Nice park with a fair amount of pedestrian only walking paths. In addition to the nature trails, there is an event center, public restrooms, picnic shelter, picnic tables, playground, basketball court, fishing pier, and of course the staging area for floating down the Boise river.
After walking through the park you can continue on the Bethine Church River Trail which is pedestrian only and goes well past the Park Center Bridge going west. There is a fee to park inside Barber Park during float season, but we always park for free over at Marianne Williams Park and walk from there. read more
