Not to be dramatic but I had some of the best sashimi ever here (otoro, chutoro, akami and yellowtail - even though I don't normally like yellowtail). The dishes were carefully assembled and plated, and the servers were very attentive the entire meal. Some dishes stood out more than others, and the ones that were most memorable, I've attached pictures of. I can't remember exactly what was in the dish but the one in the blue bowl included eggplant and changed flavors as I ate it, which was a nice, unexpected surprise. Every piece of meat was fresh, perfectly prepared, and cooked exactly how we wanted. The sake pairing took it all to another level. Their focus lies on the serious food game they play and damn they play it well. Their Katsu for example is piece of perfect crispyness which is just on point. No fancy garnish just the real deal. Ok I kind of lied about the fancyness since their bento does look kind of pretty BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT. They are good because of the taste and not because of their look. (And you can't blame bento for being simply concepted this way) I have only very few japanese restaurants I'd recommend and this is one of them.
