Concrete Chiropractor Concrete Leveling & Mudjacking

I had a sagging driveway apron that was two inches below the curb. Every time I would pull into my…read moredriveway, all the neighbors would know I came home from the sound my car made as it scraped against the angled apron. I asked a local concrete repairman to assess it, and he told me it would require permits, a few days of digging and ultimately lifting the apron. It was not a cheap job. After looking online, I decided to give Concrete Chiropractor a call, expecting an expensive quote, given their well-known name. Kris got back to me promptly, asked me to send him some photos, and he quoted me online. The quote was less than half of the other guys. They came, and a few hours later were gone. The two inch sagging was gone, and the apron was flush with the curb. My car no longer scrapes against the concrete, and if you didn't know, you wouldn't be able to tell anything was repaired. If you have sagging concrete issues, don't waste your time...call them! I wish I could find professionals like them for other things around the house!

He is extremely knowledgeable and offered me so much valuable advice about the damp basement issue at my house. His pricing is very fair and reasonable. If I could rate this fabulous company 10 stars out of 5, I would. I highly recommend Concrete Chiropractor! (¯`'*.¸(¯`'*.¸(¯`'*.¸F A N T A S T I C¸.*'´¯)¸.*'´¯)¸.*'´¯)

Wow! - what a complete and beautiful job TSD did for me…read more I have an above average size driveway and it has been time to 'redo' it for a couple of years now. It was asphalt, and we decided to go with cement as it's better/lasts longer, although more costly. Additionally, some 20 years ago my road was regraded and lowered over a foot and a half in front of my driveway. Since that time, contractors with box trucks scraped my driveway when they used it, and I was always trying to fix it with patch (which of course never worked and I just ended up wasting my time and money). I hired TSD last month to remove my old asphalt driveway, regrade/fix the bottom and pour concrete. I had no idea just how much work this was, i.e.: When they removed the asphalt, they also had to remove the underlying stone and another few inches of dirt, then they put down 4 inches of stone. Additionally, they removed the bottom 20 feet of Belgium block and cut all the footings back on the rest of the block that was good. They then laid out the joints and poured 6 inches of cement in non-adjacent blocks over a couple of weeks (again, my driveway is above average in size, thus it took time to complete all the pours). I have to comment on the TSD masons, as I am one of those homeowners who 'inspects' as any contractor is doing work for me. These guys are perfectionists and truly do a wonderful job. They insured that each block that was poured was flat, but also graded correctly so the water would flow away from my house and down the driveway. I now no longer have any 'ponds' like I had with my asphalt driveway. Once, one of the joints slipped after the cement was poured, and they pulled the cement back and reset the joint so that the block's grade was perfect. Then rather than broom the finish, they sponged it, which made for a fantastic looking finish. I can't say enough about the quality of work the TDS masons did on my driveway. After they completed my driveway pours, they cleaned up, put down topsoil as need and reseeded, and sealed it my driveway. Overall, I am extremely pleased with TSD, and the quality of their work. It was well worth the extra money I paid to have my driveway redone in cement vs. asphalt. Also, the new grade appears to have fixed all the issues I had, as the bottom is now lower and the grade is much more gradual. If you are thinking of having masonry work done, I would recommend you call TSD and get visit/quote from them.

They were going around the neighborhood, knocking on doors and offering their services. But the things they promised didn't really happen. I hired them to do some masonry work on my house, and it cost me a lot - thousands of dollars. But the work they did wasn't very good. Before long, I saw weeds growing where they had done the work. And no matter how many times I called them, they just kept lying and avoiding the problem. It's really frustrating that they weren't honest and didn't take responsibility. It feels like they didn't just waste my money, but also my time. Honestly, it would've been better to just throw my money in the water instead of giving it to them. So, I wouldn't recommend using their services. I learned a tough lesson, and I hope others can avoid being disappointed like I was.

Mine needed this service, so we agreed on a price and they applied the product to our driveway. After the product dried, I noticed that spots were missed. I called the number on the card, and the person who answered said he would be there to fix the problem within 5 days. When they didn't show, I called again. He asked me about the team who did the work, and I described who they were. He knew this team. Again, he said he would send someone to fix this issue, and no one showed. I would not recommend this organization for these reasons. They were more expensive than who I normally hire to do this work (they claimed they used better quality driveway sealer), the work was sub-standard, and the person who answered there phone calls was untruthful.

I was never rushed or meant to feel pressured to e-sign on the dotted line in any way. Everyone was great starting with Sunny to Linda & Katie in the home office who took care of all scheduling and notifications, Field Supervisor, Ray, who put my mind at ease when I had a million questions and finally Ramon, Aldrin & Joel who exceeded my expectations to insure the arduous back-breaking work over a 3 day period was perfect and on-point. Everyone treated my house and this project as their own so for that, I am forever grateful to this entire team. No detail was too small or problematic. I will definitely be recommending Groundworks and their phenomenal team to all my family, friends and neighbors. Thanks so much!

Unprofessional, Unreliable, and Disrespectful of Customers' Time…read more I scheduled an appointment with this company and took an entire day off from work specifically to accommodate their visit. On top of that, I spent an additional entire weekend preparing everything for their arrival so the work could be completed as scheduled. Day of work was confirmed. At 8:00 a.m. on the morning they were supposed to arrive, they canceled the appointment. Not days in advance. Not even the night before. They waited until the morning of the scheduled appointment to inform me they wouldn't be coming. They followed up with 3 variable stories from being overbooked to an ER visit for reasons why they cancelled. I lost day of work, an entire weekend of preparation wasted, and absolutely nothing accomplished. Canceling an appointment at 8:00 a.m. might be convenient for them, but it's incredibly disrespectful to customers who have rearranged their lives and invested considerable time preparing. It's a complete lack of professionalism and total waste of my time. Take your business elsewhere. Find a company that values your time, honors its commitments, and understands that professionalism means more than simply putting a date on a calendar.
