My friends and I had a great time on the Trolley Pub but there were unfortunately many things that…read morewent wrong that could have been avoided under the proper care. Due to this, I would not recommend this business. I'll start off with what went right. We loved our driver Mae, she was very friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable about the area, and great at communication. The trolley fit all 15 of us well and had 5 spots for non pedalers. There was plenty of storage for coolers and bags. They also provided a large cooler with ice and a large trash can, as well as a speaker you can connect to. It was fun, everyone had a good time due to their positive outlooks, and if the negative aspects were fixed, I would return. Now for what went wrong. To start, the booking was a nightmare. I booked through Groupon a month in advance. There was an issue on Groupons side that made the reservation and sent confirmation from Tolley Pub to me as soon as I booked, but didn't collect payment or have an actual order through Groupon. After contacting Groupon, they said they I needed to go to trolley pub directly. I emailed the address on Trolley Pub's website for this location multiple times over a week with no response. I finally called and the owner Mike said they knew of the issue and would send me an invoice directly and gave me his personal number to text him my total from Groupon. I sent it immediately and followed up a few times over the next 3 days due to no response. Another 3 days go by with the owner promising the invoice but no action taken. Then the driver Josh texts me at 9 pm and makes the situation even messier. He tells me I wasn't charged and refuses to listen to me when I say I was already speaking with Mike. I told him to please speak with Mike himself instead of making me relay the information between the 2 of them. He then continues to text me at 10 pm and sent me screenshots of his texts with Mike. I don't think I have to say how unprofessional and disorganized this is. It wasn't until I threaten to take my business to Pedal Pub that I immediately received the invoice. Besides that, there were many issues with the trolley pub itself. The bikes were either broken or broke at the beginning of our trip, resulting in only 5 operable bikes to push 15 people. The people who did have to pedal were exhausted carrying all of the weight. There was rain water on top, causing water to constantly faon us the entire trip. There was lack of communication between drivers, with Josh yelling at Mae from behind telling her she's going the wrong way. The bike didn't turn well and some of my guests had to get out and push the entire trolley to turn it. The speaker also kept going in and out. We only spent about 10 minutes on the bike between each stop, so the majority of the trip was just at the bars. We prepared so many drinks just to not even be able to drink them because we were barely even on the trolley. I saw on other people's reviews that they also had broken bikes, so the owner could have fixed this but chose not to. All of these mishaps could have been avoided and if it wasn't for getting a great deal on Groupon, I would be demanding a refund due to all that happened.

Make sure you bring a small cooler and some drinks as well, because it's BYOB for the actual ride and Josh had us play some party games to drink while pedaling. We started off at a brewery and then moved to hit 3 more after that! The places were unique: a dog bar, a vintage thrift store/cocktail lounge, and an outdoor brewery. Pedaling wasn't too bad and it was fun weaving in and out of traffic because everyone cheered and waved us on. We ended at the same brewery we started with and hung out with Josh for a bit after to let a storm pass before we headed out. Overall it was 10/10 for the party and the memories made!

A mix of individuals, some older people (including one man who looked like a ghoul [trench coat, white hair, pocket wayxh]). Nothing wrong with this, in fact quite interesting, until we saw some soldiers (who appeared to be legit Castle security) walk past us, including one in an SS Nazi uniform. The frat men continued to multiply, and were very loud and obnoxious. In the back was some sort of BDSM spanking exhibit with a man in a furry costume doing the spanking. We stood close to this exhibit as loud "industrial noise" music played. I would akin this music to a spoon banging against a pot. There was a man who appeared to clearly be fent folding amidst the dance floor who proceeded to catch a random girl's twerk... And stared at us with beady eyes. Before going downstairs, I accidentally bumped into someone and he hissed at me, which was interesting. Okay guys, stick with me, we're getting to the best part. After all of these events, we go downstairs to the basement (or dungeon). Pleasurably, they were not playing industrial noise. Actual songs with lyrics! Yay. Early 2000s alternative. The dungeon had a bunk bed sort of set up where many different individuals seemed to be having a sensory break, other than the frat boys who were posing on top of it and flipping off of it. As we continued our observations, we noted two older gay men dressed as a cop and a prisoner. One laid down and the other began dancing right in front of him, akin to some sort of ritual. We soon after spotted a shirtless Marshmello across the room, which was quite exciting. Lots of shirtless men parading around, some with the leashes of their skinny asian girlfriends in hand. Before leaving, we finished up our people watching by observing Lisa from Genshin Impact, Sasuke & Sakura from Naruto, and Inosuke from Demon Slayer enter in highly realistic cosplays. In our state, we could not rationalize that these people were not actually from the show as the DJ conveniently decided to play anime OSTs as they entered. We also believe we spotted Shadow the Hedgehog. Not sure of this. Final note-- the people who would come in and greet each other by dancing at each other. Very interesting and something we had never seen before. It was like witnessing a different reality. To sum up The Castle experience, this is like a place a parent would have a nightmare of their child coming to. Would return!

We used…read moreto be regulars until the last visit, unfortunately the last visit made us all feel like we shouldn't come back for a while. Food- The drinks are pricey, they are pricey anywhere but it the prices vary on which bartender you go to. Service- Upon arrival, the price for entry depends on the night. Sometimes it is $20 to get in and on special nights (Halloween) it is like $50 (ridiculous lmao). It also varies if you're under 21 as well (it's a couple more bucks to get in underage). If you're 21+ you get a wrist band but if you're under 21, you get the black Xs on your hands. The staff is nice except the bouncer, he was kinda rude to my Fiancé. Ambience- The place is beautiful, it fully covers the dark ambience for our alternative peeps. The lights, the seating and decor. It's perfect, it's the best part of the club if anything. The reason I have not been able to come back is due to the amount of frat boys that come in and make it uncomfortable. My last visit, I went with my fiancé and his buddies so they could enjoy a night since they traveled down from South Carolina. The moment my fiancé left my side to grab us drinks, a guy came in started talking to me and asked me if that was my fiancé. It was ok until he started asking me for my number and I told him no MULTIPLE TIMES. I have a fiancé and I'm not interested. It took until my fiancé returned to have him get up and leave me alone. There was a staff member near by and I usually remember them to be very observant (had a similar situation where they came up and made sure I was ok) I obviously was uncomfortable so I thought it would bring attention that I needed help. I also noticed that the people with Xs on their hands seem to be more drunk than I was. We hope to come back eventually but for now we will stay away.

Friendly staff, strong drinks, zero attitude. It's one of those rare bars where you can come as you are -- whether you're meeting friends, people-watching from the iconic front window, or hanging on the patio (the new pool table is a fun addition ). It has roots as a longtime LGBTQ+ favorite, but today it's simply a welcoming, everyone's-invited kind of vibe. Locals love it for a reason. If you haven't been in a while, it's worth rediscovering.

I was really hopeful that this would be the place, but it's not. We were here from about 8 PM to 9:45 PM on a Saturday. The back patio was very busy with live music that was quite good. So if I was looking for a relaxing place to listen to live music, then this would be it. They have a food truck, they do allow smoking in the back patio, which is not my favorite, but it didn't seem like many people are doing it so I think you can avoid it if you want to. I was really hoping that there would be more dancing inside, we kept going back into check if there was anyone dancing. For the longest time there wasn't actually even anyone inside except for a few people at the bar. At around 9:40 PM, there were a couple women that started dancing, the problem was I didn't like any of the music that the DJ was playing. I didn't recognize it at all. I don't think it was new music, but it was older music that I didn't recognize. We ended up making a pivot and driving to Nash Keys, which is 10 minutes away and they have dueling pianos on Saturdays. I was disappointed that I didn't know the music, because even if there was only a few people dancing I still would've danced, but being that I wasn't a fan of the music there really wasn't any point to do it. So maybe if we had stayed later there would be more dancing, but a combination of no dancing plus not knowing the music we did not want to stick around. Again, the back patio with live music was quite nice, different vibes so it depends what you want. I probably won't come back unless it's well after 10 PM.

The administrative department was quick to respond to my e-mails and questions pertaining to the event, the price was extremely reasonable for what we received, and the Presidential bus (best party bus AROUND!) was clean and spacious. For a bridal party of 20 (including us), we definitely needed a ton of space for bodies and alcohol. This was the perfect fit for us. The bus even had a bathroom on it - SCORE! When I stepped onto the bus, I was greeted by the kindest, coolest, and most professional driver - Charles. To say that he was definitely a PEAK to our wedding is an understatement. All 20 of us LOVED Charles, we even got photos with him! He was on time, flexible, and understanding. He was helpful, gracious, and so cool.
