I reached out to this company Wednesday the 15th after seeing its reviews on Google. Raheim was…read morequick to respond and was at our house by 6pm to take a look at our needs; two trees in the front needing trimmed and multiple trees in the backyard, including one that had multiple branches hanging over our sunroom. He said he could call his crew in and start right away. We were hesitant since it was late but Raheim was adamant he and his team could get it done. He started on our front trees while he waited for the crew. By the time they got here it was getting dark. I again expressed concern to Raheim and he again insisted they could get it all done before it got dark. By the time they finished the front and went to the back, it was difficult to see. I again suggested we reschedule to finish as what needed done was close to our house and shed and I worried something would get damaged. Raheim said no they would finish it and asked me if I had a spotlight. A spotlight. I looked over and noticed one area was VERY bare; the crew had cut down a tree Raheim and I agreed would stay. I was upset and insisted they stop since they couldn't see and to come back Friday the 19th to finish the job. Raheim said he would replace the tree and sent us information of where to select the item Raheim was supposed to pick up our replacement tree he agreed to buy Thursday. Friday, he says he will be there by 9:30am. 8:55am he asks if we had picked out our tree then recommended not planting it until a month later (see photos) I was working from home but went out to meet the crew at 9:45am and make sure they knew what needed to be cleared out. They were not clear on what all needed to go. Raheim showed up around 10:30am, informed me if I wanted my back sunroom roof completely clear of tree limbs that we would need to pay more. I was told clearing the limbs showed more limbs higher up and that would cost more. As the professional, I would have expected him to bring this to my attention prior to agreeing to clear our sunroom. Raheim said he was going up front for a smoke...and I never saw him again. I was stuck trying to work while supervising his team to make sure the job was done. To top things off, when his crew finished, I thanked them and asked if Raheim would be coming back for payment. They called him, he called me and said he'd be back "later in the evening" to pick up the check. He showed up at 2pm looking for the check (see photos). I really enjoyed meeting Raheim and his energy and know-how was very marketable. However, that is where the professionalism ended.

The quality and value received for cutting down such a Monster of a Tree with moss was outstanding. I think if the ground was dry I wouldn't have known they were here because they cleaned up so well. I tried to support a small local tree service. Search on Yelp and contact this MOX company for a…read morequote. The owner was prompt, on time for a quote. Sounded knowledgeable and eager to work. We agreed to trim all to the fence line in the back, as well as trimming of a row of bushes, and two big ones in the front on a fixed price. They showed up on time the next day with a mid-size truck, with four family members, only one seemed like a professional worker. There was no chipper, and they had to cut the branches by chain saws to stack on the truck. Half way on the side, he wanted to charge $300 more to cut down a small tree, about 10-12 inches trunk on our property. I didn't have budget, so we skipped it. To the back, which was the main reason that I need to clear to the fence line, because of the branches grew from the other easement side, that have grown reaching the power line, then he threw tantrums. Upsetting, yelling, climbing on a ladder with an extended chainsaw trying to cut it. He finally cleared some of it, but I'd rather not risking to have him fall, so I gave up, kept telling him to stop. Next, this rental property was neglected by the tenants, therefore the backyard ground was littered with leaves, small branches. I assumed that was part of clean up after the job, but he said he did me an extra favor to blow them off. So, if you hire him, spelled it out. I also had another two gardeners to mow and clear the front lawn. They went ahead trimming the row of bushes and two big ones, which he supposed to do. That gave him a break. Basically, his semi-truck wouldn't fit all the branches if he did the whole thing as agreed. A tip, call Duke Energy and request them for a tree trimming near their power line. They will come out and do it for a free of charge. Save yourself from expense and headaches.
