Greek pizza

This pizza was delish.. the young lady that helped out can def be a bit more welcoming to customers.. that's all

Fish and chips

Atmosphere was great! Country music, comfortable booths. Service outstanding! The food was a bargain. I had the roast chicken, good but a little overcooked. My husband had the fish n chips which were excellent. They have a great tsp list. We each had two beers - the RPM IPA and Vicious Mosquito IPA. All for about $50.

Amazing pizza, tasty drinks, great prices and very friendly staff. Lots of space for groups or to watch anything on tv. Highly recommend.

Food was good! We were looking for pizza on our stay to Mt. Hood and asked a couple locals for a recommendation and they recommended this place! The inside had awesome vibes, super cozy and dark ambience which created a nice atmosphere. The waitress was the sweetest ever! The cheese pizza wasn't the best but the meat pizza was bomb. So good and the ranch is fireee, you gotta get the ranch. Salad was a bit of a rip off considering how expensive it was and how basic it was but oh well. Got a cider on tap which was yummy. Overall we'd totally come back next time we visit

Breakside IPA

Food was delish. We got the sausage pepperoni mushroom pizza to go and snagged a beer with a mix stick app. Bartender was silly and fun and on point. Great atmosphere.

Good hot coffee!

Great mountain ambience with very homey and friendly service! Food was okay - but the vibe and location are the reason to go there!

Cute little restaurant! Very "lodge" style, older and somewhat worn. Pizza was great! Crust was the best I've had in ages. Meatballs were average....garlic toast very average! Server was great as were the rest of the staff! Would recommend if up in this area!

Food was pretty good for an older bar/restaurant and the price. Not many patrons. Interior was all wooden with lots of antique signs and other bar decor. Husband ordered the hot turkey, FF and gravy platter. It was hot and was made with real turkey (not turkey roll) $11. I enjoyed an assortment of selections from the Sides menu: a house garden salad ($3), an order of garlic bread ($2) and two big meatballs ($3). Left feeling full on a quiet and rainy spring evening.

I admitted to the waitress that I made a terrible mistake judging this restaurant by its old, creepy building (built in 1927) and nearly passing it up to go to Subway instead. We took a chance and ordered a few different things: a chef's salad - which was huge - burgers, and a calzone to take back onto our hotel room for dinner. The food was GREAT and not at all spendy for the amount of food we got. The burger was the best I've had in many months! Great grill flavor! We WILL be back to try their pizza! ! The server was friendly and attentive, as well. Overall, we had a really nice experience.

Stopped by this place for dinner with a big group of friends during our recent trip to Oregon. The ambience was nice and we were promptly seated and menus were handed out. Wow - You name it they have it all on their menu. Pasta, pizza, sandwich, burger, everything is in there. We ordered their pesto chicken fettucine, fettucine alfredo, spicy chicken calzone (the best dish out of everything we ordered but it had a kick to it), ravioli, zig zag wings & garlic breadsticks. The food was okay. Almost everything we ordered was served with the same marinara sauce. The alfredo and pesto pasta dishes lacked seasoning as well. For dessert we ordered a dense chocolate cake which was decent. Food arrived quickly but they did mess up our wings sauce but we were hungry so did not send it back. All in all there are better places in Welches to dine than this place.

I was just telling hubby, on our way back from Prineville, that we should stop for dinner, at our favorite restaurant, that 'reminds me of Norway!', and we just passed by. He made a U-turn, but they're not open. We spotted this restaurant, right across the highway, we pulled in and found out they're open still. Their Special written on a chackboard, got my attention: Chicken Tortellini . . . mushroom . . . whatever! We were seated right away! And our order taken. Just like that! I've not been here before, but I certainly started taking photos, I was amazed! I am always liking new places to eat and experiment new foods, although the foods we ordered were classic, nothing new here! (I'm glad nobody stared at me, because I'm like a little kid opening a new toy). I LOVE the soup: Italian Wedding Soup. I almost forgot to have hubby have a taste, I was almost done, and left all the little things, mostly broth. LOL I love the Classic Spaghetti with meatballs, hubby ordered, we both share everything, and I could have eaten it all. I like my tortellini, too, but it was too hot and passed it on to hubby, but we have enough left for another meal. We also ordered Chocolate torte ($4.95, can't beat that), and saved half for another meal, saving the best for last? Made hubby upset, a tad, that we have to make a U-turn, but the reward for our 2 day's work in Prineville PAID WELL!

After an hour we called to check on our pizza and were told that they didn't see the order and would check and call us back. I then called again and asked about the order and asked for the order just to be refunded at that time as it was after 7pm. We left to go get food and while we were out I received a call from my brother stating that the pizza had arrived. The owner made the pizza, delivered it to us and proceeded to refund us for the order as well. In my opinion that is going out of your way to make it right, it was unnecessary for him to drive the pizza to us himself and then not charge us for it. I would love to try this location again the next time we are on the mountain to give them a second try.

We loved the quirky decor showcasing the local history of this establishment over the years including vintage photos and letters, and of course the big ivy covered bear statue right out front. The star of this show however was the pizza. Thin, handmade crust with yummy toppings, also cold beer with frosty mugs, bottomless root beers, tasty and appetizers. Self-described pizza snob here. Grew up in NY and worked at pizza shops throughout HS and college. I'm very judgmental when it comes to pizza. We went here based on local recommendations and got two pizzas to go. They were fantastic. Sauce was great, pizza was thin and crispy, toppings were delicious (they make their cup pepperoni, sausage, and Canadian bacon in house). We got it to go, but the atmosphere inside was really cool and fun. We'll have to go back and dine in. Even with the 20 minute drive home before eating, the pizza was delicious. I can imagine it's even better in person. Cody made the pizzas and he was great, too. If you like to dip in ranch, grab a few with your pizza. Seemed like it was made in house and had great flavor. If you're driving through Sandy and heading up the mountain, this place is worth checking out

Hood…read more As we had already had brunch a few hours earlier, we weren't exactly hungry, but wanted some beers. Mt. Hood Brewing looked promising, so we decided to stop by. It was also in the middle of a heat wave in OR, so we asked to sit outside. After my husband snagged our table, I brought our well-trained and well-behaved Siberian with us to the patio. There was another poorly-behaved dog, but my dog could not have cared any less, and it was far enough away that it didn't bother me too much either. The outdoor seating was minimal and basic, but did the job. Thankfully there was shade from the umbrellas. I put my dog in his "tuck" command under me as he is trained to do at restaurants, and proceeded to look at the menu. To be honest, the food looked pretty good, and also smelled pretty good, as I watched other patrons get their meals. However, we were still pretty stuffed, so we settled with a beer flight. The beers were out to our table pretty quickly, but after trying them, my husband and I came to the consensus that we expected more from the only brewing company in town. As another Yelper put it, the beers fell flat for us too. I was hoping there would be more/different notes to each beer, which is the whole point of sampling multiple, but they all seemed quite monotone. It started getting pretty warm underneath our umbrella, so we quickly wrapped up our beer flight and left. The view was gorgeous, and the location splendid (hence the 4 stars), and perhaps next time I'd be down to try one of their dishes, specifically the elkburger, but I was a little disappointed in the beer. I've been to plenty of breweries to enjoy beers there and also bought craft beers/growlers for home, so I'd like to say I'm decently versed in beer, but this missed the mark.

There were only a couple of other people in the restaurant, but yet it took forever for our server to come help us. I was finally able to get noticed I was able to get a server to come over. When she got to our table, she seemed like she was rushed, but she was very polite. Not sure what she was rushed for because at that time, it was not very busy yet. Me and my two adult sons ordered the timber lined hash, and my wife ordered the Pucci sandwich. They were very tasty and they did look good upon presentation, but me and my son's thought that our hash did not contain enough steak in it to go with the potatoes and everything else.
