I placed an order through the app for pickup and drove through the pickup line to get it. I had just had a laser treatment on my face and didn't want to get out of the car, otherwise I would have simply gone inside to order and pick up. When I got to the window, I was told "You ordered pickup you need to park and pick it up on the table inside" This was my first time using the app, so I didn't realize there was a difference between picking up inside and picking up thru the drive thru. Instead of explaining this at all, the interaction came across as rude and dismissive. I couldn't help but think what if this was an elderly person who had trouble walking or something. I like the food here and would hope management can address the way situations like this are handled so customers have a better experience bc there is really no sense in someone acting like that. This happened today, a little after 11. The girl I spoke with in the drive thru had bright red box dye hair but tbh the guy at the register inside wasn't much better. I just don't get it. Like I said in my last review, I hope they get it figured out bc people do like the food.

Service can sometimes be a bit slow since there aren't usually many waitstaff working, but the food makes up for it, especially the bread. The hot, soft, fresh from the oven pita bread is so delicious it's hard to remember to save room for the food. As to the food, I haven't tried anything I didn't like. The grape leaves are large and delicious. The hummus is some of the best around. The kebobs are flavorful and presented beautifully. The clay oven menu items are presented with fire, which is always fun. When the kids order a pizza, they get to make it themselves in the kitchen with the friendly, kind staff. Oh, and the salad that comes with many of the entrees is deliciously garlicky and full of feta. We always leave full and with too many leftovers.

The waiters were attentive, helped with the menu, and kept things light with jokes throughout the evening. They start you off with warm pita bread and two sauces, one olive oil based and one tomato based. Both were fresh and flavorful. I ordered the Red Velvet Chicken and it was brought to the table flaming which was an impressive presentation. The chicken was tender, seasoned well, and came with a crisp salad on the side. The moment that really stood out was watching the staff go above and beyond for the family at the table next to us. They let a young boy go behind the counter to make his own pizza and his face lit up the whole place. That is the kind of personal touch that makes a restaurant special. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was lively, and the service was outstanding.

Healthy & delicious I always wanted Athena to add more wheat in the tabouleh salad so I do it myself! Same great taste! The service is friendly but if you've been to the restaurant it's a part of the store so not very appealing. And what a wonderful change of plans. I am SO happy we ended up going Greek. The decor was cool and trendy. The Baba Ganoush appetizer was great. Served with tons of warm pita bread. I had the Zeus something which was basically a Greek sampler (since I didn't know what anything was) and everything was totally delicious except for whatever they brought me before my meal. Not sure what it was called but it was super oniony and strongly acidic. Good flavor but the acid started hurting my tongue after a few bites. The gyro was the best thing on my plate and the hummus was awesome as well. My husband had the Lamb Kebab and he liked it but said he would get something different next time. We ordered the Chicken Shawarma for our son and he liked it a lot. We have a big box of leftovers and a baklava to go that we are too full to try just yet. Also, service was very fast and friendly. TL;DR Eat here if you like interesting and flavorful food. Edit (5 minutes later): We just ate the baklava because my husband couldn't stand to wait any longer. Let's just say there was a happy dance going on in our car.

He was "on his way.' We asked how long it would be before he arrived, and the sweet hostess called him, and it was going to be about 20 minutes. I asked if we could get some hummus and pita bread while we waited, but there was no kitchen staff available. We left. A couple days later, we called before we went--we were 20 minutes away. Again the chef wasn't there, but "was on his way." We showed up, and chef was not there and was going to be another 25 minutes. We left again. The hours posted are from 11 am-9pm. We were there both times between 4:30-5. If there is no chef, they need to post correct hours. This was so ridiculous!

I once again ordered the lamb chops with the seafood pasta, and it was every bit as satisfying as the first time. The lamb chops were tender and cooked perfectly, and the seafood pasta was rich, flavorful, and comforting. I also had the opportunity to try some of the grouper special from another guest's plate, and it was equally impressive. The service, however, was very similar to my first visit. You do have to be somewhat proactive in getting your server's attention, and there can be periods where you feel overlooked. As we were leaving, I noticed the restaurant vehicle outside with a phrase along the lines of "Questionable service, great food," and honestly, that sums up the experience quite well. What Poseidon's may occasionally lack in attentive service, it more than makes up for with consistently excellent food. It is clear that many of the guests are regulars who come in several times a week for a great meal, a good drink, and the comfort of a familiar neighborhood restaurant.
