Anytime we think sushi, we head to Zen! The rolls were amazing and delicious! We had an odd number of people, so it was a short wait. Service was good but a bit crowded. It was a busy Friday night. We will be back for more rolls soon!

This is the sushi boat for two with sashimi, nigiri, and sushi. It also came with either choice of salad or soup for two.

My daughter looked up a place for us to go have sushi as we were having a mother daughter weekend in Asheville. She found this place and we went and it was the best place that we ate at all weekend long. The service was fantastic the place was clean the food was delicious. I'll definitely eat there again when we're in the area. If you love sushi, this is the place for you.

Spicy Tuna Roll & Spider Roll; both were delicious!

Great takeout experience this evening! We ordered a few sushi rolls and an appetizer; easy fast service over the phone and our food was ready shortly. We ordered spring rolls, a Spider Roll (fried soft shell crab, cucumber, lettuce, avocado and mango), a Sweetheart Roll (spicy crunchy shrimp, cucumber & avocado inside; salmon, lemon slices, & wasabi mayo sauce on top) and a Spicy Tuna Roll. Everything was great; we truly loved it all and ate it all! The sushi was well made and extremely flavorful. We also enjoyed the spring rolls, they were hot & crispy and the sauce on the side was delicious. The sushi was the star. Would love to dine in next time we're in town and sample some more sushi rolls and explore the menu. Thank you for a great dinner!

Crazy Tuna* was a good roll that was fresh tasting.

We stumbled across this place on a busy Friday night. They graciously saved a table for us after a quick phone call and the dishes we ordered were all enjoyable. The fish and veggies were fresh and the staff were all friendly. If you order one thing off their menu I recommend the jalapeño bomb appetizer!

We appreciate the Yelp recommendations to try Wasabi…read more I am often skeptical of places along a main tourist area but Wasabi is the real deal...at least for the area. We were quickly seated at the sushi bar and the restaurant filled up quickly with other lunch clientele after that time. Sushi chef was efficient and our eel roll was fresh and delicious. Only 8 pieces so not that large. Would have paid more for a larger portion as we were sharing everything. Hot melt in your mouth yummy shumai were devoured. I saved some wasabi to add a little spice. Tempura appetizer included 2 large shrimp and veggie assortment. All around good meal!

I ordered a house salad and 3 sushi tolls - sweet potato, avocado, and mushroom and cream cheese (which I had never seen before). The prices were not bad for sushi. We came on Saturday night of a holiday weekend. We weren't expecting to be sat down right away because of how packed downtown was that night, but we were happy to get a table for two right away! Service did take a while, but we understood because of how full it was. Once we ordered, the food came out quickly and the add-ons we requested, like sauce, came out right away! I was let down by the house salad because it did not seem fresh. The ginger dressing was delicious, but some of the lettuce looked like it had been cut a while ago or stored for a while. The sweet potato roll was great, but I wish it had been dressed up a little bit perhaps with a drizzle of eel sauce on top. They brought me a side of the eel sauce quickly, though, when I asked, which was very appreciated. The avocado roll was top tier - fresh and a nice portion of avocado in the roll. The mushroom and cream cheese roll was interesting. It was probably my least favorite, but I just don't usually go for raw mushrooms. I wished they could have a veg combo with cream cheese, like with cucumber or another fresh veggie. Overall, we had a positive experience, but maybe knowing it had been so highly rated, I had higher expectations. I'd like to go back and try some of their non-sushi items, which looked good too.

It was not overly busy, but definitely on the noisy side, which was expected due to all the hard surfaces. It could get loud if it was busy. I was greeted promptly, and my server arrived moments after I sat down. I ordered the Miso soup, a Red Blossom roll with tempura shrimp, and the Yakisoba with chicken. The miso soup was great, a 5. The red blossom roll was very good, tasty with a nice crunch from the tempura, a 4.5. The yakisoba portion was huge, it was a bit on the savory / bland side for my taste, but it's been a good 10 years since my last yakisoba, so a 3.5. I'll likely get two lunches out of the leftovers. The men's room was very clean. Overall, a four star rating. I may well be back, if so, next time I'll either get a second hand roll, or try something else. Their hibachi dishes sound interesting.

I'm honestly really disappointed and won't be coming back. I've had a great experience here before,…read morewhich is why I brought my boyfriend for his first visit, but this time was a complete letdown--especially for the price. My boyfriend ordered the miso ramen and said the broth lacked flavor, the pork was way too chewy, and even the corn wasn't good. I got the Ito Ramen Deluxe, but it was overly smoky, the noodles were rubbery, and the pork was also too chewy. I couldn't even finish it. The only thing I actually enjoyed was the seasoned egg. The gyoza was decent, but it honestly tasted like it might be store-bought. The service didn't help either. Our server, Abby, wasn't very pleasant, and the drink options were extremely limited. Overall, I left feeling very disappointed. For the price, I could make better ramen at home for way cheaper.
