I asked them to detail my vehicle and tint the windows…read more The vehicle was simply wet vacuumed. Most carpets were still wet, other places dry them. I opened the doors and parked the vehicle in the sun in order to dry the carpets. When dry, I found all kind of debris in the corners, it appears they simply wet-vacuumed, pushing the dirt and debris around. You are supposed to vacuum first before you do something wet. The rest of the vehicle appeared to have been simply wiped down. There was still dust and dirt in the corners of the door pockets, storage compartments and so on. One corner of a window tint came loose. I went back and they re-glued it or something like that. About 1 week later it came loose again, same spot. Had to go back again, they re-glued it again. Now it looked all wrinkled. I asked them to replace the tint as it does not look good. They said to give it a week, the wrinkles might go out. They did not and the tint came loose again. I stopped at another place, they fixed it properly on the spot, and it has been lasting well for over 6 months.

I stopped by T&J Car Audio to ask about scheduling and was surprised that they could get me in the same day. As I suspected, it turned into a real job even for them due to the way the battery compartment is isolated and the fact that the new Bose systems have so many quirks. It ended up consuming the rest of their day but it's exactly as I wanted and at a price that made me feel guilty. I've already lined up another vehicle for them to do. Don't get any mobile electronics done without checking here first.

I have had a Hops do a few cars for me as well as referred more than a few friends to them. Never…read morehad an issue with them, they are way overpriced but I believe you get what you pay for. Initially I was a big fan of them but recently that has changed. The last time I used them I brought my truck which they charge 300 dollars for, steep right? I think, bigger car more money? Makes sense. Until I get it home and check out the bed. There was still loose dirt and leafs from when I dropped it off. I have a cover and didnt think to check. Obviously they missed the bed. Not a big deal, I figure they will either do a real detail job in the bed later or just reimburse me some cash, either way is fine. I called the next day and they said I had to bring the tuck in before 4pm and show Joe to prove it wasn't done. Fine. So I leave work early to show Joe the bed and when I get there Joe is out. (Happy birthday btw). So I left and said I would be back the next week when he was in, now I'm getting frustrated. When I take it back a few days later Joe and Hop are outside so I'm thinking great! This should be quick. As soon as I get out of the car I open the back and it's obvious little if anything was done back there. He said he would sweep it out but offered no other resolve. I told hop I was embarrassed to have referred my friends to him if this is the level of service they received. To which he replied "you should be" at this point I left. Needless to say they have lost my business as my referral. The inside of the truck was great and the outside was ok which is why they get two stars. But, for 300 dollars I should have just gone to drive and shine then taken the family out for a nice dinner. I apologize to anyone I have referred to this business if you were treated the way I was. They literally charge twice as much for the same job as anyone else in town so I would expect a little compassion when something as big as a dirty truck bed is missed. I guess the joke is on me. They still charged me 300 dollars and I still have a dirty truck bed. I would not recommend this place to a friend.
