Whiskey Joe's has great food, reasonably priced drinks, and really good atmosphere. This place gets busy Thursday-Sunday evenings. They have live music, bingo, and meat raffles frequently. I've been here twice in the last month and loved the chicken nachos and Oarhouse pizza both times. The portions are huge and they are really tasty. The negatives are we asked for no peppers in the pizza the first time and no jalapeños on the nachos the second time and neither happened so the kitchen doesn't seem great with requests. Also, they charge for fountain drink refills, this is always tacky given the profit margin on fountain drinks.

Our server kept the kids drinks full as well as our beers full. Before we left we got to meet the owners and both of them where very nice and shared some information about their great smoked meats they're so proud of. We will be back to try this out as we don' t live too far away.

Cheese curds come with two dipping sauces, ranch and chipotle-ranch choices. The broasted chicken is my favorite in the area, but not served on Fridays. Fridays they have a fish fry. Turns out that most fish sticks are made from Pollock. The TV was turned to the GSN (gameshow network) where Bob Barker was being handed a lifetime achievement award and I thought: a) he is still alive? and b) there is a gameshow network? Last night was no exception. The prime rib was absolutely perfect - tender, juicy, and cooked exactly how we wanted it. And the mashed potatoes and gravy? Amazing! (Yes, it is definitely possible to wreck gravy, but they nail it here.) My partner got the "Lambeau Burger" (which, as Vikings fans, we affectionately call the Mushroom and Swiss burger) and he devoured it, saying it was delicious.
