Aptly named, as it is located right by Borah High and Borah pool, this park is pretty centrally located in the Treasure Valley. The playground has two structures. A VERY tall one for older kids with tons of slides and climbing structures and then a smaller one for kids 2-5. There are 4 nice swings with padding underneath and 2 bucket swings. The best thing about this playground though is the merry go round!!! Apparently they haven't gotten the memo yet that kids love to fling themselves off and trample each other, so they haven't removed it yet. But it makes me feel so nostalgic... so I let the trampling happen. I guess I like to live on the wild side as a parent. Lol
This park also has a tiny splash pad. It's one of my favorites because it is entirely fenced in so I don't have to watch my kids like a hawk. We are usually the only ones there. It has fun little fountains and a tiny dump bucket, which doesn't drown my unobservant 4 year old as she stands underneath it.... over and over and over. She's surprised every time. :) read more
