The lamb chops were tender and cooked perfectly, and the seafood pasta was rich, flavorful, and comforting. I also had the opportunity to try some of the grouper special from another guest's plate, and it was equally impressive. The service, however, was very similar to my first visit. You do have to be somewhat proactive in getting your server's attention, and there can be periods where you feel overlooked. As we were leaving, I noticed the restaurant vehicle outside with a phrase along the lines of "Questionable service, great food," and honestly, that sums up the experience quite well. What Poseidon's may occasionally lack in attentive service, it more than makes up for with consistently excellent food. It is clear that many of the guests are regulars who come in several times a week for a great meal, a good drink, and the comfort of a familiar neighborhood restaurant.
