They arrived 2 hours later and then it was a total of 5 hours from the time they arrived to the time they "finished" to tell me there was nothing they could do. They took advantage of me. I was stranded with my babies and they knew I was desperate to get it done. The guy that came out was really nice, but I'm just frustrated after all of the wait and stress they couldn't do anything after they reassured me they could AND charged me like 120 for absolutely nothing. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I really do feel taken advantage of and I don't want that to happen to anyone else.

I highly recommend Gary from Bob's Lock, Safe, and Key!…read more Gary showed up promptly on the morning after Christmas to help me get into my new-to-me truck after the battery had been completely drained (my fault) and my sole key wouldn't turn the driver's door manual lock. Gary diagnosed the issue quickly, cut a new sturdy metal key to force the lock open (as a temporary workaround), thereby protecting my only key from potential damage, and he coordinated with their shop to order a replacement lock, the permanent fix for a known issue with my make & model, which I can have installed at their shop in a few days. Gary also jumped/charged my vehicle's battery for 10 minutes so it had enough power for him to program two new fob keys, at a very reasonable price, and he counseled me regarding how long it would take to fully charge my battery, both via highway driving and by A/C charger. Gary was courteous and professional throughout the entire process, and he answered all my questions in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, with bonus techno background music playing from his van throughout! Gary transformed a bad morning into temporary fix PLUS positive steps toward a permanent solution which will protect me from future lockouts! Just take a right at the "Karate" dojo and drive straight past the fence. Bilcos shares a parking lot with another business. (So the story. My car key had broken pretty much in half so I had ordered a new one, only to find that the metal key part could not be replaced. I placed the circuit in the new key and tried starting the car with the metal part of the old key, and the car wouldn't start! Apparently the ignition uses a magnetic field to detect the presence of the circuit. If it isn't detected, the fuel line in the fuel pump is cut.)
