Zorbaz is such a charming place and a must stop if you are nearby. They are all located in smaller towns on lakes around Minnesota. Their menu i consists of Mexican food and pizza. Their schtick is that every "s" on the menu is replaced with a "z", which the kids got a kick out of. They have some creative pizzas, which are quite good. A big beer list with a lot of a variety. Reasonable costs for everything. They have an arcade area and it is quite big inside, with a cabin feel. Also have a small live music stage and a nice patio that we didn't use as it was not the season for that, but I'm sure it is wonderful in the summer! Their model is to order at the bar, no table service, but it works very well without a hitch. Super fun place and family friendly!

An overall excellent bar! The beer selection was great and the pizza was some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. Service was good amidst busyness. Ambiance was fun and eclectic, but love that their locations are on the shores of Minnesota lakes.

This is a self serve place...with food delivery to your table. Please set your expectations accordingly. The food runners do a good job of getting tables cleaned, and getting your food to you {it can be super busy at times, pack a little patience}. We enjoy coming here, and the bar staff are helpful and friendly and try their best to get you the food and drink you want quickly. My pizza got lost in the shuffle there for a bit (wife had hers for a solid 10-15 before mine came out with a "Sorry yours got lost"). That being said every visit we've had has been pretty solid. Good food, and we've got our favorites like the Macho Nachoz, the BBQ Chicken Pizza, the Hot Hawg Pizza or the Thai Pie. Beer is always cold, and the food is hot when they run it out to you. Love all the history in the building, and signs and stuff on the wall. Place to relax and have some beers and pizza. It's a Northwoods staple for sure.

Hello 200th review! I have especially saved this review for a special place in my heart, Zorbaz. I love Zorbaz. Not only do they have a fascination with Zs and my last name starts with a Z so we already share the love, but this place is a special place because it reminds me of growing up in Northern Minnesota. It is now a tradition for my family to hit up a Zorbaz at least once a year when we go up north to visit family and friends. When I think of going up to the cabin I always pair it with stopping in at Zorbaz. It also doesn't hurt that we have a Zorbaz down the lake from us... What keeps me coming back to this place is their great food and the atmosphere. The atmosphere is kinda like a college party that has been thrown into lake resort life. It is bright, loud, and full of events. The waitresses flirt, the music is loud, and the patio is huge. Sand volleyball if you are lucky. And you are always near a lake. Zhateau Zorbaz doesn't disappoint on any of those things. The food is amazing. First off, the portions are huge. You will leave this place full. Their menu hovers around Mexican/Pizza options. Their Mexican options are massive, monster size burritos and nacho platters. The Mexican food always looks great but their pizza is what I almost always go to. Some of my favorites are the BBQ Chicken (seriously the best BBQ pizza around), the Reuben, the Cheeseburger, and the Thai Pie. If you can't decide between Mexican or Pizza, you can get the best of both worlds and order the Taco Pizza which comes with chips and salsa on the side for free! One last thing, true Zorbaz fans will make sure to pick up a T-shirt on the way out, especially if you have a first or last name that starts with Z. I also like the free cups you get if you order a soft drink. I have a stack of them at home which spans about 10 years that I use for my home bar. *Also extra kudos for this place. They have an arcade onsite and in that arcade they have the original TMNT Turtles in Time arcade game. If you know what I am talking about you know how awesome that is. Bring your quarters!

For being in the middle of nowhere, it's a decent place with some decent food. It's right on a lake, which is nice. You sit at a table but have to go up to the bar to place your order, which is interesting. The nachos appetizer was pretty good! Nothing special, but nachos. Pregnant burrito was not too bad either! Stuffed with fillings and literally would look like a pregnant burrito, if that were possible.

Their nachos are huge. I ordered the full size . Bummer that it doesn't come with guac. You have to order it on the side. Their skinny margarita is good! The place was empty when I got there but it is a clean, fun spot with lots of tvs to watch games .

We have been coming to this location for years, since it was known as Chateau Paulette back in the 1980s. The building features gorgeous knotty pine and beamed ceilings, truly a north woods gem. At first when Zorbaz opened, the kitsch of the menu (everything spelled with zs) didn't quite jive with the gorgeous interior. However, we've come around because we are glad the place is thriving again - whatever it takes. Zorbaz has a nice bar, darts, shuffleboard, a game room and a stage for live music and karaoke. They have a lot going on to keep everyone in the family entertained. It does tend to get loud, so if you have anyone really young or old in your party I would recommend going early. You can grab some free popcorn or buy a sweatshirt in the "gift shop" while wait for your food. I don't particularly like how there is no table service. You have to go to the counter to place your order. Now, on to the food. It's an eclectic menu of Mexican, spaghetti and pizza. The food is just OK. I've never had anything really bad, nor anything really good. My husband likes their spaghetti, but to me it's too spicy. The pizza is pretty good and a safe choice. I give them 3 stars for food. Overall Zorbaz gets a 4, because the experience and north woods charm outweigh the mediocre food.

Love this place!! We visit the area once a year, and we always make it a point to eat here the first night in and usually once again before leaving. Very generous portions for the price. Also, try the "Blue Bobber Minnesota Margarita". It's awesome!

Ordered the blue margarita from reading the reviews and it was such a great drink! Highly recommended.

Lousy return back to business. Skunky beer 2-3 was bad, self serve beverage stations lines not cleaned (pop tastes aweful).

Love it! Our table did a mashup of everything - wings, burgers, pizza, and even a grilled cheese. Again - all simple, but all tasty. I'd call this place Perham's top wing/pizza place in town. I split the grilled cheese and then had the buffalo wings. The buffalo sauce was on point from a flavor a heat perspective. And the homemade ranch - heck yeah! Perfect combo! Well done 1894 - we will be back! (PS - we recommend getting some cool signage outside for us out-of-towners)

My son ordered the Belltower Burger which was bacon, mushroom, cheese and sauce which was like a strogenoff sauce. I mopped some of my slider in it. We also shared the cheese curds as a side for $5. We were charged $1.50 for ranch, even though it was free with order of curds as an app. Also ordered Busch Non Alcohol beer for $5.00. It was really nice inside as this was an older church in its past life. The Burgers are 1/2 # and I enjoyed a bite of my son's burger. The burgers are fresh and not frozen and worth ordering. I did suggest hot honey with the cheese curds and turn the peanut butter grilled cheese and bacon sandwich into a burger. I'd return again.

In fact, calling it even a town is a stretch. It's basically a group of restaurants and shops (and a church) that line a single road in the heart of MN cabin country. But boy, is this place hopping during cabin season. And Campaneros is one of its anchors. Campaneros is the perfect example of a quintessential MN Mexican joint. And what I mean by that is Mexican food that has been catered to softer palates and Midwest perspective. Nothing wrong with that, its just like calling Taco Bell a Mexican restaurant, it kind of is and it kind of isn't. The food is pretty good, you will find all the Midwest Texmex staples here - fajitas, seafood chimis, smothered burritos, etc. All loaded with melted cheese and refried beans and rice. Portions are belly- busting huge. You will probably have a whole extra meal to take home if you partake in the free chips and salsa. Also, margs are large and pretty strong. It's exactly what you crave when on vacation, and cabin time is a time to kick back and indulge. When I said legend, I wasn't kidding. This place has been in Dorset for a long time, ever since I can remember. It recently burned down but they built it back newer and better with recipes and heart still intact. That means the place offers a much better seating arrangement and a large, beautiful patio area. Even with more seating, expect to wait for a table as this place is busy almost all the time. Good place that has stood the test of time (and a fire and long MN winters). Next time you are in town, do yourself a favor and sample some Dorset history. Ice cream can be found next door for dessert.

There is not a lot of spice or seasoning involved and their hottest sauce is not quite as hot as Whataburger ketchup. The people here love it and it is always busy.
