Came here recently to celebrate my nephew's birthday. This place is huge! I was expecting a mid-sized waterpark with a few slides and a large area for the kids to play, but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only does it have a massive waterpark with tons of slides and a wave pool, but there are also dry rides, arcades, and they're building even more slides. Very much a big fan of this really fun waterpark. Lots of great options from simple and safe to edgy and fun. There is something targeted for all ages and level of adventure. One of the highlights is their wave pool. Been in plenty of janky wave pools that barely create any undulance at all. RS' wave pool creates genuine waves and genuine fun. I feel you get way more food options than your average waterpark. Normally it's just cheeseburgers and pizza. At RS you'll also find chicken fingers, hot dogs, and tacos. Needless to say, ice cream and Dippin' Dots are served aplenty. The staff deserves a 5-star shout out all on their own. I think we've all experienced at least once before a staff of teens that are disinterested, inattentive, bored, or...teenagery, lol. I noticed every awesome teen at RS was the opposite. They were very talkative, playful, and funny with my kids. I thought about how important this is for kids who might be scared when they reach the summit of a slide and look down with second thoughts. The staff seems like they'd know to handle the situation with warmth and encouragement. My only wish is that RS had more family rides, in other words, more 4+ person raft rides. It was a busy day and we didn't ride everything, so I may have missed it, but it only seemed like there were two. If the park expands/builds more slides, I would hope they're family sized. read more

The staff was awesome, besides one guy that yelled at us for getting in the water like one second early, the rest of the staff was awesome, all of the slides were super fun, the food was a bit over priced, but other than that this park was awesome. The slides were super efficient and had fast moving lines, the longest we had to wait was like 25 minutes for the avalanche, but it was worth it. The drop slides were really fun to. read more

I can no longer recommend this business. For the few individuals that made our day here a little bit better I wish the rest of the workers were like you guys. First off. Arrived at 5 pm because online said they were open til 10pm. It was a bummer that when I checked with staff they said they close at 8 and that they were sorry for the website not updating. I didn't see signage that 4 of their main attraction slides were closed down. Second. They do not honor the 8$ off coupon on "already discounted fees" so for a little less than 3 hours it was still 63$ total. Lockers were 12$ for a small. Food was exorbitantly priced. The concession stand workers with the burgers were rude as hell to my wife. When I walked over after we placed the order the first thing the young man said to me was "did you need something?" Very rudely. I said I'm just waiting for my order. I do believe someone else took mine because a manager walked over and picked up that tray and walked away: 10 more minutes went by and so when my wife asked the gentleman about our order they claimed to never recieve it and then he tossed the patty down and said what did you want on it. I said lettuce and tomato then he said we don't have tomato were out. Ok. Since the 4 main slides were closed we decided to go sit down for a drink. 14-16$ per drink so we decided to skip. They don't have enough staff to run their 4 main attraction slides so they open up the least popular ones makes sense. I will not come back. Pizza shack closed 2 hours prior to park closing. Waste of money in my opinion. The only highlight was that my wife enjoyed the slides we went on though they also had the back and forth one in the back of the park closed. They wouldn't let us go on on slide with the tubes we had and the lifeguard made us go back down the steps to get to right colored ones. Even though they are all pretty much the same. read more

Do not be so geedy that you let the park get too full for people to actually enjoy the slides. Also, the two most exciting sliides were not operational. There was a confrontation between some people right by the staff exit/entrance and not one staff member tried to stop them. It almost got physical. This water park is way over priced for what you get. The food is absolutely horrible and overpriced. Some of the employees aren't very nice either. I get it if it's your summer job and you're tired of being around kids but it's all about the customer experience and I believe all employees should go above and beyond to make sure all guests enjoy their time here. A heartfelt thank you to the amazing lifeguards at Roaring Springs! When our 10-year-old almost fainted from heat exhaustion at the top of a slide, a caring lifeguard quickly attended to her. She seated her by the slide entrance, provided her with water, and offered her a shirt to use as a cold towel. Our daughter was then accompanied to the First Aid office, while another lifeguard was at our cabana to guide me to her. The compassion and generosity of everyone involved was so appreciated, especially going out of their way to make my daughter feel comfortable while she waited for family to get to her. Warning: This review is for the catered picnic area, not the general park. This is for those corporate event planners out there. I am very lucky to work for a company with locations across the U.S. and we try to take them all out to picnics every year or two. I "have" to go to these events to meet families and live it. Hands down this is now my favorite location of them all. Best park, staff, food, and venue. The park isn't small, but I wandered around beforehand and I would love to go on the rides. Later after they opened, I didn't notice any with crazy long lines or over attendance. The staff were all, universally pleasant, attentive and engaged. This must be a great place to work with solid leadership and management. The food ain't the best you will eat, but it was the best Park food I've had on many park visits for company picnics. Everything was well cooked. Even ribs that were tasty. The burgers and dogs were actually cooked. The baked beans were very flavorful. Not a fan of the cookie I tried, it wasn't I. The same class. All the rest was well above expectations. Best of all - I even saw a Quality Control person testing the temperature of the food on the buffet. I have NEVER seen that kind of care. Finally, I enjoyed the covered picnic area. Plenty of space, great shade and totally convenient for the employees arriving and the logistics to set up. read more

This was a fun adventure! I am not much for water slides and such entertainment, but I loved the lazy river and wave pool where I spent most of my day body surfing and floating. 'Twas lovely indeed! My siblings enjoyed the slides and other attractions as well! The desserts and such were a little expensive, and normally they don't allow you to bring in your own food or drink except for a water bottle. read more

This is a magical place for kiddos and a wonderful place for families to have fun. First time we visited was this year for my 7th year old birthday party we hosted with 15 people. So we rented a cabana and did it all in style. I, as a planing birthday parent enjoyed my time immensely. That's a lot. The wristbands included unlimited soft drinks and a meal so everyone was content. We loved it to so much I got us season pass tickets for the family for next year .planing to enjoy hot summers in here with joy. One thing that was not so great... the lazy river floor. It's crazy course and will peel your feet! Especially If you go 7 times in a row like my kids wanted to and walk it instead of floating it as intended, be ready for major bruising and peeling of your soles. My big toe took more than 2 weeks to heal. And I've heard from others the same story as well. So wear tight feeling water shoes (sandales just come off) or float it as intended. They have family restrooms that are CLEAN!! So unusual for water park. Super clean and the best part in this place. Is the super attentive and kind personal. The boy who was attending my little girls tube ride was the nicest, most patient young adult. It was so beautiful to see. Oh, food allergies. They don't like to talk about this openly and ask you to be discrete but if you have food allergy, just bring your own food in a non glass containers and it'll be fine. Mention it at the entrance when they search you. What else can I say? Have fun!!!! read more

The waterpark is absolutely bigger than any photo can do justice. And its still growing. The new lazy river addition with the wave simulator is completely new but so fun! The slides and the lines were quick, so dont them scare ya off! All the lifeguards and people working seemed to be very attentive and happy! This place is a must if your in the area!! Fun visit today, Thursday between 3-8pm. Lots of people arriving at 3pm for the $16 admission price. Parking lot was full so we used overfill parking in the dirt lot adjacent to the park. Inside, most seats were taken but some available. We got 4 shaded lounge chairs together by the wave pool so we were happy. Rides did not have long lines. It was busy in the park but not so much so that we couldn't ride what we wanted to. The food stands had mellow lines and the food was good. The selection is mostly burgers, chicken, pizza, and fries. Prices are fair for what you get. Five hours there was plenty. In that time frame we got to do everything, relax, and eat. read more

I have to pay half price of $47.99 +tax to just even chaperone my kids. We've been a season pass holder for last 3 years. This is the last time my kids are ever going to this place. The kids really enjoy Roaring Springs so do my out of state family members so we plan annual trips. In my opinion it is better to go at the end of May/Beginning of June. The weather is not as hot which as a result means a less bitchy me while dealing with three kids under 10. I also recommend skipping the discount times if you can and going early on one of these days instead. It makes a big difference. We went during the 3-8 1/2 off Thursday and I felt like we missed out on a lot versus going early on a Friday morning when the open. On Thursday they were really busy and we only went on a few rides. Also I've learned quick that the treasure valley is at its hottest around 3-8pm so keep that in mind. They also rush you out so be prepared for that. If you have older kids this time might be better for them. But if you have younger kids I reccommend going at 11 AM, packing your own lunch and you can eat at the tables outside (they'll stamp you) and leave around 6 and you will have gotten your moneys worth. read more

I thought I would treat my kids to roaring springs. With the discounted program I took advantage of it. Worst mistake of my life. I go on a tube with my daughter. I was told to get on the scale. Talk about public humiliation. I was told I was too fat... I lost it. Went to the office demanded my money back. They gave me a reciept for the refund. Still waiting for it. What a great place to take the family! They just redid their kids section 54' and under, they did an excellent job! I'd also like to add that every staff member I encountered or observed was kind and friendly. We spent two days here this past week with our granddaughter who lives out of state and enjoyed every minute. We were having a really good day, until we had to stand in line for an hour for a drink we wanted and when we got up to the counter to order they told us the ice cream machine was broke. They should have posted this, as that's why we stood in line for so long. Also in the lazy river they do not have enough tubes. We tried to do it twice and neither time could we get a tube. Other then that is was so much fun to have a day out with the family. We feel they post when rides are under maintenance, they should post when they are out of stuff. If we would have know before hand we wouldn't have been so disappointed. We decided to leave after the ice cream issue. Besides be a little tired, we were a little let down. Around 3-ish today on the Viper's Vortex I politely asked the life guard at the bottom if I could take a single riders tube that was next to him, instead of answering my questions he yells "oh my god have you not been listening me for the past 15 minutes what ever just take it", which I have, I just wanted to stick with my party. humiliating me in front of everyone. As the ride is over, I was scared this life guard would find another reason to himiluate me so i rushed to put the tube back and as I was walking off he was SHOUTING about how I make his job so much harder then it needs to be and causing a scene in the line everyone was staring at us. All over a simple question? Their is a difference between bad costumer service then just hiring straight up bullies. Definitely avoided that ride for the rest of the day, probably wont be coming back. Killed my vibe for the rest of the day. read more

I am from california and this water park just amazed my family and I with what they had to offer especially compared to where we go in our state. First off the food was very economical and unlike california did not empty your pockets for a hamburger or pizza. The food was pretty good as well! Some of the water features were also heated which is nice and the variety of water features was ample for the price we paid to get in. We did have some young children with us so it was especially nice to see they had a really large safe area for non swimmers and plenty of actual slides to go down for the kids to entertain themselves the whole time. I enjoyed the park very much and I would recommend this park... of course as long as the ambient temperature is above 85 degrees but that is true for any water park! Everyone seemed to be having a great time. Just a heads up for seniors who purchase a "spectator" ticket. You may not find shaded seating. 90% of the seating was reserved with someone's towel. This was a fun trip to Meridian Idaho! We went to Roaring Springs Waterpark! Lots of fun!! My favorite was the slides; Corkscrew Cavern and cliffhanger were my favorite!! Very scary at first but at the 10th time I got used to it!! Lifeguards were really good at keeping everybody safe social distancing was enforced! ( no masks but what can you say? The park is clean and the lifeguards are really nice when I ask dumb questions. The price of food and drinks are expensive, but that's normal for all amusement parks. Most complaints on Yelp is the lack of seating, which is true. To be fair, the people that come early get's the best seats. They are currently going through an expansion, so maybe they'll address the seating issues at that time. This place fills up fast, so pre-buy your tickets and skip the lines. This place is worth visiting, so plan to stop by on your next trip to the Boise area. Highly recommende. read more

LOVED IT. We went here in early June and felt safe, comfortable, and like we were back in the "normal" world. It was hot, the rides were super fun and refreshing, and it was a total blast for my entire family. We rented a cabana, which was very nice to provide a home base for our stuff. This was a pretty fun water park. Ive been to a lot of water parks, in all different states and this one was pretty average. I wouldn't say it had anything that really makes it stand out from any of the others I've been to, but it was a lot of fun, and it was very hot that day. One thing I did like, was that the wave pool allowed tubes (a lot of them don't) and the waves go for 10 minutes at a time. One thing I didn't like is that the lazy river is too shallow. I scraped my knees up pretty bad. Also the first half of the day there was not anywhere near enough tubes for the amount of people there were in the lazy river. There were so many people waiting for a loose tube to pop up that when it happened people were diving for it, just to have a chance to get it first. The river is shallow, and as an adult you can't really float around it without a tube, so that was kind of disappointing. Other than that is was a good time. read more
