I called last week to get my carpets cleaned before Thanksgiving. Thinking it was a long shot because everyone wants their carpets cleaned before the holidays right? I was able to snag a cancellation they had and they came this morning. Mason called to say he would be out in 30 minutes and he was right on time! He came in and looked around, checked areas I was concerned about, wrote up my estimate and after my instant approval he got to work. He was extremely professional in his setting up, taking care to protect corners where his hoses or cords might hit. He pretreated areas of concern and was even able to remove an unknown stain from 18 years ago that I could never get out. Mason did an excellent job, this is my second time using Zerorez and I will never use anyone else. And right now they are running some specials that are worth taking advantage of, everything is on their website. read more

Outstanding work, outstanding service is how I describe Zerorez. After hearing about them on the radio, I called to give them a try. Upon calling them, I was very impressed with the professionalism; that goes a long way with me. I was informed of the current promotion going on. It turned out they had availability to come out and clean my basement carpet the next day. I know it doesn't always work out that way, but this time it did. Christian was the technician who did the cleaning. He was professional and polite. It took less than two hours to clean the basement carpet and stairs. The Ugly: My wife passed away last week after a 19 month fight. The celebration of her life starts tomorrow. The room she spent the last year in bed in was a mess from the 100's of visitors. The Bad: I want to have the room cleaned in the next 20 hours. The Good: I called ZeroRez with my problem. I had used them in the past, so was a "loyalty customer". My husband and I have always rented a carpet machine and done it ourselves but we decided to have our carpets professionally cleaned. One of our friends recommended Zerorez and we had been hearing their commercials, so we called them. We have a small house and only asked them to clean our upstairs (3 small bedrooms, 1 hallways, 1 small living room, 1 large dining room, and 1 split set of stairs). The initial special was $129 for 3 rooms so we knew the price would be higher than that. We have a dog so we knew the price would be higher for that. But the final bill was almost $700. If I would have known it was going to be almost $700, we would not have done it. Please know that this is not a review of the technician who came and did our carpet. The technician was wonderful and did a fantastic job. Our main complaint was the upcharge to such a high amount. We won't be back to Zerorez. read more

My carpet was suppose to be 3 rooms cleaned for 199.00. We had our small 3 bedroom upstairs cleaned.After it was done I ended up paying over $600. They kept adding different things and really wasn't expecting my final bill to be $600. The work was done very poorly. Our closet after spending over $100 still stinks. So the special cleaner did Not work. I would not use this business again and I definitely would not recommend it to anyone. read more

OK, now I get the "emporwered" water. It must be what they drink before they come to your door to build up the courage for the bait and switch routine. I called them for their $139.00 three room special. We had two bedrooms and a walk in closet. In addition, I asked them to clean two 7' by 9' area rugs (polyester and nylon). I figured $25 to $30 each. By the time the guy finished the quote, it was $375.00. That's right! $236.00 for two rugs which I had to carry out to the garage so they would not be on the wood floor below. They might do great work, but I can empower my own water and rent a Rug Doctor using soft water and their no residue soap and save over $300.00. read more

We had one company leave and it was soapy and still very very wet, Zerorez came in last week and cleaned our carpets, I was very happy. Worst experience ever!! Hired them to clean carpets in a house before I move in. 3 rooms upstairs and 3 downstair, a hallway and a stairway. 571.00. Came back 2 days later to check how they turned out. Didn't even look like they cleaned them. I am allergic to cats and would still start sneezing after a few minutes in the house. We revacuumed a few areas and what came out of the carpet was discussing. Called and complained and a manager came out and said he could reclean the carpets and get them cleaner. I didn't think so. I decided to buy new carpets because of the quality of the cleaning job and the cats. I asked for a refund and he said he couldn't do that. He kept calling someone. I asked for the name snd phone number of his boss and he wouldn't give it to me. I asked if I let him recleaned the carpet and I still wasn't happy could I get a refund or partial refund. He said no. I even asked if I could get credit on duct cleaning. No. So either way I was out 571.00. What a way to do business! I really feel like they took advantage of me. read more

I chose them as my carpet cleaner because of good feedback from friends but I found out they are much more than a carpet cleaning company - they are a customer service company. From the guy who scheduled the cleaning over the phone to the crew who showed up at my place, the experience was fun and easy going. They accurately set my expectations every step of the way - from when they would show up to how long the carpets were going to be wet. Ordering carpet cleaners was a 'check mark' on my list for the new place but the experience was more than a 'check-mark' and earned a 5 star review. read more

We have 2 year old carpets and our dog had had an accident in our room (the only accident she has ever had in our house in the two years of living there). After self cleaning, we thought we would get a thorough cleaning as a precaution to preserve the life of the carpet. We called Zerorez on a friend's recommendation and after reading about and being impressed by their process online. Their response was prompt and they offered to clean our carpet that very day (which should have been our first warning sign). Their technician was prompt and friendly. He sold us on their $129 dollar special since he was already doing one room and it would save us money. However what they don't tell you online is that there is a $60 dollar up charge if you mention pet treatment, and on top of that, there is a $60 dollar charge for every gallon of "empowered water" that they use/remove from the carpet which in our case was quoted in excess of $400 for one room. We elected to have him focus on the area of the accident which ended up costing $180 (which the bill says saved us $240). Despite the sticker shock, we thought we had gone above and beyond to protect the life of our carpet. In the ensuing week, the smell from the cleaner got worse and worse (there was no smell prior too their cleaning), and the room was almost unbearable to occupy, let alone sleep. We contacted another company to come out on a friends recommendation to see if this is normal, and they recommended calling Zerorez to come back out and repair the job. We contacted Zerorez and they returned after another week of waiting. Again, their technician was friendly and prompt with the service and repeated the same extraction process at no charge with the same resulting odor. Unsatisfied with the 90 day guaranteed promise, I contacted Zerorez customer service. They mentioned that the smell was not of their doing, and we should not have consulted another carpet cleaning company. They refused to refund any of the money and would only continue repairs after sending a test sample of the carpet off to their lab for testing (which could take several weeks to months). I also asked about the fees for extraction, and was told that the added cost accounts for the gas required to carry around large amounts of liquid in their vans. Subsequently, we contacted another carpet cleaning service who came out and re-cleaned all areas that Zerorez had cleaned in our house for $100 and the smell magically disappeared. Bottom line, we paid Zerorez $400 dollars only to pay another company to come out and repair their mess. read more

Danny & Dennis were fast, professional and even showed up early (of course they called ahead to make sure that would be OK). They were able to show us before/after photos of our ducts, which were totally disgusting before being cleaned! We hired Zerorez to clean the ducts because we were certain our allergies were being magnified due to the dirt. So far, we have been breathing easier and sneezing less! read more

We had Zerorez out to clean 3 rooms and hallway of carpet along with a kitchen and laundry of tile grout. Our scheduled time was between 10:00 and 1:00, she called at 9:39 to see if she could come early. Shauna started with the grout and was at it for about 1 1/2 hours. Our grout is a beige color but over the 16 years it has been in was a dark grey in the traffic areas. With the exception of a couple spots it looks new. We have 2 blind dogs so our carpet has stains. Our carpet is Lifeguard so the urine doesn't get absorbed by the pad. It took Shauna about a half hour to clean the carpets so at 11:40 she was completely done. Without hesitation I would recommend Zerorez to anyone needing carpet or tile cleaned. As far as the pricing goes the carpet was 3 rooms for $129 and the hallway was a extra $39 a great deal. The grout cleaning is $1 square foot and it ended up being $375 another deal considering the cost of replacement and it looking new. read more

We have two rooms that need carpets cleaned. I called because of the "3 rooms for $129" special I heard on the radio. They were able to come on a Saturday, great!! I asked several times while setting the appointment about pricing for cleaning dog urine. The person repeatedly told me that had to be assessed by the tech just prior to cleaning. I agreed to that. Once the tech arrived, he discussed the options available to us - it added either an additional $60 or an additional $300 to the price! (This was after telling us the rooms did smell, but weren't that bad.) We opted for the three room special with the $60 pet up-sell, as opposed to the $300 up-sell. The tech then refused to service us if we would not opt for the more expensive service. Can't comment on whether they do a good job or not. Completely disappointed and wouldn't suggest this company - classic bait and switch. We will report then to the BBB. read more

This was a quick process and the technician was polite and respectful and kind. He went about his work and kept us updated. Before we knew it he was gone and our rooms FELT clean. The air was fresh, but there was no overpowering perfume or cleaning agent smell which i appreciate since I'm allergic to those cleaners. First, the guys who came were super-nice, and at first, I was impressed. The 2 stars instead of one is for the guys. But about 2 weeks after they were here, one of my cats spilled his water bowl on the carpet they'd cleaned. Just water, no big deal. I grabbed paper towels to mop it up and prevent mold...the paper towels came away GRAY with dirt. I was shocked. This wasn't months later, or in a high traffic area. The towels should have been wet but not dirty. I won't have them back because their cleaning method apparently doesn't *clean*. Nice employees, but I wasted my money. :-( read more

If I could give this company a -0 for being below the positive line I would. I had this company clean my carpet only for them to cause damage to my wall. The company was not willing to accept responsibility they caused the damage. The company sent a technician over who tried to accuse the customer of causing the damage. He was looking around and on top of the dresser to see if anything had fallen. He then asked if the dresser could have tipped over. I then informed him nothing fell from my dresser and the dresser weighs over a hundred pounds. Why would a customer damage their own wall? He then became argumentative and informed me why didn't I go back to the previous company who cleaned my carpet. Not only did he bad mouth the company, but he lied and said he was going to have someone repair the damage his technician caused. Bottom line, don't have your carpet cleaned by this company. They had not problem cashing my check. They also did a horrible job cleaning my carpet. You can still see the dirt marks in my carpet and now my carpet has rolls in it. This company isn't built on honest, value and integrity. Go elsewhere, but don't go through them! read more

We had a great experience with Zerorez. The technicians arrived on time and were personable and professional. Scott & Jared did a great job cleaning our carpets. Our family room in particular was a challenge having never been cleaned and was the site of years of parties and abuse by very messy teenage/college age boys. They pretreated the worst spots and were able to remove the stains to our satisfaction. The only area they had difficulty with was some candle wax that had dripped into a small, out of the way area. Not a big deal for us. We knew it would be difficult to remove. Our rugs dried very quickly and look great. They feel nice and clean, not sticky or tacky like I've experienced with other carpet cleaners. Yes, you will pay more for this service. For us, it was money well spent. I am writing this review out of frustration with working with Zerorez. I had them come out to our house to clean 2 couches and 1 chair. The technician did a good job at cleaning all of the items. Unfortunately, they damaged the wood floor that was by one of the couches. Last year we had our floors sanded and refinished. When Zerorez came out, they somehow got water or some chemicals on the floor that seeped into the cracks and under the wood planks. The floor is only warped in front of the couch in some sections where they were working. Pete did come out and look at the damage and said he had to talk to his General Manager about the issue. According to Pete, the General Manager stated that there process would not cause that sort of damage. The problem is that the wood was not warped prior to them coming out and a day later it is warped. I did try calling to talk to either the General Manager or Owner of the business, but I could not get either one of them on the phone. They told the administrator to have everything go thru Pete. I am really surprised by the response of the management of the company. I would be wary of this company. To try to resolve, I am going to take them to small claims court to have them pay to have the floors repaired. I will update this post one I get resolution. read more
