    Coconut cream pie vortex

If you're looking for a new addictive spot to get a rich and velvety malt, creamy dreamy ice-cream, or delicious tasty treats. Then, this is the place to go! We've gone to Zesto's all across the US. And, they never disappoint. Our go to item is a Hot-fudge malt. We have ordered this countless times over the years and my family fights over every last sip! This time we ordered their flavor of the month vortex (Coconut Cream pie) it was unbelievably good! Definitely glad that I tried something new. Sometimes there's a long wait. But, let me tell you, it's worth waiting for! They have a huge menu. So, make sure to ask for a suggestion if you aren't sure what to get. This location was super cute and nostalgic. I loved the Zesto sign and the walk up window. Everyone was very friendly, fast, and efficient. There was plenty of seating outside. But, we were in a hurry so, we sipped on our Malt in the car. They also, have a drive through if you're looking to get out of there fast. Hot-fudge Malt-This malt is rich and decadent. It is thick, creamy, and velvety. It has notes of vanilla, malt, and nutty cocoa power. This malt will have you dreaming about it every second until you get your next malt. Make sure to get a Large if you're sharing. That way you can fight over every last sip. Coconut Cream Pie Vortex- This concrete was decadent and rich! It tasted like paradise in a cup. With flakes of coconut, thick ice cream, and crispy bites of vanilla wafers. All in all a dreamy cup of joy.

Pumpkin hand-dipped! Really pumpkin-y without being overly "spiced". Delicious! Cute retro ambiance, too

Peanut butter frozen yogurt...best thing on the menu

My favorite place for a summer treat. I lived in the area for about 13 years and I became completely addicted to Zesto during that time. Now that I've moved away, I have to get my fix any time I am anywhere close to New Albany. I highly recommend the peanut butter frozen yogurt...it's always been my favorite. But, the chocolate malt and hot fudge brownie sundae are also really great. The staff is always quite friendly and happy. The lines are usually long, but it's worth the wait. The prices are great, the food is great, the staff is great, what's not to love? I guess my only complaint is that it's not available in my new home of Lexington yet...but I'll be first in line if they expand there!

Wonderful everything. Good food. Great service! Hot but great seats. Amazing here. The best part of New Albany and the hot weather.

Chili dog minus the chili, apparently.

A chili cheese dog with very little chili, a shake so thick that you can't drink it until you let it sit for a bit. If that's your cup of tea, then you'll love this place that once was proud of the product they serve. I went through the drive through, had to turn around to get some chili... which defeats the convenience purpose of a drive thru. Walk up, talk to a manager and show him my situation. No apology or anything besides "we can give you a chili cup". While waiting, I get yelled at by a customer because my vehicle is too close to his... but mine is completely inside the lines of my spot. So if you want to go there, don't park in their tiny spots and also don't go through the drive through because you'll just have to walk back up.

Love their soft serve ice cream. Chili hotdogs are good, smoothies are great, slushees are also good. I also like their Nachos.

I didn't set out looking for better ice cream…read more I set out looking for a local business to support. For years, my family and I did what most people do--we went to the big chain ice cream places because that's what everyone knows. Then one day I decided to try something local and found Uncommon Cups & Cones. What I expected was decent ice cream and the satisfaction of supporting a small business. What I got was better ice cream, bigger portions, lower prices, friendlier service, and a place my kids now ask to visit by name. Every visit feels like we're getting away with something. We spend less money than we did at the chain places, somehow leave with more ice cream, and the quality is better. I'm still trying to figure out how that math works. My kids absolutely love this place. They love the unique flavor names, they love the atmosphere, and they treat every visit like it's a special occasion. As a parent, that's worth a lot. What really separates Uncommon Cups & Cones, though, is the people. They were friendly from day one, but by our second visit they remembered us. In a world where it feels like most businesses barely acknowledge you're standing there, they make you feel like they genuinely appreciate you coming back. The shop has personality. The ice cream is fantastic. The prices are fair. The portions are generous. The staff is incredible. This is exactly the kind of local business people say they want to support. The difference is Uncommon Cups & Cones actually makes it easy. At this point, if Uncommon Cups & Cones ever goes public, my kids are prepared to invest their college funds.

As we made our way back to the car I spotted The Widow's Walk and said to wifey "Wifey! ICE CREAM!" She looked back at me and said "ICE CREAM!". So we handily found ourselves at The Widow's Walk, perusing the menu. This adorable old Victorian style house is brightly colored and surrounded by a white picket fence. It's set across the road from the river, so it affords a few of the river and the passers by. I was impressed with the way they managed to stay in business while COVID ravaged so many eateries. They had a number of tables set outside for viewing the menu and placing your order. When your order was ready they'd bring it out to you. The inside was closed, but there were plenty of tables available outside and there's nothing stopping you from walking across the street and eating your frozen deliciousness along the river. I had a scoop of coffee ice cream and it was amazeballs! Wifey had butter pecan (ewww. I've never understood this flavor), but I had to take her word for it when she said it was out-freakin'-standing. This is a great little place for a frozen pick-me-up when spending a day by the river walk. Or dessert on date night. Or just because you want to.

Located a mere feet off the walking bridge that takes you from Jeffersonville to Lousiville I can imagine this sweet shop gets A lot of visitors from guests before or after walking the bridge. The shop itself is mainly a dyi froyo shop where you pick your flavor of ice cream and select your own toppings. The prices are based off size of the cup and the amount of toppings chosen. The inside is smaller and setup with the ice cream machines and several yummy toppings. There absolutely is a topping for everyone. Anything you can think to put on ice cream they pretty much had. Out back they do have a patio with some outdoor seating which me and my family and some of my daughters friends took advantage of. We were all really satisfied with the frozen yogurt. Had a good flavor. I personally got a chocolate ice cream and put everything from Reese pieces, peanut butter cups, and cookie crumbles on it. I was satisfied for sure. Good taste and filled that ever lasting sweet tooth. Overall this is a cool shop with good options in an optimal location. A bit pricey. We all got the smaller sizes and a few toppings and it was around $8 a piece. So if your gonna get a topping or a cup remember you control the quantity so make sure you don't skimp on yourself. Definitely worth checking out especially on warmer days when out enjoying the nice riverfront area of the city.
