We walked by here after dinner and thought we were peeking in on a casino or sketchy private club.The building looks unoccupied and the entrance is marked only with a neon "893" sign. When we saw two people exit - a girl in a skimpy cocktail dress followed by a well-dressed woman with her baby in a carriage - we had to see what it was. Surprise! A new cool Japanese(-South American?) fusion spot right here in Wilmersdorf! Owned by the same group as Kuchi and Cocolo - how could this go wrong? We were too late for food, but the front area of the restaurant serves as a bar/lounge, so we stopped for a drink. The cocktail list was unique and in the expected price range (9-13 Euro?). Unfortunately their cocktail list isn't online yet, but my fruity cocktail with miso paste(!) was delicious. Can't wait to go back to try the food! Taking a peek at the menu, they have all kinds of great stuff like Ankimo (monkfish liver) that's not so common in Berlin. The restaurant was clearing out when we were there just before midnight, but the friendly bartender warned that reservations are recommended for the restaurant area. read more

I wonder why would a restaurant, no matter how modern and classy it claims to be would display, right there by the entrance, framed photos of BDSM... Some people actually come for dinner with kids and some just don't like to see this on the wall of a restaurant. As for the food, many miles behind NYC, London, Dubai and many not so posh but much more tasty Asian restaurants... mediocre, fish had not a very pleasant taste and odor. All the "talk of the town" in reality is all for nothing... 2 stars only because our servant was very attentive and professional... not coming back here for sure. Berlin can offer far better sushi and Asian food. read more

For a Japanese person, the name is pretty shocking and you feel like okay... yet another weird japanese restaurant... BUT this is not that kind of place! Behind those big mirror is hidden a really chic restaurant that reminds you of New York (well I haven't been there but I've watch Sex in the city ;) ) You have a central kitchen area where you can see the chef cooking. The waiters wear all black but are really nice an friendly and make you feel like at home! And the food... ow the food... compare to other good japanese restaurant in Berlin where the food (without drinks) starts at 60euros. We manage to eat everytime around 50euros with drinks included which was a plus. And it is SO GOOD. All the dishes are Japanese food with an original twist but you have normal sushi and sashimi too. The fish are fresh and so tasty... and i think this is the only place in Berlin where you can eat Mentaiko spaguetti :) :) It's a hidden gem worth a try! I went there twice this week and I will definitely go back!! read more

We made a reservation online a week ago and when we got there they told us we didn't have a reservation. Even after we showed them the confirmation they only kept scrambling to figure out what to do but made no gesture at all. We said we'd leave and their response was simply "bye". Not even a sorry.
