There were 6 boats on our tour - our guide Cole was awesome! Super friendly and knowledgeable dude who's been all over the world rafting and kayaking. The ride started chill, the heat was blazing, and the water cool! The rapids were really fun. We even stopped for a mid ride cliff jump! That was unexpected and completely awesome. The guides are funny, knowledgeable and make the trip great. (Bennett was our guide this last trip). I took the 1/2 day South Fork of the Payette River both times. We came from Boise, rafted the 1:30 trip and were back in Boise for dinner. But, you don't have to rush home because there are some good restaurants along the way. I will be back next year.

They have really clean bathrooms, nice covered sitting areas with tables and chairs and some with picnic tables, a changing room, a nice little giift area and cafe. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming to us. We were able to get a breakfast burrito (which was delicious) and just take in the beauty of the river. Once the traffic got moving, we loaded onto our bus with Owen, our driver, and Anna our guide. These two really made us feel welcome and we just knew we were going to have a great day. It was just my husband and I and another couple, Chuck and Marcia who were super friendly and it was great getting to know them throughout our day. Anna was simply a firecracker, so full of energy and positivity and funny too, that we were having a great day, just on the drive up to Cabarton Road. After our safety drill we were off. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous and we had time to take it all in and just float on down the Payette in between the "rapid" times. When we came to the rapids, they were GREAT Category 2 and 3s and we had so much fun. Anna then pulled out for lunch and put out this great spread of food, carrots with humus (that was oh soooo god I wish they sold it), crackers with cream cheese and salsa, pasta salad, apples and oranges slices, sandwich fixins and then cookies for desert. They even had a gluten-free brownie and glute-free bread fir ne which were both terrific. Anna's guide skills are wonderful and on top of that having to entertain us, abd fix us lunch, really demonstrates what a terrific work ethic she has and she does so with passion and a great attitude. It was a full day and we were exhausted at the end, but we had such a great time and can't thank Anna and Owen enough for making sure we had a great time and came home with such wonderful memories of this day. We are already looking forward to next season and coming back to do this same run again. After going through one other place when we did our first rafting excursion, we will definitely be coming back to THIS one from now on, and I highly recommend this company.

I spoke with Jan Snell, who was cheerful and helpful when it came to taking my $800.00 deposit. Before I was able to take the trip, I was afflicted with necrotizing pneumonia and ended up in the ICU for an extended stay. I was not physically able to take this trip and communicated this early on with Jan. Jan told me, "Of course we will refund your deposit!" That was several months ago. Numerous unanswered emails and phone calls later, I still do not have a refund. The company has gone totally silent on me.

But today, today I got to check out the café. I got an invite to have lunch with my MIL and her girl gang. Of course I couldn't say no. Unfortunately we came on a day that a lot of the staff wasn't in. So, a portion of the café was closed. I guess thier entrée selection at lunch is on point. And the day I decided to come was the day I couldn't check it out. It's all good! We made do with what was available. My MIL and her girlfriends headed towards the salad bar. I decided on a burger. The chef that was working was so kind! I got a double patty bunless burger with cheese. I asked for it to be freshly made and made well done. "Piece" of cake the chef said and started on my burger. I would have loved to add the lettuce, tomato and pickles but unfortunately I couldn't since it was available to everyone. But I'm always down for just the patties with extra cheese. While my burger was being made, I got to check out the venue downstairs. I love the dim lights that are hung in another part of the area. It's so romantic and cozy. There were a couple spots for food and I believe coffee. I didn't want to be gone too long but it's cool I got to peep it out. I'll have to see if it's coffee shop next time. An afternoon caffeinated beverage is always a good idea. I headed back and grabbed my burger. It looked fabulous! The gentleman that checked me out was kind and grabbed me a fresh set of plastic ware since I can't really use communal. I appreciate how kind they both were. My burger was extra cheesy and really well done. It was a little dry but ketchup, mustard and relish took care of that problem. I needed it well done so it wasn't on the chef. It just had to be cooked that way. And I ate the whole thing. Lunch was chill with my MIL and her friends. I did get to peep out all the huge Scentsy buddies on the way out. Who needs a bed when you can just rally a few of those buddies and pass out. I would in a heart beat! I just need 3 and my bed would be complete. I have yet to check out the lights during the holidays. That's on my to do list this Christmas. I look forward to experiencing it. This venue is so pretty, the landscaping here is always on point. The staff that helped me today was so kind. I look forward to coming back to have another burger and see what other goodies I can check out.

Since the beginning of December, we have heard them ask when they could come this year... and our grandson, now 5, said he wanted to do the lighted trolley. Unfortunately, our kids' family had a water leak that caused some turmoil in the schedule... and on New Year's Day, there was a question about whether or not the horses would be available because of weather... AMAZING communication from the company. UNBELIEVABLE empathy when we couldn't re-schedule, and an offer to do the carriage ride. This company now feels like part of the family as they understand the tradition they started just a year ago, but will continue for many years. Turns out the weather changed and we got to go on the trolley, got to take pictures by the horses, and have friends coming to Idaho to share in this experience if they are able. Grandad and Grammy's dream of the perfect new tradition in a new home! What a Christmas blessing this trip has become! Thank you, Clinton and family for making this a dream come true!
