Please don't give these charlatans your hard earned money. Just over two weeks ago my mother's neighbor had a massive oak tree cut down. Zion dropped part of the tree in my mom's yard without permission, which I can understand may have been necessary for safety reasons, but they left at least half of the tree on her property and have not responded to any of her calls to remove it. They completely destroyed 3 of the trees she planted last year, crushed a flowering shrub, rutted up the yard, and now the wood they left has killed the grass. My mother is a senior on a fixed income and can't afford to hire someone to cut up and remove the logs, and she shouldn't have to! Last Wednesday I called Zion to find out what the hold up was, I was told by the secretary that she had received my mother's voicemails, but hadn't called because she didn't know when they'd be back to clean up, but she thought it would either be that Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Well, that was over a week ago and they haven't been back, nor have they called. I spoke to the neighbor who's tree they cut down and he said that he had contacted them repeatedly to come complete the job that they were paid to do and wasn't having any luck either. All of this is completely unacceptable and unprofessional!! My poor mom is upset and I'm absolutely furious and at a loss as what to do next, do I call the police, do I call a lawyer, do I file a civil suit? All of these things (except for police) cost money, and it's money I shouldn't have to spend. I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a company to completely finish the job that they were paid to do and fix any damage they caused. read more
