    I can't say enough good things about this company. I had a "fender bender" last winter that was…read morerepaired by this shop. Their repair schedule was full and, since my car was drivable, I had to wait a few months to get it repaired. But, it was definitely worth the wait because they did a fantastic job and my car looks like new. Unfortunately, I recently had a parking lot incident which resulted in a bad scrape to the side of my car, and it also affected a tire. When I brought it back to Lakeview Body Shop for an estimate, again their schedule was full for several months. But since I told Aaron (the owner) that I had plans to move out of state soon, he assured me that, depending on what needed to be done and availability of parts needed, he would try to get me in ASAP. True to his word, I was called in a few days and told that I could bring my car in the next week. When I brought my car in for the repairs, Aaron personally took the time to explain to me that since one tire had been damaged, and the tread on all of my tires was extremely low, I should get all four tires replaced. He then took the time to work directly with Discount Tire to secure and mount all four new tires, keeping me informed and in the loop during the whole process. I honestly can't say enough good things about Lakeview Body Shop, Aaron, and Sue and Melanie in the office. If you need any body repairs to your vehicle, you should call them. Even if you have to wait, I promise that you won't be disappointed. The service and repairs that you get will be well worth any wait that you may have. And, the fact that there is a wait should say something, right?

    I have a 2014 Chevy Suburban and I was in a car accident in February. Some lady hit an icy patch…read moreand slid through an intersection and struck the front side of the driver's side portion of my vehicle. The work on the front to replace the headlight was amazing and it was so amazing, I didn't even see the long scratch in the finish coat they put on the driver's side door after they tried to blend in the paint. I did, however, notice the handle as soon as I tried to pull my door shut, the clips inside cracked and now I have a broken handle. I mentioned about the back bumper needing repair and to please add it to the list of items damaged in the accident (because I bounced into another car and swerved back into the first one) and he said he would have to write that down and of course never fixed it; forgot about it completely. He gave me a card to reach out later but honestly the only thing good about this place was the customer service. I should not ever find hidden broken clips in my door handle that someone tried to cover up nor should I see a scratch in the finish coat of paint that runs the entire length of my door. I will be taking it someplace else to fix their mistakes.

    I was in an accident on Sept 5. My Insurance company had Gerber as their preferred shop. Since I…read morehad never had to use a body shop before, I trusted my insurance company to pick a good garage. Gerber contacted me on Sept 9th after the repair estimate was prepared to come down and sign paperwork authorizing them to do the repairs. I did this on Sept 9 and was told the repairs would be done by Sept 26. This was longer than most repair time estimates that I could find but I was confident that Progressive would choose a good shop, so I accepted this, this was definitely my mistake. While at Gerber, I asked them about repairs for some hail damage repair and if they could complete this while my car was in the shop without extending the completion date. Gerber told me they would have a quote to me for those repairs the following day Sept 10. On Sept 11, I called them to find out where my quote was and was told it would be another day. On Sept 13th I called back and was told that the gentleman that did those repairs was gone for the weekend and It would be Monday the 16th before I would have a quote. On Tuesday, the 17th, I called them and told them to forget about providing a quote and to just finish my car for the accident repairs. On Sept 24th, the shop called me to tell me that the car was being re-assembled and it would be ready for me on the 26th. This was a relief, albeit a short lived one. On the 25th I was contacted by the insurance adjuster to tell me that the car would not be done on the 26th but the shop updated him that it wouldn't be done until the 30th. In less than 24 hours it appeared a lot had changed with Gerber Collision. On the 27th, the shop contacted me to tell me they did not know when the work would be completed. I went from getting my car back on the 26th, to the 30th and now to ??????? all in a 48 hour time period. Next update from Gerber was on Oct 1. I was told they were reassembling the car (2nd time) and it would be back together and out to the dealership for balancing and alignment and it would be complete on Oct 4. On Oct 4 Gerber called to tell me that the car was not completely back together but should be completed on that day but it would not get to the dealership until Monday 7th and maybe the dealership will be able to complete it for me to pick up on Monday. Oct 7th, I received a call from my insurance company after filing a complaint and telling them they would no longer have me for a customer for referring me to this incompetent, unprofessional body shop. I was informed that they had personally spoken to the body shop and the car was being reassembled (3rd time) and would be done on the 9th. I am writing this before the 9th so I cannot speak to the condition of the repairs but I am taking it to another body shop for inspection as I have absolutely no faith that this poor excuse for a business has any knowledge of quality.

I traveled all the way from Akron, Ohio to Henkel today (about 4 hours) to purchase a 2018 Dodge Charger 392 Daytona. My experience was fantastic from start to finish. When I arrived, they had the vehicle inside in a special area with a red bow on it (I had joked about the red bow with Jamie, whom I first spoke with during my initial call to the dealership and she made sure to put a red bow on the car...very nice touch). The vehicle was SPOTLESS inside and out. I've purchased six vehicles in the last three years and this was one of the best detailing jobs i've seen. Just amazing. My salesperson was Clay Lawrence. This is the guy you want when you go to Henkel. Trust me on this. Go to the dealership and tell them you read Kevin L's Yelp review (the guy who bought the 2018 B5blue 392 Daytona Charger) and that you want CLAY LAWRENCE to be your salesperson. The salesperson makes ALL the difference when you're purchasing a vehicle at a dealership. Clay went out of his way to accommodate me, especially with regard to price on the new vehicle and my trade. He really worked hard to meet my numbers. I was at the dealership for six hours (no one's fault, these things take time) and always it was a relaxed atmosphere without any pressure from Clay whatsoever. He was very easy to deal with, answered all of my questions and was very professional. We haggled a bit on my trade but that's perfectly normal at any dealership. They gave me very close to what I asked for, and they sold me the new vehicle for the exact price it was advertised for. Ultimately I got a great deal and was very comfortable with the purchase. I couldn't be happier. Now...would I drive fours hours again to purchase another vehicle from Henkel? WITHOUT HESITATION. And i'll make sure to ask for CLAY. Thank you sincerely to Clay Lawrence, Jamie, and to Ransom (the manager) for a fantastic experience.
