My dog Fudge

My dog name is Fudge & he has been going to Zen a while now & I no complaints. They do an amazing job everytime I bring Fudge I'm pleased. The costumer service is great. I give them a 10/10 ratings.

They did an amazing job on my two dogs in record time and costs appropriately. 5 stars and my hats off to the groomers at Zen Animals! They also infuse the pets in their homemade oil after so they have a lingering smell of freshness. I'm definitely a fan!

My local groomer closed down, so I took my 15lb schnauzer to this place for the first time. They did a great job with the bath/haircut and cut his nails/cleaned ears. They sent him home with a bow tie and they also apply essential oils perfume at check out and he still smelled great 5-6 days later! Would return!

The new and improved milo.

I was looking for a groomer for my 11 month old puppy, milo and found this company on Thumbtack. I loved the great communication and follow up throughout the entire process. All of my questions were answered in a timely and professional manner. I decided to get the grooming, haircut and bath package inside my home. I did inquire if the groomer was vaccinated and to ensure covid protocols were followed up and it was. During the intake process I informed them to send someone patient because I knew Milo was not going to make it easy for them and his little crazy behind didn't. Lmao. Thank God, the groomer, Jonathan was very patient yet consistent with milo and was able to get the job done professionally. Milo was way overdue for a hair cut and when I saw him I thought I had a brand new puppy. I didn't hear too much resistance from milo but I did hear a lot of positive feedback from the groomer, "that's a good boy milo" and a few "no milo, come back milo" I stayed out the room in order for the groomer to handle everything with minimal distractions. The grooming session seemed very thorough and I was very pleased with the results. I had a concern about milos nails and notified the company and they responded right away with an explanation and it made sense especially around safety issues. I would definitely use this company again to groom my sweet but wild baby milo.

That's my Chihuahua mix getting her aromatherapy treatment. Cee-Cee look like new money. Great customer service.

This is my third visit and the quality of services I received have been consistently great. My Chihuahua was bathed and received a shedding treatment. This is our third shedding treatment and I definitely noticed a reduction in shedding. I was deeply concerned about my Chihuahua because she doesn't work well with other dogs however when we arrived she entered the location with no fuss, actually greeted the groomer, and the services were completed within an 1.5 hour. The great customer services and consistent quality grooming makes this place a regular in our grooming needs. (And it's around the corner from my home). The next day you will receive a text to rate your experiences. That text made me feel that my feedback matters to the business. Make an appointment immediately today.

I decided to try them because I've been receiving text message alerts from them for sometime ! I must've scheduled before and didn't go thru with it but I'm happy I chose them this time ! I got the groom + bath package and added on anxiety tincture & teeth brushing . my baby's breath is fresh , and her cut is exactly how I asked the receptionist also let me give her some complimentary perfume before we left . I will be back

Very friendly staff and very welcoming. Checking in was a breeze and was done so safely with staff wearing mask. Mia was handled with love and care and had a complete bath/grooming package along with nail clipping. I wanted her to be shaved down fully because she was in desperate need of that. I was informed Mia should be done within 2.5 hours and she was ready within 2. I'll gladly take her back for another cut and bath. Great service!

My second time here and they do a good job. My Chloé loves her summer cut and so do we! My baby always smells so good after her spa day and the customer service is great!

I've been here twice now and each time has been great. Zen Animals caught my eye because they groom in stages which is how I groom my dog. They're the first groomers I've seen who actively work to make sure your dog is relaxed and even offer CBD and canning essential oils as part of the service. My dog normally hates going to the groomers which is why I've groomed him at home, but those professional shears really do make a difference. I did a test run and brought moochie in for a Neil trimming which took all of 15 min. I held him while they used the grinder since his nails are black. His full bath grooming appointment was two weeks later and my boo dropped him off in the late morning. We initially were given 5 hours later but when we went to pick him up he wasn't ready. They said about another 30 min so we just chilled and waited in the store. I liked being able to see them groom my dog and when moochie was done he came back super chill and not at all a nervous wreck. The staff at the front are incredibly nice and fun to talk to. I've definitely found my go to dog groomer!

I'm very satisfied with the service I received. Grooming was on point . We will definitely be returning customers.

Never again. I'm worried about how they treated my dog while she was there. This is the work of a lazy groomer.

I paid $139 for my 10-lb dog to be chopped up. Her look for the summer is giving shaved chicken. The groomer did a horrible job and didn't care about how they made her look. Please look at the pictures for reference. By the way, my dog's breed is Shorkie.

Zen Animals did not answer their phone, nor call me 6 hours after I dripped my dog off to them

With that being said, I'm VERY happy with paws & Recs and the care that they provide for my baby while I'm away. He's been a total of 3 times and I am happy when he's there. Here are the pros: - SUPER spacious!!! I loveeeee the amount of room that there is for the dogs to run and play all day long including the back yard area. - They do really nice things for the dogs such as pool days when the weather is super hot. - My baby always comes back in a great mood and exhausted! He gets so much exercise and mental stimulation during the day. - You can get updates on how your dig is doing during the day by reaching out to Jenny or checking their Instagram stories. This makes me so happy as they regularly update their daily activities. - Lots of treats and water for the dogs during the day. - Staff informs you of their day at pick up :) You can tell they really care about your dog. - They have extended care hours if requested for reasonable pricing. - Super organized with cubbies for your dogs belongings so no mix ups there I highly recommend and we'll be back!

What I love about Paws & Rec is that they pickup the dogs for a full two hours. Your dog gets experience walking with their "pack" and makes other doggy friends they'll see consistently. They get a ton of off leash time in one of the various dog runs in the area. On each walk, they'll sometimes visit up to 3 different parks. Jenny was very easy to work with and setup a meet and greet with Jeffrey (my 4month old Goldendoodle) and her son Christian. My walker, Stan, is SO professional and awesome. He updates his Instagram with photos and an insta story during every walk so you can see footage of your baby running around and playing. It's awesome! During Jeffrey's first walk, we had a mini crisis with a faulty apartment key (my fault). Jenny and Stan were super professional, and brought Jeffrey to a nearby Paws & Rec sitter's house until I could run from work to pick him up. I was so thankful Jeffrey was in safe hands! They didn't even charge me for all their extra effort. I really couldn't recommend Paws & Rec more. Super professional, reliable, and trustworthy. *They also offer full day field trips to doggy friendly destinations!

The team is incredibly warm, thorough, and genuinely invested in the well-being of every dog who walks through their door. What I love most is that their philosophy of dog care mirrors high-quality child care -- attentive, structured, and deeply compassionate. It aligns perfectly with the kind of love and care that I give Tucci at home, which makes it easy to trust them and feel safe sending him there. One of my favorite parts of the day is receiving the photos and videos they send. It's clear from every update that Tucci is happy, engaged, and in great hands. He loves it there! I am so grateful to have Prospect Bark in the neighborhood. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, joyful, and nurturing place for their pup.

Hello! I wanted to kindly remind this business that it is illegal to perform "working interviews"…read morewithout compensation. Working interviews are legally considered trial employment, which requires at least minimum wage. When asked by a prospective employee if this will be a paid trial, the owner responded to them saying that if that matters to them, the job probably won't work out. Aside from legally, that's pretty morally gross. Especially in the current job market. Nobody should be expected to work for free, even if that job involves hanging out with dogs! Dogs are great. We love our dog. We love him so much, we even feed him! Which is hard to do when being denied pay for labor. Just something for this business to consider changing moving forward, and maybe something prospective employees and clientele should be aware of.

He was absolutely amazing with my dog and never failed to treat Malia like a true queen. Her cut was always perfection and he would love when I text him photos. I called today to book a grooming appointment and the gentleman who answered said grooming services are suspended our groomer died. Cold callused and without empathy or compassion. Of course if I was absolutely shocked devastated and so hurt to hear this. Peter our beloved Peter has died suddenly and this is how we were told. What did she use to create suds??? Anyways upon picking up my puppy from her van she said that he got a little water in his eyes that he should be fine ... HOWEVER ...he was far from fine as matter of fact he immediately started to swell up around his right eye and was trying to gouge his eyes out .. the groomer as I was texting her said that I should let him sleep it out and he'd fine the next day My puppy was far from falling asleep he was in so much pain and he wouldn't stop scratching his right eyes ... I called his vet right away thankfully they were able to see him ASAP .... It turns out my puppy had a conjunctivitis ulcer from whatever went in his eyes during grooming ( the entire experience was horrific!!!) puppy's right eye was shut close and swollen .... What a horrible experience!!!! I have to cancel doggy daycare for the next 10 days as well as potty training which he was signed up for ... my family had a trip planned for vacation which will most likely have to be cancel as well ...because the vet said that the puppy needed antibiotics 3x/ day for the next 7 days directly into his eyes ( you can only imagine how difficult this process would be ) Anyways turns out the groomer actually blamed me the puppy owner for all of this Here I was trying to give my very expensive goldendoodle a very good first bath experience with apparently a very inexperienced groomer!!! I didn't think she's well experienced for grooming puppies she clearly made some weird ingredients got into his eyes but she was so defensive and turned the horrific incident on myself!!!! She said that my puppy was injured form before that I should have something ( My puppy has his checkup current and we treat him like family if he was injured why would I sigh him up for grooming??) she went on to say that vets in my area where I lived didn't know what they were talking about and they only wanted to rip People off!!! The traumatizing experience is to watch your pet swell up and is in so much pain after a simple bath session then on top of it all to have the groomer turn out to be nasty and blames the pet owner ... I will most definitely not use this site again!!!!! My vet bill was $300 and since there's a wat period for new puppy I'm paying not the insurance company also the bath session was 107 I gave her $125 So $432 later and my pet was so sick !!!! Not worth it !!!! So traumatic!!!!!
