The market runs every Tuesday from May 19 through September 29, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. I especially love coming here for the fresh fruits and veggies, locally handmade goods, and freshly baked bread. I'm also a huge fan of local honey and swear by its health benefits! Kingdom Sunrise Acres has a booth here, and I can honestly tell when I go without their honey because my allergies start acting up. I also love browsing all the cute shops and vendor booths. They make the entire experience feel like more than just a farmers market--it's a fun little Tuesday-night outing! There's plenty to enjoy beyond the market, too. Kindred on the Creek has an awesome happy hour and the cutest outdoor seating right along the Greenbelt. I enjoyed their Viognier, with its delicate aromas of honeysuckle and pear, along with their happy-hour charcuterie board--the perfect pairing for relaxing outside! The live music and bands give the whole area such a fun, lively energy, and there are outdoor fountains for the kids to run through. I also spotted a pizza place that I'd love to try while sitting outside at one of the picnic tables. And apparently, one of the nearby bars has $1 Jell-O shots! LOL--those might have to make it onto my Farm to Fork itinerary next time!

I had no idea how many lights they put up, and hadn't seen their new ice skating rink either. The downtown is just brimming with holiday cheer, colorful lights, and ice skating, even music. I guess I didn't fully understand the sheer volume of Christmas lights they put up, but it's enough that you have to walk all the way around and across the river to see it all! It's incredible, and they have some really cool "features" that I wasn't expecting to see. Such fun! It was raining when we went, but the combination of the people, places, lights, excitement, and the magic of all almost made the rain delightful. :) The whole experience brought me so much joy. I've been so stressed lately with all the holiday "stuff" that needs to be done that I forgot what the season was about. My visit to Indian Creek Plaza really brought things into focus for me...not just because of the lights, but because the lights serve as a reminder of the joy, the people, love, and time together is what really makes the holidays so special. Go visit. Take a friend, or your family, or both. Make an evening of it. Grab some coffee or a slice of pizza together, and explore the lights, the creek, and just enjoy each other's company.

It is easily accesible by a ramp down from SR 55 and there is a decent sized parking lot. The park has restrooms, a playground and several picnic tables and shelters. It seems ideal for fishing if that's something that appeals to you as the Snake River is well stocked with rainbow trout and largemouth bass. There were several toys that were broken, worn, or missing. Pieces of trash and small toy parts were on the floor. My toddler picked up a small piece of plastic off the floor and thankfully handed it to me instead of putting it in his mouth. Parents were not required to remove shoes in a lot of the play area, so kids were crawling and playing on a dirty floor. Several of the toys in the toddler section were visibly dirty. Overall, was bummed. They need to replace a lot of the toys and have staff walk the floor more often to check for small pieces of trash and broken toys. Staff was nice. We won't be back.

They use Brightweel where they tell you if they changed her diaper, they send you pictures, she naps comfortably, and they give your child plenty of snacks throughout the day along with breakfast (I drop her off early in the morning) and lunch! They go outside sometimes to play with chalk, plenty of toys to play with, they play out in the big main area, color, etc....and she is well taken care of. They ask about routines. And overall this has been an amazing experience and they watch your children as if they are your own! My daughter will snuggle up with them because she is comfortable and well taken care of. I use the flex day care because we don't need full time day care, only when my husband and I had to work at the same time! As a worried working mommy I am so blessed, grateful, and relieved I found this place! They are the best!!

Although last night (11/22/19) was their fab annual "big reveal night" I actually recommend to come any time after- as the crowds start to subside & thus it becomes much more accessible for those of us who prefer a more subdued noise level.
