Mr. Ayala designed and created the steel stair railings and banisters for our older home. The material was then powder coated black. Frankie also powder coated the old brackets, thus saving us having to purchase new ones. The older material was some fairly crummy looking wood with gaps that were too wide for current code, so we are super happy with the finished work. Frankie made several visits, measured all work multiple times, and kept in touch with us all through the project. He also worked very safely during the pandemic restrictions. Ive used Tripp for years and they…read morehave always been a little spotty on getting back to me with quotes, phone calls etc but the straw that broke the camels back happened over the course of the last couple months. Emailed for a repeat order in early May, no reply, called and they said ohh the salesman you emailed isnt with the company anymore (seemed to be the norm here, lots of turnover), so I talked to someone else who emailed me a quote on May 29th. The quote stated 2 week lead time. I promptly emailed back, ok'd the quote and told them to proceed. Emailed to check in at about 4 weeks, no reply, sort of forgot about it but now we need the product asap. Called and emailed 6 times over the last week with no reply. Tried sales, operator and FINALLY reached a short spoken person in human resources today. Come to find out my order was never placed/submitted and they couldnt tell me it could be done if it was submitted today. Apparently they recently sold off a portion of the company and its an even bigger clusterf#ck than before. Will not be returning and do not recommend you waste your time either.
