We did the full tour. We had a good time on the tour. We would be interested in doing the night tour next time. Tip to future Zippers: 1. Absolutely bring bug spray. If not for the mosquitos, definitely for the wasps that are literally swarming every platform you will zip line too and from. And since there is no where to run too on the platforms to avoid the wasps-you best be prepared. 2. Bring your patience. The full tour is about 3 hours. We had a full group of 10 for our tour and its fair to say you spend 3/4 of the time waiting for the rest of the group to zip from one platform to another. There is quite a bit of opportunity to staff the tours better so this is less of an issue. 3. Try not to over think the process. One of our guides was really over exaggerating everything, so far as to say you get severe rope burn/whiplash from the green brake ropes if you don't grab them as you approach the platforms. This is definitely not the case. I could tell it made some newbies pretty nervous. But after your first zip line, you learn to relax and enjoy the ride- and quickly figure out which of the guides is full of it. ;) Happy Zipping! read more

Took my son to Zip Boise for his birthday, had a great time. The full tour includes a jump from the 6th tower that makes it worth the full tour price. To have the most amazing time make sure your zip tour guide is Cody, dude was absolutely hilarious. He made the zip tour outstanding and a great time. read more

DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY HERE. I was seriously injured on this zip line and I required immediate medical attention due to JESSICA not properly applying the brake on my zip line, causing me to crash into the wooden platform and injuring my back. I was coming down the zip line to the end of the platform, and JESSICA failed to apply the brake and I crashed into the wooden platform beam (tree trunk) at a dangerously high speed with my lower back absorbing the full impact (zip lines average speeds of 35-50 miles per hour) of the crash. I was hunched over in pain. I was offered no assistance from any of the staff, or should i say, the poorly-trained kids who operate this death trap and literally have your life in their hands. The friends I was with took me to the hospital to have my injuries treated. I spoke with the owner, Steve Gustafson, who was dismissive, defensive and unsympathetic to my injuries. He was quick to remind me that I signed a waiver and that "nothing is 100% safe". I was shocked by his lack and concern. He did not acknowledge that my injuries were caused by his employee's failure to perform her job duties. He called it a "less than optimal experience". Mr. Gustafson refused to address any of my questions regarding the safety procedures in place at Zip Boise and what, if any, training his staff receive in order to ensure they are capable of operating the zip line to be safe for customers to use. His attitude shows he IS NOT committed to customer safety. I escalated my experience and concerns to the Director of the Idaho Parks and Rec Department who are conducting an investigation on Zip Boise. This place is ran like a joke. I am from California and have zip in Hawaii and Catalina island. This one in Boise was so fun and the staff was great. We had Jessica, Ben and Katie. They were very patient with my aunt and her friends because it was there first time. It was worth the money. I highly recommend this place. There's just a lot of stair climbing.iu read more
