Bed Over Heels Amazing B&B that sits at the base of Mt Zion National Park. We rented the "Master Suite" bedroom (#100) for two nights. This B&B actually comes with the long-forgotten second "B": BREAKFAST! The Good: *Ridiculously close to Zion; you could walk ±¾-mile to the visitor's center or less than ¼-mile from the #4 Desert Pearl Inn shuttle stop. This alone could potentially save you $20/day** if you have to park on the street to get shuttled into the Park. *The two-course sit-down breakfasts they serve here are legendary--and for good reason! Probably some of the best Eggs Benedict we've ever had! If you don't have time for the sit-down breakfast and are an early-riser let them know and they'll happily make you some breakfast burritos to-go. *The massage chair is friggin' legit! I now know what I want for Xmas... *WiFi speed was excellent--forgot to test it but trust me. It was muy bueno. *Large shower that also does steam; didn't test it. Too scared. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ *42" HDTv w/ Dish Network HD program & a DVR function! There's also some pre-saved movies on it, if you're interested. *The views from the room and accompanying patio were unbelievable. *Easily the most comfortable bed we slept in all week--even tho the pillows weren't my favorite. *The room itself is unbelievable. The décor, ambiance and location will have you pinching yourself trying to figure out if this is reality or a dream. *Ice machine w/ complimentary soda. *USB charging ports *Hot water and tea station always at the ready. *$175/night (including all applicable fees, taxes, etc. ) booked thru AirBnB The Meh: *So many remote controls, switches and buttons to operate all the fans, TVs, bed, lights, fans, fireplace, shower, etc that it feels very overwhelming and annoying when all you want to do is turn on the f**king lights--and not launch a space shuttle. :0) The Ugly: *If you're not a big dog person then maybe this this isn't the place for you. They have three large dogs on the premises and even if you only hear them you'll def *sniff* know that a dog lives close by. Personally, my favorite dog is someone else's, so these def fit the bill. :] TLDR: If you're planning on visiting Zion then book your room here ASAP! This place had everything you could want. The location had beautiful views of the mountains and is close to the park. The interior of the building is peaceful and welcoming after a long day of hiking. They have free soda with crushed ice and filtered water. The breakfast burrito to go was huge and perfect after an early day of hiking. Our room was comfortable with a nice shower. Everything was a little nicer than the other places we stayed at. The hosts were great and responded to any questions or requests. We got to taste figs from one of their trees. They were great by the way. Walking distance from Zion National Park! Or of course you can grab a shuttle that'll get you to the park in about 1 minute. This home is nestled nearly into the mountains & near the creek. It's also close to restaurants and shops. The location is awesome! What I enjoyed most are the special touches. This home was built by the owner with the purpose of being a bed & breakfast so each room has its own bathroom, balcony or patio and you can't hear what's going on anywhere other than your room. There's soft music playing throughout the house and everything blends into the natural elements around you. Massage chairs are waiting for you to use them. It was incredibly relaxing. I stayed in the Angels Landing room strictly for the pink bathtub! Yes, pink! The views were incredible and I had my own private balcony! Each reservation also comes with breakfast for each day of your stay. The food was phenomenal, check out my foodie pics. Here's something that really stood out for me about my stay here. The owner brought up French press coffee with cream & sugar for me super early in the morning and I enjoyed it in bed and woke up very slowly before I came down for breakfast. What a wonderful Bed and Breakfast! First - the location is incredible! So close to the National park entrance, walking distance to the great town amenities, yet you are tucked off the main road just enough to feel as though you were in your own private sanctuary! Second- the room we stayed in, the Master, was so relaxing and with all it has to offer we felt like we had a spa right in our room. The massage chair and steam shower (sauna) were the perfect treatment after a long day of hiking. Long detoxifying baths in the oversized tub were luxurious! We had plenty of floor room to do yoga each day and the views out all the windows really completed the whole rejuvenating experience. Third - the breakfasts were so beautiful and delicious. They really understand the importance of good presentation! The beautiful food doesn't just stop at the photos on the website, every meal is so thoughtfully prepared. The house recipe for their banana pecan waffles were heavenly with the local pecans. The host was always willing to accommodate any of our dietary needs too. Fourth and most important! - the family who runs this Bed and Breakfast are so genuine and caring. They have been in the area for years and know so much about Zion's trails and things to see, they know all the best restaurants and gave great recommendations. They were so easy to talk to and loved to help in any way. People really make a place and Justin, Mindy, Larry, and Liz truly make this place special! Zion Canyon B&B is an absolute delight! We were warmly greeted by Liz who easily answered all our questions to help us get started on our visit to Zion National Park. Our room (201) was ready and waiting for us. They had wine glasses and a bottle opener along with some mints on a try with our key. There was also a notebook with every bit of information you could imagine needing, including restaurant reviews and recommendations. Downstairs we were able to help ourselves to tea, hot chocolate, or fresh coffee, as well as soda, water, and ice in the little kitchen nook. The fresh ice and water was especially nice for filling our water bottles. There was also a microwave oven and complimentary packs of microwave popcorn. The room, and the entire home, are decorated beautifully with a southwestern theme. There was a refrigerator, full closet, TV (with Netflix), super comfy king bed, recliner chair, and plugs for all your electronics, plus a "white noise" machine, next to the bed. The room had a French door leading out to a deck with a gorgeous view of the mountains, complete with chairs, a table, and a lounger. We didn't spend a lot of time out there because of the March temperatures, but the stars that night were glorious. The home is just one block, a short 5-minute walk, to the nearest Zion Shuttle stop. At the end of our hiking day, we checked in with Liz to let her know our breakfast choices for the morning. We had a choice of breakfast burritos, egg breakfast, or fruit and granola. We then went to dinner in town at The Bit & Spur. We highly recommend them, although making a reservation the day before, or even earlier in the day, is strongly recommended. After a very tasty dinner, we were able to relax in the two massage chairs, located next to a few vintage (and working) pinball machines, in the alcove outside our room. Throughout our visit, there was beautiful native flute music playing. So relaxing. The bathroom was well-appointed, with a rain showerhead, shampoo, conditioner, & body-wash dispensers, and plenty of towels. I especially appreciated the heater. Breakfast was available to-go as early as 6:30am, but a sit-down breakfast was served at 8am. All four couples decided to enjoy our meals at the dining room table. My husband had the breakfast burrito, which was served with fresh fruit. The burrito was big enough to take half for the road. I had the eggs, scrambled perfectly, served with homestyle potatoes, toast, and fresh fruit. There was also French-pressed coffee and orange juice, and a variety of sauces and toppings offered. Liz was very attentive, and chatted with everyone, and we enjoyed hearing about everyone's travel adventures. Check-out was simple, the only difficulty being we didn't want to leave! We wholeheartedly recommend this gem for your stay in the Zion area, and we are looking forward to returning for a longer stay next time. read more

We had our wedding at Zion Canyon Bed and Breakfast and it was an amazing setting. We were able to get married with a great view of the Watchman, Justin and his family were super friendly to all of our guests (and their kids were a big hit) and we heard from the people that stayed there that the breakfasts were great in the morning. Conveniently located in downtown Springdale, it is pretty affordable as a place to see the park as well (and good for the Springdale shuttle). read more

Decorated with dusty artificial plants, horse collar, trunk, metal cactus, stuffed mountain lion, snowshoes, eagle wooden 3D wall art, driftwood lamp. Never did meet co-owner Larry, even though he was there. Upsides: Friendly people, especially Liz the owner and Mychal the caretaker. Cool and comfortable room even on 100 degree days in June. We had a wonderful time staying at the Zion Canyon Bed and Breakfast for six days. First and foremost the B&B is only 5 minutes from Zion National Park which was perfect for our hiking vacation. We had such a great time that I am actually writing this on the plane home. Our hosts Larry and Liz were extremely kind and helpful. We were greeted on our first evening by Liz and their well behaved dogs. The B&B is a large home with several guest bedrooms, along with en-suite bath's and large flat screen TVs with satellite. The mattress was a memory foam style and it was like your own bed, very comfortable. The B&B is tastefully decorated in a southwestern style with native artwork. There is a small kitchenette for guests near the front door on the first floor with ice, extra dishes, utensils, napkins, fresh cold water, sodas, and a microwave. There is a comfortable, large common room with big windows onto the mountain views. Our stay at the B&B included an excellent gourmet breakfast cooked by Larry every morning. Typically breakfast is served after 8 AM but Larry was kind enough to make our breakfast by 7 AM so we could get an early start to the park. We chose to have an omelette most mornings and it was full of fresh ingredients such as broccoli, tomatoes, mudroom, ham and feta with home fries. Breakfast was filling enough to keep us going on long hikes most of the day. The homemade Belgian waffle is also excellent. If you love coffee, you are served Kirkland coffee roasted by Starbucks in a French press which was quite good. In the common room every day there were fresh baked cookies, nuts, tea, and hot chocolate in a self service station. For us the dogs were a very welcome sight but don't worry if you don't like dogs, they were sweet and very well behaved. Larry and Liz also gave us great ideas for other parks to visit on our last day when the weather forced a change of plans. We are already planning our return trip next year to do some of the hikes we missed this year and we will plan once again to stay at the Zion Canyon Bed and Breakfast. read more

So, when my fellow travelers decided to go camping and being one with nature, I knew I had to book myself a bed and breakfast, because for me, this' the ultimate way to enjoy a vacation. Upon arrival, we stepped into this cozy Southwestern home, with tranquil music playing in the background and cool air conditioning, it felt so soothing especially after a long day of driving in the desert heat. I stayed at the The Hidden Canyon Room (approx. 400sqft. located on the second floor) has a taste of the southwest theme with two queen size beds, large closet, refrigerator, pillow-top mattresses, 20" TV with DHS player, wireless Internet, iron and board, alarm clock, private bathroom with the standard-size jetted tub/shower, blow dryer, single sink with good size counter space and also a large balcony for enjoying great view of Zion and gazing into the stars at night. Each morning. I was woken up by the aroma of home made breakfast,. First morning, we had a plate of fresh fruits(a slice of sweet and juicy cantaloupe and grapes), Baked French Toast stuffed with strawberry cream cheese, topped off with homemade fruit syrup, it had the perfect balance of the crunchy crust and soft gooey cream cheese filling, served with crispy strips of beacons on the side. Second morning we had granola with yogurt to start off, then baked vegetable fritata topped with fresh salsa, baked beacons and potato wedges on the side. The fritata(oven baked omelet) was baked perfectly, it was well seasoned and tender, but wished they would've hold back on the oregano, since it was a bit over powering. Fresh pressed Starbucks coffee, orange juice, milk and water are served with the entrees. The only set back for this place being a 5 stars was the shower, the water pressure was too low and the drainage didn't work too well, but other than that, I had a great stay at this cozy and reasonably priced B&B. read more

This B&B is located just outside the west entrance to Zion National Park in the town of Springdale. We stayed here a few weeks ago in The Narrows bedroom. It was quite spacious and we enjoyed the double-shower as well. Our room had a balcony where we could watch the sunrise or the sunset from. We also liked the fact that the sitting areas in the loft and downstairs were actually quite cozy and welcomed you to spend time out there as well. And the massage chair they provided a welcome relief after a day of hiking. Breakfasts were homemade and were some of the best food I've had at a B&B. We also were greeted each morning to a small Pomerian dog named Dixie who would sit on top of sofa -- the first morning I thought she was just some decoration until I saw her blink a few times! read more

Great sprays of Pier 1 room fragrance. Sanitary napkins and tampons available. Loved the heat in the bathroom on cool nights. Food: Delicious hearty breakfast Owners: Friendly and helpful with hiking and sightseeing suggestions. They have tons of travel books available. What a wonderful place to stay after a long day of exploring. The house was wonderful with a great view of the Watchman (I think). The grounds were beautiful and centrally located to downtown Springdale and restaurants, trolley and park entrance. We stayed in the Emerald Pools room, located on the main floor. The room was clean and comfortable, the king sized bed was extremely comfortable, adjustable and even had a massager for my legs. The family was very welcoming and helpful, breakfast was delicious and the dogs were an added bonus. The only negative I have is that we could only stay one night, wish we could've stayed longer. read more

We had the most phenomenal experience at this beautiful B&B 5 minutes away from Zion National Park! This place couldn't be better for an overnight near Zion national park. Larry and Liz are welcoming, warm, and their b & b is gorgeous and well maintained. I emailed and called liz because we arrived later than I anticipated (around 9:15) and she was kindly waiting for us when we finally pulled in. The property is beautiful, with lush gardens in the back and a natural backdrop of the rock so famously sprawled throughout the park and Utah. Our suite was deluxe (room 100) with a steam shower, jacuzzi, walk in closet, massage chair, king bed with a gorgeous woodworking headboard and footboard, and a private patio overlooking the canyon and garden. Breakfast was cooked by Larry and included a delicious homemade fruit tart, seasoned potatoes, a quiche, bacon, and French press coffee and juice. Liz handles the payment aspect and is a wonderful host. The place is a stone's throw from a shuttle pick up to the park. I couldn't be more pleased with my choice to stay here. I left a carful of things parked on their property as we hiked angel's landing (a harrowing but beautiful hike) and we continued our cross country trip from California to Maryland. There is another innkeeper named mychal who we didn't meet. They also have dogs who are well behaved and kept in their own quarters. Next time I am in Utah I will be sure and stay here! read more

Arriving after dark, it was a bit hard to see the road sign, at the end of 'the strip' that is Springdale, Utah. The inn is situated literally at the front door of Zion National Park and the backyard features giant red cliffs and the gorgeous aptly named Virgin River. The home is large, built somewhat recently with a southwest flair. Okay, I suppose flair is an understatement. It sits on Kokopelli Drive and you'd be hard pressed not to spot at least 10 iterations of the dancing flute player in and around the house. We were greeted by Michael, a tall, friendly man who appears to be the caretaker of the inn. As the only guests, we were pleased to have a quiet house, yet it soon became apparent that the family who owns of home (I assume), are present and sharing the living quarters. While friendly, they did not introduce themselves, so they just seemed like other guests who stayed behind a gated portion of the house. Of course, if you're B & B'ers this should not turn you off as you must like cordial encounters with strangers. Our room was the master suite, the biggest of the bunch and it is magnificent. Not only is it enormous, but it boasts a large private terrace with a view of the canyon, a large circle window that captures the same view, a large indoor jacuzzi tub and separate shower with steam function. There is a glass fireplace, a refrigerator and a giant flat screen television that would be a site unto itself if it wasn't dwarfed by the canyon view right beside it. Having said all of this, it must be noted that the decor is quite eclectic, including a showplace for taxidermy (there is a stuffed panther in the bathroom--for real). There are fake plants hanging off eaves and a ceramic lizard on the wall. So it's a bit, um, busy, but the bed is comfy and the room is huge. You'll awaken to the sound of birds and as I mentioned, a wonderful view. Breakfast is served promptly at 8:30, so there is no range in which you can choose to leave the comforts of your room. I've had some amazing breakfasts at B & B's and I'd say this one was above average--yogurt, granola and fresh fruit followed by banana, pecan (from the neighbor) belgian waffles, eggs and bacon. Coffee is french pressed and the OJ is fresh squeezed. It was a large meal to precede a day of hiking and since we're the only guests here until the weekend, we were invited to ignore the normal check out time of 11:00am. Our room is expensive ($170), so we would probably not stay in it again. We like Bed and Breakfasts, but honestly there are so many other nice, smaller, independent hotels with the same views in Springdale, it is unlikely we will return. Having said that, if you're a sucker for the B & B lifestyle, this is one to try at least once. Unless you despise Kokopelli. read more

My wife and I celebrated our 17 year anniversary last weekend and Zion Canyon B&B made it absolutely amazing for us. If it was possible to give more than 5 stars, we would. We cannot say enough good things about this amazing little hidden gem. Almost tempted not to share, so it's not booked up, but it would be a crime not to let everyone know about this place. The location is ideal for walking around town, as well as catching the shuttle to Zion Park. Upon recommendation, we walked to the Whiptail to grab lunch and had great tacos. We stayed in the Master and it was very tranquil. The massage chair was amazing after a long day of hiking and the steam shower is an absolute must. Looking into putting one in our home. The private outdoor deck is the icing on the cake. It overlooks the property and the mountains and is nothing short of spectacular. You're free to walk around the property, play with the friendliest dogs you'll ever meet, pet Betty, the potbelly pig and talk to the duck as you take in the beautiful mountain views. You can smell a yummy breakfast being prepared in the morning and it does not disappoint. We shared our hiking stories with other guests over Belgian waffles and had an amazing meal. What a great start to our day! Liz and her family really put a lot of love into making each stay memorable and it shows. The property is stunning and the views are breathtaking. So cute. The whole place. The garden is so relaxing. You can enjoy it on the patio, too! The breakfast there was easily the best meal we had over our weekend trip to Utah. Homemade Rosemary bread with salsa, pesto, and eggs cooked in it. Bacon. Noms. The host, Liz, is very welcoming, and they have two obedient and adorable dogs. I enjoy B&B's and this one did not disappoint. It is welcoming, comfortable and conveniently located. My stay was expertly hosted by owners Larry and Liz. Their well-behaved dogs, Echo & Aspen, played co-hosts. The place houses an interesting collection of antiques (his) and American Indian items (hers) inside and out. A hearty breakfast, fresh OJ and French press coffee kick starts the day. At the end of a full day it was great to find self-serve hot beverages, assorted snacks and homemade cookies. There's also a utility room with a microwave oven, ice maker, ziploc bags and paper goods. I shared the Canyon Room with a friend. There are 2 Queen beds and plenty of drawers and closet space. It was her first time ever to a B&B and she loved it. We both loved it! read more

Looks like no one has a later in the season review here for the 2015 season. We enjoyed a one night stay here in mid October as part of a week long circle through Utah parks. This was our last night and we certainly saved the best for last after a week of other B and B's as well as some mom and pop old school motels on the by-ways of rural Utah. Agreed with the comments by others. A fabulous house/nome that is filled with a wide variety of great decorating to go with a well thought out and eye toward lots of details in the construction. The very generous breakfast will get you along for a day of whatever adventures or travels you have in mind for the day. Only regret was not having enough time to enjoy the grounds and just hang out and take in the views from the deck, patio or other outside spaces. Would imagine this holds true for much of Springdale. It was nice to park the car in the their lot and walk to the shuttles into the park as well as a good dinner at Whiptail. A great stop. Hope we can make it back again! read more

Wonderful comfortable place to stay while visiting Zion. It is near shuttle stop #4 and a quick ride to the entrance of Zion. We stayed for 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is right off the main road into Springdale and you can easily miss the sign. The breakfasts are exquisite and the interior is lovely and inviting. We stayed in the Angels Landing room on the second floor adjacent to the massage chairs and mid-70s electro-mechanical Gottlieb pinball machines. Our room had a wonderful view of the Watchman rock formation and the heating and air conditioning worked perfectly. The room does have its quirks - such as the toilet area inside a sliding glass "closet" and there is no regular tub. There is a huge whirlpool tub with a shower attachment. However, turning the hot water knob off was difficult and required extraordinary effort. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff is welcoming and very friendly. We highly recommend this to our friends and family. Probably the best B&B that we have ever stayed in. read more

My mom and I stayed here a few weeks ago on the Zion leg of our National Parks tour, and we just loved it. We stayed in the Narrows room, which was lovely and cozy. The view from our patio was terrific (I've uploaded a photo), and we enjoyed sitting out there with a glass of wine after a long day of hiking and exploring. Also lovely after a long day of hiking and exploring was the massage chair! If you've sat in one of the chairs at a mall Brookstone store, you know what I'm talking about when I say this is one of the good ones. I spent about half an hour in that chair every night, relaxing while I made my phone call home to my boyfriend. It was pretty delightful! My mom and I also commented on how soundproof the rooms were - the B&B was full the whole time we were there, but we never heard a peep from any of the other guests in the rooms around us. And then there was the food. Oh my gosh, those breakfasts were delicious. I uploaded some pics of our one breakfast, but each of the three we had there were wonderful. Mychael, the B&B caretaker, explained what was in each dish each morning. Also, if you're a coffee drinker, we all got our own individual coffee presses. It was just a really nice way to start the day. I really recommend this place - from what my mom said, it was really reasonably priced, and we were absolutely delighted with our stay there. read more

By far this is the most comfortable place that we have had in Zion. The place is beautifully decorated with colour and Indian pottery and statues. We had a phenomenal stay at Zion Canyon B&B. I gave a "winter" Zion trip to my husband for our Valentine's Day anniversary gift. We arrived in early December as the tourist season ended. We were immediately were delighted, Liz and Larry were perfect hosts. The B&B is fabulous. The home is an eclectic mix of antiques and southwestern pieces. It is as beautiful as it cozy and inviting. Everywhere I looked, there was a piece that was so wonderful that I wanted it for my own home. The Master Bedroom was amazing. The bed was comfortable. The room was HUGE and the views were incredible. We even had a lovely balcony/patio. Breakfasts were delicious and filling, a gourmet's delight. Our stay was for 3 days and we wanted to stay longer. We even got to see Springdale's Community Christmas Parade when we walked to the end of the B&B's driveway. It was awesome and so heartwarming to see the residents have so much fun! Reminded me of the small town that I grew up in. I see that other reviewers give this amazing B&B high marks, but my opinion of Zion B&B is off the charts INCREDIBLE. It was the BEST stay in Utah I have EVER had. It is the best kept secret... Hope there is room at the inn (wink) when we return. Yep, I'd agree. Fantastic. Stayed in the master suite two nights and had a blast. Great room. Fantastic location. Loved the hot tub and the steam shower. Food was great. The only small complaint is that the owners never really introduced themselves to us. They were friendly but not super outgoing friendly, as I would expect that if you were staying in their home... like "Welcome, my name is so and so, what's yours?" But they were kind enough and everything else was perfect. read more

This place is a true oasis. The owners were wonderful and went out of their way to accommodate us. Breakfast is usually at 8am but because we wanted to get to the park earlier, they served us ours at 7 and put the rest of our gourmet homemade waffle in sandwich bags for our hike. This bed & breakfast is tremendous. We stayed here in early May in the master room and it could not have been better! The hosts are very kind and accomodating. It is set back from the road slightly and is at the foot of the Watchman, a several thousand foot high slab of redrock. From the house you can watch the sun set on the mountains and sip on wine. The entire house is well furnished and comfortable. Earlier reviews mentioning difficulties with water pressure weren't noticed. Our bathroom was complete with a double headed shower, steam shower, and jacuzzi. The only available room for us was the master room which was gorgeous. Breakfast matched the 5 star rating which was deserved in all other categories. They have 8 different menu's and rotate through these. When in town, Zion is fantastic. You can catch the shuttle from just 150 yards up the road and dont even have to drive into the park. The best place for dinner in town is also only about 200 yards up the road, named Whiptail Grill. Highly recommended, despite its humble appearance. read more

I stayed in the master sweet and would highly recommend anyone do the same. It's great value, especially compared to the rates for other places around here. The view, jacuzzi, steam shower, and massage chair are only rivalled by the comfort of the bed and the nice patio. The owners are very nice and friendly. read more

GREAT place, would love to go back. 1) Accommodations were very comfortable, clean, cozy. The Zion Canyon B&B has perfectly appointed rooms with great views. The service was friendly and the accommodations were great from homey feel to the amazing massage chair to the gourmet breakfasts. Even the grounds were beautiful. It's conveniently located adjacent to the entry to Zion National Park. Also it was in walking distance to several nice places to eat and a very good place to get great coffee. Looking forward to staying there again. read more
