Ziebart of Warsaw does it again. My 95-year-old mother-in-law contracted them to put in a remote start for her car. It is an older car worth maybe $7000. as they put in the remote start they call her on phone and tell her the car is rusting and she needs to have it rustproofed. They call again and sell her a chip guard for the front, and then again for covering the rocker panels because they have rust on them. By the time it was all done, it was a $5000 cost. Ziebart of Warsaw may be a superstore and a top seller in the state of Indiana for Ziebart, but they preyed on a 95 year old woman by using scare tactics, and telling her that the payments would be the same. They did not specifically express to her that the payment would be extended, nor did they offered to sign a contract to extend Credit to her. Beware of this seller. New My husband purchased me remote start, the ceramic coating, and protection from the sale underneath (not sure what it's called). They have all been nice as far as the customer service part, it took longer than they stated when my husband dropped the 4 runner off. My remote start is ridiculous. I have already been there once bc of it not working, mind you this was the beginning of December 2024, so not even a month. It still only works after pressing the remote numerous times, waiting for the lights to go through a process OR having to press the lock button on my keys 3 times, then doing the remote. I paid far more than I should've for the service that I got. I spent almost $400 for them to detail the interior of the vehicle, and also remove the seats and clean around them. This is a job I've done at home many times and it isn't that difficult. If I wasn't working on the road for an extended period, I would've done this myself. I got the vehicle back, only to find mud spots all over the speakers, mud still in the seat tracks, and rugs that were not cleaned in the least. I already wasted an entire day leaving my vehicle with them, and didn't have the time to leave it again to fix what they neglected to do the first time. When I asked for a discount and said I'd just clean the vehicle myself (seeing as I could do it more thoroughly in half the time), I got a measly $50 off. I was told that their "normal procedure" was to redo it. I shouldn't have to sit and waste more of my time for them to fix their screw ups. Don't bother patronizing this place! read more

10/30/2014. Got a lifetime warranty remote start installed. They won't give me any paper work proving its lifetime warranty. that way they can change there mind down the road. then a year later had the remote start removed to be installed in another car like it. mine was almost rotted in half. quoted at $50 for it to be switched. Had it removed for $35. then they wanted $135 to re install it. $185 TOTAL. almost a new remote start price. and they said sorry we quoted u wrong. they added no new parts or pass keys. just a hefty bill...... then they didn't even hook the trunk up in the new car. oh, sorry bring it back in, UM. NO. i live 45 mins away and you charge another labor charge. witch I had paid the $185 for them to install it right the first time. Had Another Ziebart look at the remote start. They left the wires for the Trunk button just hanging there. Never even attempted to get them hooked up. Then On behalf of my dad who is not very great at using computers, so i put all his experience into one review and not making it 2 negative reviews. my dad took his F-350 to be rhino-lined. annoying promo calls got it undercoated, waxed, touch up painted, and new gold paint line on the bottom. rhino coat was great. undercoating They said they chipped off all left over rust. I had just had the bed replaced and i removed the rust. I know what no rust on a frame looks like. The undercoating was painted right over peeling rust on the front frame. Fall of within weeks of getting truck black. Undercoating on the doors is so nasty of a job it almost needs removed. Its a white door. And it has a very uneven thick black 2 inches up clear across the door. Very noticeable. And there is a yellow spay they put on the truck. I dont know what it is. But It turned my lower part of my door yellowish. Impossible to get off. Very scarred to see what they will do with the touch up they want to do each year. touch up paint is cheaper to go to walk mart and get a bottle then have u put the wrong color on my rock chips. touch up paint fall off first hand wash. gold painted bottom like a lot of white fords. they have runs all over the trunk. I had to use a razor blade and cut mountains out of the paint. They didnt put the Gold around the corners of the bed like every bed. Then when shooting the gold from outside door rear across to front door it shot inside the crack and totally covered my sticker with all my info on the inner door. DOT would not like this luckily I removed it before it was baked on by heat. they wanted me to bring back my 2002 white Monte carlo. To get it undercoated so it dont rust. After posting this. I am told to remove it or be sued. It's a review. My experience i had with a company. That's what a review is. And your records you posted did not show any means of Me getting the remote start re installed. Why Are you missing information on a job you did. I have the receipt. You not having the proof it was re installed by ziebart means my warranty is voided due to you guys not re installing it. If you need to have a copy for your own company let me know. That way you know you re installed it. Not voiding the warranty. lol. UPDATE 1/28/2020. Sold the remote start separate of the car. The undercoating fall right off the frame of my truck. because they did not reclean or descale the frame first. And Rust came right through there rust prevention a year after it was put on. As for the Lawsuit The owner was going to do agents me for lying. It never happened. Because it was someone trying to bully a reviewer so they keep there perfect rating. And I'm very happy to see others have stepped up and left honest reviews. I went into this ziebart just before Christmas. SAME PEOPLE WORK HERE. So im assuming same experience would happen. We ordered a topper for our ram 3500 long bed and they told us it would be 4-5 weeks and it was 8 weeks by the time it was done. They never bothered to call and update us on the extended time it was going to take, we had to call them every week after week 5 to see when it would be ready. They were very rude every time we spoke with them on the phone and when they did finally call us to tell us it was ready, they said they could put it on our truck at the end of the following week which would have been almost 10 weeks from the time we ordered it. We asked them to please put it on our truck the next morning because we have waited so long and we got nothing but attitude. The gentleman who actually put it on our truck was very nice and friendly and that is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. We have used this company on 3 occasions...I know very dumb! 1. window tinting which never cured (bubbles still to this day and they will not redo the work) 2. deep cleaning of a vehicle with water damage. not only does the vehicles still smell of mildew after paying for their most intense detailing, they punctured the seat and bleached the carpet in 6 places. they did hire someone to repair the seat and paint/dye the carpets, but not before calling me a liar. 3. We had a "new" 15" flip down DVD player installed.. we paid more than $650 and it was not new as we were told, it was used. They have yet to replace or refund the money DO NOT USE! read more

I had my vehicle tinted a couple of months ago. It was poorly done to say the least. After the fact, I was told my vehicle is the hardest tint to do (Pontiac Bonneville). I brought it back to be fixed, but told them if they couldn't fix it right, I wanted it taken out and my money refunded. After my car sat there all day, I went to pick it up, and the tent know was no longer on. I requested my money back, which they gladly obliged. However, when I requested their Better Business Bureau number, I was asked to leave the premises immediately! The manager told me that they have a perfect rating, and no one would believe me. The customer service was the worst part about this particular Ziebart! I would think twice before bringing your business to them. I will say that I have used this Ziebart on several occasions and have not had a problem.... Until now! Beware! This is my first experience with Ziebart. I took my truck here to get the rust protection and undercoating treatment. I dropped my truck off in the morning before work so that it would be done by the time I got off. Halfway through the day, one of the employees called me and told me that my truck had some rock chips in the paint and that he highly recommended their signature Diamond Gloss coating to protect any further potential for rust forming. This also came with the interior treatment. I accepted the treatment. About 2 hours later a different employee called and tried to get me to upgrade the Diamond Gloss to their pricey Ceramic Gloss treatment as well as 3M paint protector. They were trying to shake every bit of money out of me. They even tried quoting me for financing once I said I couldn't swing that much money on a vehicle I had just bought. They wouldn't take no for an answer. They even ran my credit without my permission which resulted in a negative impact on my credit score. Another instance I know about with this location is with a friend who ordered a truck bed cap through them. When he went to go pick it up, they had set it on the bare pavement and the paint got all scratched up. It also didn't have all the features that he ordered and when he brought it up, they stated that he didn't order those features, even though the receipt clearly said he had. In the end, they made things right except for the paint. In short, the customer service is not good and they will look for ways to get your money. Be stern with them and only get what you want. This location is shady and would not trust them with my money. They products are good but the terrible customer service is a deal breaker for me. read more

All the lights looked amazing and the rust protection looked great. The staff was very nice and they have a great credit plan you can apply for. I live in Dayton,Oh area and twice I have visited this store for service. I have relatives in the area so it is nice for me to do this while I visit. The first time I had several dents popped out, my headlights looked as though they had cataracts and they removed that film from them and also diamond glossed my van. Literally the worst customer service. I purchased 2 remote start kits as gifts. The one was put on and didn't work properly. My daughter had to take her vehicle in two times and the information she received about how the start worked was completely different each time. They also tried to charge her for the already paid for starter. The other vehicle was dropped off Wednesday evening to be worked on Thursday. When we went to pick it up Friday morning it was not ready! The response given for why it wasn't ready was "sorry." My husband had a meeting that day and had no vehicle to get to work. But the manager did have time to call the day before, pull him out of a meeting and try to sell him more services. He explained to them he just wanted the starter put on.
