others, but with those caveats.

She first started because she was interested in piano, but there were times when she found it more challenging than she expected. With Marina's patience and encouragement, she has gained confidence in her progress and continues to enjoy learning. She also had the opportunity to participate in a recital, and seeing the other students perform seemed to motivate her even more. It was also clear to us how much passion Marina has for teaching and for her students. We also really appreciate how consistent and flexible she is with lessons. Life gets busy and unexpected things come up, but she always makes an effort to schedule makeup lessons as soon as possible, even through Zoom when needed, so her students can stay consistent and continue learning without losing momentum. We're very grateful for the care and effort she puts into helping her students grow. We've had such a positive experience that we would love for our younger daughter to start lessons with Marina when she's ready, and hopefully our son someday too! Our younger daughter is getting close to the age when she can start, so we're already hoping there will be a spot available for her.
