I hope you're hungry or at least smarter the we were. Our only complaint, I'll say it up front, was the service. It was 3pm. We did t really feel like we were all the welcome and the service was a little on the slow side. But the food way then made up for it. Appetizers: Bruschetta - excellent. Spinach Artichoke Dip - the best I can remember having anywhere. Garlic bread - very good and cheesey but could have used some more garlic. Caprici salad- wasn't on the menu and the were out of fresh basil but still very good. Pizza Fries - it was a small pizza with sauce on the side. All plates were huge and way to much before the enters. There were 7 of us and we had 5 different pastas and a cheese pizza. No one even came close to finishing their order and we took him 6 boxes and a whole small pie. The food was all very good. Much better then I was expecting really. It's that book and cover thing. It's definitely worth the drive from where we live. And I / we will be returning. And keep you eye out for the Chickens. Polish Chickens at that. read more

My husband and I have given Zia's in Webster, WI two chances based on reviews praising their pasta, and both times left genuinely disappointed and frustrated. First visit: Arrived around 1 pm and were told they only had pizza and breakfast--no pasta. We tried the pizza anyway. It was underwhelming at best. Second visit (today): Arrived around 7 pm. Only outdoor seating was available, and again: no pasta. For a place that markets itself as an Italian restaurant, the "Italian" options were basically pizza, a couple of appetizers, one shrimp dish, and a single sandwich (the "Hot Deebo"). I ordered the shrimp with Cajun seasoning; it came in a sauce that I assume was supposed to be garlic butter, but it looked watered down and tasted about the same. The shrimp itself tasted boiled with zero Cajun seasoning or heat. My husband got the Hot Deebo sandwich. The meat had almost none of the spice the menu advertises, the texture was more like a bland burger patty, and it was served on soggy bread instead of the garlic bread described. The pizza fries were decent, but we didn't drive 30 minutes for okay pizza fries and otherwise flavorless food. To top it off, everything was served on paper plates with plastic utensils. That might fit a very casual spot, but paired with the prices and the overall experience, it just felt cheap and careless. Service added to the frustration: our bartender/ serve was loud and clearly more focused on joking with her friends than on providing attentive service or checking on our food. Nothing on their website indicating that pasta is only available at certain times, yet we've now been told twice that there's "no pasta." If you present yourself as an Italian restaurant, customers expect actual Italian options. After two letdowns, I can't recommend Zia's and we won't be returning. read more

Very good angel hair with red sauce and meatballs. However, the service was very slow. Example: My friend didn't get his garlic bread until 30 minutes after he got his food. And he had asked kindly twice. Ambiance was ok. Simple. I think it would have been nice for them to comp his garlic bread because it came incredibly late, but they didn't. read more

I'm normally not very adventurous when it comes to my pizza. I typically like the savory vs sweet and keep it pretty simple with meats of some type and a few fave veggies. That all ended a year ago when, during a cabin trip, a friend let me try their unique pizza order at Zia's. Their PB&J pizza combines peanut butter, grape jelly, bacon, and jalapeños perfectly. If you happen to be in Webster, WI don't let this odd menu item fool you. I was a hard skeptic myself, but it just works. Runners up are the gyro pizza and chicken bacon ranch. Be sure to also grab some boozey slushee drinks while you're there. Check them out next time you're in the heart of WI Cabin Country. read more

I went here for a specific item and was not disappointed with the PB&J pizza. However, the service was HORRIBLE!!! Unfriendly, inattentive, and no cares for our table given. Wish it said the name of the lady who waited on us so I could mention her. Almost didn't even leave a tip... first time in my life I've left someone less than 10% but I guess she deserved something. We had a lot of leftover pizza so I asked for 4 boxes - she tried to give me 4 styrofoam to go containers. When I said it wouldn't fit she said do you really need 4? She would only give us 2 pizza boxes and we had to shove the rest of our leftover pizza into to go containers. If I ever returned I would order to go but I doubt I will be back even though I loved the specialty pizza. Hands down the best white sauce pizza in the history of the known universe. Not in the NW Wi area. Not in Wisconsin proper, not in the Midwest, not even in the country. The fine country of Italy has an open investigation into how a small pizzeria in Wisconsin perfected their national fruit. Elders maintain their is a special ingredient that makes these pies special, and locals know that is indeed love. Great atmosphere outside in the pavilion. We enjoy the cold beer. Have yet to try the food but will very soon. We have found the service very good. Can ride our SXS there from all around the area. But, the crust was, well different. Not in a good way. Way to thick and hard for lack of a better description. The sauce was bland at best. The shrimp was described as "colossal". A extremely generous description at best. More like a 24-21 size. Basically poached in some sort oil with no seasoning. Served with nothing, not even a piece of bread. Should have been four dollars, not $12. The creamy bruschetta was white bread topped with some sort of white sauce with chopped tomato's. Served cold. Simply unacceptable. The indoor/outdoor vibe appeals to couples, families, friends and is a fun place to show off your Corn Hole skills!! First time visitor, checked the reviews. My wife and I on a short 4 day weekend getaway. I had the 14" House special pizza, my wife had the 1lb lasagna. $3.25 house red, at least 8oz, delicious. Unless you're Joey Chestnut, the 14" was enough to feed both of us. It is thick with ingredients, delicious, and perfectly cooked. My wife's lasagna was the same. I really wanted to like this place, but it just wasn't good. The service was ok. If you're going for pizza and beer, you should be fine. If you're expecting an authentic Italian experience, don't.
