Chris is very off-putting and not very personable and I didn't feel very welcome at first but the massage went okay. I decided to go back a second time because I felt like it helped in some ways, but he really hurt me this second time. I could feel my shoulder blade popping a lot and when I winced he whispered into my ear just "you feel that?". Then he had the audacity to give me a hard time for having a "stiff neck" and said it was "all in my head". I have been feeling crappy all day the next day. I was trying to give him a chance but honestly he is rude and I think I can do better. He is not very welcoming to newcomers nor is he gentle at times. I would say that if he just kept his mouth shut instead of acting like a know-it-all, the process would have maybe garnered him 3 stars. Besides, if something were wrong, all he had to do was tell me to relax and help me with releasing more tension for him to work with. Don't give me flack for something that I can't help. I'm still nervous and new to massages as a way of therapy. Not a great way to keep a customer. I won't be coming back. Too expensive to have someone treat me like garbage and also make me feel bad too. Would give zero stars if I could!!!

I showed up for my appointment and completed a one-page check in sheet about pains, etc. Then I was in my room, undressed, under the sheet in no time. I picked the Tai/Combo massage (from the website: techniques from Thai, Swedish, deep tissue and other styles). I was in heaven. The woman doing the massage rubbed on me, and was up on the table with me a couple of times to stretch and move my body around. It was all wonderful. My hour was up and I felt like jelly. At checkout, they gave me a bottle of water and that was nice. I am all for self-care these days, and this was a good way to spend $70 for an hour of Zen.

With that said, not only did I NOT receive a thai massage, they had me undress (which you don't do in thai massage) and what followed was the worst massage of my life. I booked a traditional thai massage, confirmed when I got to the desk, and then restated that's what I wanted when they found me fully clothed waiting. They told me THEIR thai massage had oil and I was to remove my clothes but keep my underwear on. I told them I just wanted a traditional Thai Massage. (Which shouldn't be in their business name and on their menu if that's not what they do?) I 1,000% know it is illegal to uncover someone's glutes fully, but that didn't stop my therapist from pulling not only the blanket down to my thighs, but also pulling my underwear (a thong which already exposed the sides of my glutes) down to my thighs, fully exposing my entire butt. Let me be clear, this is absolutely illegal and unprofessional, there is a law specifically stating you cannot do this. EVER. - not to mention I am a female and my therapist was a male. It was clear this therapist wasn't trained in hot stones (something else I'm trained in), and the massage itself was abysmal. If they were in massage school and this was their final, they would not pass. And they shouldn't have. Afterwards I again asked the front desk about ACTUAL Thai Massage and if they dont have thai massage where else does - they said that there's one woman on staff who provides it (who obviously wasn't available when I came in). I don't know why she didn't just tell me this to begin with instead of take my money and my peace of mind. I left here a thoroughly unsatisfied customer. If the (NOT Thai) Massage had been good, I wouldn't have been so upset over her deception. But to lie to me, and then get something so sub par? I would NEVER do this to a client. I'd give 0/5 stars if I could. And truly unless you know a therapist at this business that's actually good, I wouldn't recommend anyone go. I even came on yelp to read the reviews and thought it'd be a good choice. Nope.

I arrived and the lady at the counter told me about the lomi lomi massage, which is a little different from the Swedish massage. You are fully naked (my masseuse was very respectful to keep the lady bits covered at all time) and they use their elbows and hands to do a long flowing massage on your entire body It was very relaxing. She ender up using hot stones too for an additional $10 because my back muscles were very tense. An hour later and I was about to fall asleep and felt like jelly. With tip it was under $150. Money very well spent! This is a very quiet place and I have seen it in this location for many years (I used to go to the nail salon next door). I'm glad I finally tried it out! I will return!!

I tried chiropractic care, physical therapy, and various other massage therapist. Only 1 massage therapist has made a significant positive difference - and he lives all the way in Washington State! I scoured the internet and yelp for medical massages - I don't need the fluff of a spa or a place to relax, I needed someone to get in there and work out that pinched nerve! I needed results! I can't thank Ross enough for how much time and care she took when working on me last week. She was thorough, and had lots of tricks up her sleeves including aromatherapy and some metal scraping tools. I have never had someone use a fascia tool on me and was absolutely thrilled!! Ohhh wee....I was in pain on the table and was sore after...but the massage worked! My pain isn't as bad and for the first time in 4 months i was able to sleep on the side of the pinched nerve!! I found my GO TO massage therapist in Dallas and am considering getting a membership for a 1 hour tune up per month to see Ross.
