A few months after completion we had some problems with the patio pavers that was not entirely their fault, and they honored their work, no questions asked. Additionally, I had Shelly come out a year later after an awful experience with Permaseal. After spending $1,500 and 9 months trying to fix a leak in our basement, we had him come to quote us for a drain tile to be put in. Instead he recommended some cheap landscaping options and gave us tips to troubleshoot the source of the problem. My cost was FREE. I am happy to say we had barely any water this year, despite some enormous rains! Shelly's came on a strong referral. They lived up to the high expectations. They are nice guys, they do great work, and they do it the right way. Where others would have take my $3K and ran, they offered cheaper alternatives that ended up working just fine.

Gary told us he had looked up our property on RedFin and started making all kinds of assumptions based off a 10yr old photo and not taking into account a major remodel or our future landscaping plans. When I asked for a meeting, he essentially told me we didn't meet the minimum bid for them to do the work. No free estimate, no meeting, and he missed out on what was only phase 1 of a much larger project. They might do great work, but their rude customer service definitely missed the mark. UPDATE: 9/12/23 Eeeeek! Gary actually came to our home, without invitation and/or warning. Then called... after the visit? What company does that? He's obviously upset but to go to someone's home because he disagrees with feedback, is both aggressive and crosses all lines of professionalism.

Negotiated a very fair and affordable price, considering the volume of work which was required to complete the job! The very ample crew arrived right on time, worked together like well a oiled machine and were respectful of my flower garden and all plants which were well on the way, since it was mid spring. This was a Big Job and to our surprise, Mike and his crew were able to complete the large porch and re-position an extremely heavy and hand crafted wrought iron railing, which required every single man to set in place! It was a tough and fragile exercise, but they got it just right! The cleanup was spectacular and we were very pleased with the work and how beautiful it accents our front yard and the garden! Would Highly Recommend Mike and his crew to perform any and all of your concrete needs and designs!

I got a quote the same day I called Mike, and the job began the next day. In two days they had removed all the debri, and laid out the foundation. And within the week the cement was poured. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the work and the professionalism of the entire crew. Very nice people to work with, and Mike is a great communicator. Price wise, I think for this amount of work, it was also very reasonable, I highly recommend them.

Rico's Masonry will do an excellent job with your tuck pointing job…read more I work in the rehab business and have commissioned many bids from tuck pointers all around town and I have to say, these guys prices are a good 20-50% below the others. These guys are professional, do quality work and get in and out. What more could you look for in a tuck pointer, honestly? They have the skill to match red mortar using and acid wash upon completion and other "trade secrets" such as that. I was also further impressed with how they bricked up a window and even removed the limestone window sill... bravo! What a refreshing experience was to have a tuck pointer make a design offering such as that. The side wall now looks amazing and it's hard to tell a window used to be there. As does the front, and chimney... on and on. If you want to call over town, go right ahead. But if you just want to cut to the chase: call up Rico's and then just sit back and enjoy that beautiful brick house! Did I mention the prices? They are beyond fair. Seriously, call around and you will see for yourself.

They took their time, did everything and anything the way they would have done to their own homes. They walked me through what they were doing daily, showed me why they were doing what they were doing, and did immaculate work. Yes, they are more pricey than other companies, but with concrete and the way you need to control it, setting the correct pitch, knowing the village inspection codes, etc. it is well worth the extra cash. They are a crew of 4 and have been working a combined 130 years experience between them all. They do what most 10 men crew do. They not only poured, pitched, and gave me advice on other exterior enhancements but they caulked, helped me with my gutter extensions, and other little things they did not have to do. They go above and beyond and the cement truckers can attest to that.
