Then he gives you a date and time, but can't do it when he promises. Then he drags you along for a couple of weeks, says he will work you in, then he ghosts you by not answering your calls. Meanwhile, your vehicle is getting worse waiting for the repair. There aren't many options in Key West, so I guess people just tolerate this. Definitely a new business model for me. I've run businesses for over 40 years. I can't imagine treating customers like this. He never worked on my car, so I cannot speak to the quality of his work. I won't be going back. I'd rather have a root canal.

My Story: I headed down to Key West for a quick day trip on Friday, December 23 (i.e. the holiday weekend and a time when we all want to get out of work early to spend time with our loved ones). Our car stopped running and we were in a bind! I called several auto repair shops at around 1:30/2:00 pm. Most of them were unavailable or unwilling to take on our job. Time was of the essence, since I had to return the car and catch a flight the next afternoon. Spoke with Max on the phone and he was super patient, friendly, and understanding. He explained that he wished I called 30 mins earlier, since he literally just wrapped up a holiday party they threw for his staff. The party had wrapped up and he sent his whole staff home. However he knew it was the holiday weekend, knew that I had never been to Key West before and would only have a little bit of time to enjoy it. So with that said he and the only other mechanic around decided to take our job on, even though they were supposed to head out themselves! They quoted me the best price I had heard, and let me know that they base their prices off of a more standardized, nationwide pricing system. So we get there and drop off the car, for a job that would clearly take several hours. In the meantime, we could have relaxed on their clean, comfy lounge area that has a large tv with a Roku, Netflix, etc. Instead, again because they knew it was our only chance to see Key West or maybe just out of the kindness of their hearts, they offered us a loaner car, free of charge. That way we were still able to head into town to explore, eat, and have fun! They finished the job, and were still patient and friendly with us, even though we didn't get back to their shop until late. I can't thank them enough! I still managed to have an amazing day, thanks in large part to them and their efforts!

I feel we got a fantastic deal on this one that they had already on the lot. It came with the upgraded batteries, premium seat, seats, premium wheels, and a few other upgrades. Do these employees at tires on location sit around smoking crack & shooting up on heroin every day?…read more I purchased an OEM customized, very expensive electric motor/wheel from a factory - It arrived wrapped in 2 layers of plastic so nothing would get scratched. I took it to Tires on Location to install a tire...they charged me $65(plus tip) (!!!) to install ONE TIRE! And EXACTLY AS THE LAST TWO POSTERS - THEY DESTROYED MY WHEEL! I own a tire changer - the ONLY way you scratch rims this way - - is if it is intentional, callous, or being inept. I think "Tires on Location" is all three.
