It took a little longer than expected for anyone to greet us--likely because the staff seemed short-handed and were juggling a steady line of customers. We tried the ginger snap bites from the display case on the counter. I'm not sure we knew what we were getting because the labeling wasn't very clear. The texture was unexpectedly mushy and not very ginger flavored so we wondered if we were given the snickerdoodle balls instead as the labels were on top of each other. The Med Salad had good flavors overall but the croutons were so hard they were almost inedible and there was an overwhelming amount of anise in it which caught me off guard. The bone broth was the biggest disappointment; it lacked depth and tasted more like an old bouillon cube than a fresh and rich broth. On a positive note, my friend's chopped peanut salad looked fresh and well-composed, so there are definitely bright spots on the menu. In the end, it wasn't a terrible experience--just not one that stood out in the way we hoped. With some tweaks in execution and clearer communication on menu items, it could easily be much better. Will plan to try a smoothy or avocado toast next time.

Yes everything feels quite pricey (especially the smoothies) but the quality is excellent. Service is friendly. Seats are inside the eatery as well as on the patio. Love the healthy vibes and would come back!

I love the fact that they have so many sugar free syrup options. Last time I wanted a nondairy, sugar free 'fireside latte' but they didn't have the sugar free toasted marshmallow syrup in stock, so the barista suggested another flavor which I cannot remember now since it's been a few weeks but it was a perfect option (maybe SF s'mores?) and made one of the best lattes I've had. They also bring the coffee right to your table which I think is very nice. I will definitely keep coming back here.

We drove all the way from Denver for breakfast, only to find a limited range of options. Ziggi's used to be well known for taking good care of guests with allergies, but not anymore. Where are all of the gluten free and nondairy items? We were sold a gluten free cake that turned out to have wheat in it. And I ordered two Americanos with extra room, but instead received the drinks with extra cream. The barista seemed annoyed when I asked for it to be fixed, even though it was her error. Sorry Ziggi's, you've lost a few customers.

YUM!! The Corner…read moreBeet is definitely going to be a regular haunt for me, I was truly impressed by this one. Stopped by with a friend this weekend and ordered the BLAT. As a bacon lover, this sandwich felt like home. I was really pleased they opt for a savory tofu as the protein option on this sandwich, as I prefer tofu to tempeh for all reasons. Each food item on their vegetarian and plant-forward menu comes with a side salad dressed in this incredible, light vinaigrette. I dream of that dressing. Top it off with delicious beverage options, and a welcoming and sunlight-drenched interior, ugh! Love this spot. I'll be back soon!

I had the Thai peanut salad, which was incredibly bland. The sauce/dressing was scanty and barely tasted like anything -- I didn't taste peanuts really and definitely no hint of curry/spice like I expected. There was a section of sliced jalapeno but I didn't want to eat raw jalapeno with my salad, I wanted a zestier dressing. The "crispy" tofu was tofu that was completely fried so it had a texture like a crunchy zwiebach cracker/rusk -- I had been envisioning something with some softness and a chewy exterior. My beverage was a lavender Palmer that was a pint jar of lemonade with some lavender tea on top. For those two items it was $27. I have some oral allergy issues and after eating, I had a "burned" mouth feeling like I get from tahini, walnut or eggplant. I don't think any of these ingredients would have been in the salad, but I do not have an issue with peanuts (eat them all the time). I called to ask if the dressing had tahini in it and was told no, but it still concerned me.
