Bed Over Heels Amazing B&B that sits at the base of Mt Zion National Park. We rented the "Master Suite" bedroom (#100) for two nights. This B&B actually comes with the long-forgotten second "B": BREAKFAST! The Good: *Ridiculously close to Zion; you could walk ±¾-mile to the visitor's center or less than ¼-mile from the #4 Desert Pearl Inn shuttle stop. This alone could potentially save you $20/day** if you have to park on the street to get shuttled into the Park. *The two-course sit-down breakfasts they serve here are legendary--and for good reason! Probably some of the best Eggs Benedict we've ever had! If you don't have time for the sit-down breakfast and are an early-riser let them know and they'll happily make you some breakfast burritos to-go. *The massage chair is friggin' legit! I now know what I want for Xmas... *WiFi speed was excellent--forgot to test it but trust me. It was muy bueno. *Large shower that also does steam; didn't test it. Too scared. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ *42" HDTv w/ Dish Network HD program & a DVR function! There's also some pre-saved movies on it, if you're interested. *The views from the room and accompanying patio were unbelievable. *Easily the most comfortable bed we slept in all week--even tho the pillows weren't my favorite. *The room itself is unbelievable. The décor, ambiance and location will have you pinching yourself trying to figure out if this is reality or a dream. *Ice machine w/ complimentary soda. *USB charging ports *Hot water and tea station always at the ready. *$175/night (including all applicable fees, taxes, etc. ) booked thru AirBnB The Meh: *So many remote controls, switches and buttons to operate all the fans, TVs, bed, lights, fans, fireplace, shower, etc that it feels very overwhelming and annoying when all you want to do is turn on the f**king lights--and not launch a space shuttle. :0) The Ugly: *If you're not a big dog person then maybe this this isn't the place for you. They have three large dogs on the premises and even if you only hear them you'll def *sniff* know that a dog lives close by. Personally, my favorite dog is someone else's, so these def fit the bill. :] TLDR: If you're planning on visiting Zion then book your room here ASAP! You won't regret it. **Parking at the Visitor's Center is free (w/ paid entrance) but extremely difficult to come-by at certain times of the day.¤

This place had everything you could want. The location had beautiful views of the mountains and is close to the park. The interior of the building is peaceful and welcoming after a long day of hiking. They have free soda with crushed ice and filtered water. The breakfast burrito to go was huge and perfect after an early day of hiking. Our room was comfortable with a nice shower. Everything was a little nicer than the other places we stayed at. The hosts were great and responded to any questions or requests. We got to taste figs from one of their trees. They were great by the way. Altogether it was a great ending to our Utah hiking trip.

Nestled all the way to the mountains. Chickens roaming freely. Serenity...

Walking distance from Zion National Park! Or of course you can grab a shuttle that'll get you to the park in about 1 minute. This home is nestled nearly into the mountains & near the creek. It's also close to restaurants and shops. The location is awesome! What I enjoyed most are the special touches. This home was built by the owner with the purpose of being a bed & breakfast so each room has its own bathroom, balcony or patio and you can't hear what's going on anywhere other than your room. There's soft music playing throughout the house and everything blends into the natural elements around you. Massage chairs are waiting for you to use them. It was incredibly relaxing. I stayed in the Angels Landing room strictly for the pink bathtub! Yes, pink! The views were incredible and I had my own private balcony! Each reservation also comes with breakfast for each day of your stay. The food was phenomenal, check out my foodie pics. Here's something that really stood out for me about my stay here. The owner brought up French press coffee with cream & sugar for me super early in the morning and I enjoyed it in bed and woke up very slowly before I came down for breakfast. It's the little things that are actually BIG things in my book... Thank you to the owners who are warm & charming!

Whenever traveling, the two most important things to me are: Nice accommodations and great foods! So, when my fellow travelers decided to go camping and being one with nature, I knew I had to book myself a bed and breakfast, because for me, this' the ultimate way to enjoy a vacation. Upon arrival, we stepped into this cozy Southwestern home, with tranquil music playing in the background and cool air conditioning, it felt so soothing especially after a long day of driving in the desert heat. I stayed at the The Hidden Canyon Room (approx. 400sqft. located on the second floor) has a taste of the southwest theme with two queen size beds, large closet, refrigerator, pillow-top mattresses, 20" TV with DHS player, wireless Internet, iron and board, alarm clock, private bathroom with the standard-size jetted tub/shower, blow dryer, single sink with good size counter space and also a large balcony for enjoying great view of Zion and gazing into the stars at night. Each morning. I was woken up by the aroma of home made breakfast,. First morning, we had a plate of fresh fruits(a slice of sweet and juicy cantaloupe and grapes), Baked French Toast stuffed with strawberry cream cheese, topped off with homemade fruit syrup, it had the perfect balance of the crunchy crust and soft gooey cream cheese filling, served with crispy strips of beacons on the side. Second morning we had granola with yogurt to start off, then baked vegetable fritata topped with fresh salsa, baked beacons and potato wedges on the side. The fritata(oven baked omelet) was baked perfectly, it was well seasoned and tender, but wished they would've hold back on the oregano, since it was a bit over powering. Fresh pressed Starbucks coffee, orange juice, milk and water are served with the entrees. The only set back for this place being a 5 stars was the shower, the water pressure was too low and the drainage didn't work too well, but other than that, I had a great stay at this cozy and reasonably priced B&B.

    View from my room balcony

This was a beautiful spot, the rooms were great, beds were very comfortable, loved the rainfall shower!! The view from my room balcony has got to be one of the top views around. Now the hosts were the very best, breakfasts hands down you can out cook the best chefs!!! I will definitely recommend and come back!!

You can message them directly on AirBnB but honestly I don't see why they couldn't. They cook all their meals in-house so really shouldn't be an issue as long as they're prepared before your arrival. Have fun and enjoy the massage chair!

We could've stayed at one of the local popular hotels, such as La Quinta or the Holiday Inn, but who wants any of those stuffy, corporate hotel rooms when you can have this type of custom experience? The owners of the Inn live on the same property and they were always readily available when I called to speak with them. It's called the Novel House Inn because every single room is dedicated to a particular famous author. Therefore, every room is themed in that authors' famous manuscript. We had a room upstairs in honor of Robert Louis Stevenson, who wrote, 'Treasure Island,' so the entire room had little sailors and the author's published works. We loved it because it felt so cozy and it was very clean considering that they do not have a full staff waiting on you hand and foot to maintain the property. I wish we could stayed here longer just to soak in all the little details of the property, including a guest lounge with dining tables and coffee freshly brewed every morning, a library with plenty of books, and a chess set. The owner also provides you with vouchers to a free breakfast(s) at a place called Oscar's Café, which is about a 10 minute walk from the Inn. My husband and I both had our meals and drinks for free. That was the best free breakfast I had ever had!!!!!! The shuttle into Zion National Park is the #5 and it's located right across from the Inn. You have to wear masks on the shuttles; however, it's free to ride them. The ONLY downside is that there is no elevator here. People with physical disabilities, or if they're in a wheelchair, or (frail) elderly, would need to book a room on the first floor. Try not to pack much too for the night because you will be lugging your own suitcases up a flight of stairs.

At 500 sq. ft, it feels spacious and serene, with a sitting area over looking the river below, blackout drapes, soaking tub, seperate walk-in shower, pillow-top mattress, workplace, and a 55" TV that my man really appreciates. But the best part is the large private balcony with seating and a direct view of The Watchman, one of Zion's most iconic peaks. Sunrises and sunsets from here are epic. Your stay includes, wifi, parking, year-round access to the outdoor pools and hot tubs, fire pits, fitness center, bathrobes and slippers, ac/heat, coffee maker, mini-fridge, and fresh coffee each morning near the lobby. On-site you'll also find a restaurant by the name of Anthera, and a spa, both of which I recommend. With 53 rooms, the property doesn't feel like just another standard hotel. What truly sets it apart though, is what lies just behind it, the lush riverside gardens. Ending your day sitting by the river, listening to the water move past as your thoughts quiet and your whole body softens. In the morning expect to see a lot of deer grazing in the grass areas. It's genuinely spellbinding. If the restaurant on property doesn't interest you there are other walkable options nearby and this property does not allow pets. Our room was on the ground floor with two queen beds, a beautiful view across the parking lot of the red rocks and easy access to and from the parking lot (which was much appreciated since it was super cold and started to flurry overnight and into the next day). The room itself was spacious and clean, the fridge worked really well (almost TOO well - it froze our drinks!), everything was well stocked. We utilized the jacuzzi one evening despite it being in the 30s, which was clean and relaxing after a long day of travel and hiking around. The only drawback we experienced during our stay was regarding the breakfast situations during the two mornings we were there. Apparently there was an emergency floor repair in the kitchen which meant they were unable to access it to prepare the continental spread that Hampton Inn is so well-known for. Instead, each morning there were stacks of brown takeaway boxes pre-filled with different food selections, which were displayed at the front of the dining room, but the boxes were not clearly marked so people were having to open them to examine the contents of each box. The staff members were absolutely not to blame - they were running around the dining room constantly, checking on guests and seeing what they could bring out from the back to ensure everyone had what they wanted and needed. For kids, they were running back and finding cold cereal, juices, etc. If there was a vegetarian, they were finding options (i.e. frozen potato and egg breakfast burritos) for them, too. They had brought in extra microwaves to accommodate everyone having to warm their own food. I heard a few guests grumbling but the staff remained warm and friendly. One staff member in particular, Annette, deserves special recognition. She was answering everyone's questions, letting them know the repair was unfortunately expected to take 3 weeks, and that they were only 2 days into their new "routine" so they only expected it to get better and run smoother as they got into their rhythm. When our 6-year-old decided she didn't like anything on offer one of the mornings and was getting antsy, Annette walked her over to the front desk and let her pick out a coloring book to keep her occupied while mom and dad finished their breakfasts. Thank you, Annette, for helping us keep our sanity! Overall, you just can't beat the value for the price, the proximity to the Park and everything else there is to see in Springdale and Zion. We had a wonderful stay here and would absolutely stay again.
