We have been using Zimmerman landscaping since we moved to Hillsborough 3.5 years ago. Not only, does he do wonderful work with mowing and lawn maintenance, but we had drainage issues that were quickly and seamlessly fixed by Zimmerman landscaping. Dave has also helped us improve the curb appeal of our home by adding nice touches such as stone, and beautiful plants. He is great at coming up with ideas to help us achieve a beautiful front and back yard! Our yard was also extremely slanted and he helped us level it in order to have a play set safely put in for our daughter. In the winter Dave plows and shovels our drive and walkways. I highly recommend this company for all your landscaping needs! read more

If I could give a negative rating for Dave Zimmerman I would do it. This man has strung me along for over two years. I loved the vision he did for me. Then whoops, Covid. Call me back please his minions said in the middle of 2021. We will be happy to get back to you. Not one of those chirpy idiots has ever called me back to update my original quote though I have been calling them and texting Dave for the last nine months. He finally answered me and basically called me an idiot saying leave me alone, we have replied to you. I Have proof on my texts begging him to reply he never did. Dave will only reply to you if your landscaping quote is very expensive. He could care less now about those who probably built up his business. I should never, ever, ever, be treated like a lesser customer. Dave, if you don't want my business have the common courtesy to call me back. Which you never did. I don't care if you don't want my business. Just at least reply and don't have your chirpy minions telling me that "you are a priority customer, we understand, we have put you in front of the line for Dave to answer." Which you never once did except in your insulting texts. You are an insult to capitalism. Just to make sure your potential customers understand, my Yelp account may reflect Bayville, NJ. That was my summer house. I live in Somerville NJ. The replies from Dave on his texts were just plain nasty. I don't care how good your work is, no business manager should ever insult potential customers like you insulted me. If you are middle class, forget about using Zimmerman Landscaping. I cannot express enough how pleased I am with the landscaping services provided by Dave Zimmerman and his hard-working team! He completely transformed my back yard into something that I am now extremely proud to show off and enjoy! I showed him pictures of what I was looking to do, we discussed options, he came up with a plan, and he exceeded my expectations (by far!) I never imagined that my small back yard space could appear so much larger with creative designs, beautiful stepping stones, expanded patio, and a lovely corner garden with a wooden bench where I will spend hours enjoying the shade with my dogs year round! I am equally pleased with the front yard landscaping and how he opened up my whole front yard and porch by removing large trees and placing well chosen shrubs and plants. The quality of work as well as the level of service provided is excellent. Dave and his crew are truly exceptional at what they do and they truly care about their customers. Zimmerman Landscaping has been our landscaper since we moved into our house nearly three years ago.
