Everyone was extremely impressed with the selection, prices and quality, not to mention the service. The owner catered to our every need and kept up a friendly conversation. He even offered up non menu desert specials. My family and I went pretty basic (half sausage/half pepperoni), but the friends who accompanied us went with a deluxe with cauliflower crust and an egg roll appetizer. As for ambience, it's a bit of a hole in the wall, one room, but multiple tables, well organized. The owner clearly knew what he was doing and more than once we felt he went above and beyond. I've been ordering these drinks with and without alcohol for about 40 years now: This was the only undrinkable one I've encountered. It tasted like Red Hot on the rocks. I took a couple of sips and had to go throw up in the bathroom. Not kidding. My stomach and mouth were on fire. I'm still sick over an hour later. The two people I was with ordered food and were happy with it. I only had this horrible drink. When the waitress came back a couple of times, my full drink sat in front of me. She didn't ask if something was wrong with it. The second time she came back to the table I told her she could take the drink, that it was not drinkable. She said their mix is hot. Understatement of the year! There aren't a lot of people up north who like things spicy. I, however, do. She was kind enough to leave the full glass and bring a bill for $8.50. I paid it. On the way out, I handed the full drink to the sour faced lady that had originally "greeted" me at the bar. I told her it was so hot that it was undrinkable. No offer of a refund. I told her it was a nice way to spend $8.50. Now I remember why we stopped going here.

They also have great onion rings and fried mushrooms!!! The food is good, fresh and hot. Most items are deep fried but thats what you expect and love at a drive in. You can sit and eat outside at the tables or they will come to your car door and take your order and serve you there. Really fun little stop with really reasonable prices for a snack.
