I reached out to this company Wednesday the 15th after seeing its reviews on Google. Raheim was quick to respond and was at our house by 6pm to take a look at our needs; two trees in the front needing trimmed and multiple trees in the backyard, including one that had multiple branches hanging over our sunroom. He said he could call his crew in and start right away. We were hesitant since it was late but Raheim was adamant he and his team could get it done. He started on our front trees while he waited for the crew. By the time they got here it was getting dark. I again expressed concern to Raheim and he again insisted they could get it all done before it got dark. By the time they finished the front and went to the back, it was difficult to see. I again suggested we reschedule to finish as what needed done was close to our house and shed and I worried something would get damaged. Raheim said no they would finish it and asked me if I had a spotlight. A spotlight. I looked over and noticed one area was VERY bare; the crew had cut down a tree Raheim and I agreed would stay. I was upset and insisted they stop since they couldn't see and to come back Friday the 19th to finish the job. Raheim said he would replace the tree and sent us information of where to select the item Raheim was supposed to pick up our replacement tree he agreed to buy Thursday. Friday, he says he will be there by 9:30am. 8:55am he asks if we had picked out our tree then recommended not planting it until a month later (see photos) I was working from home but went out to meet the crew at 9:45am and make sure they knew what needed to be cleared out. They were not clear on what all needed to go. Raheim showed up around 10:30am, informed me if I wanted my back sunroom roof completely clear of tree limbs that we would need to pay more. I was told clearing the limbs showed more limbs higher up and that would cost more. As the professional, I would have expected him to bring this to my attention prior to agreeing to clear our sunroom. Raheim said he was going up front for a smoke...and I never saw him again. I was stuck trying to work while supervising his team to make sure the job was done. To top things off, when his crew finished, I thanked them and asked if Raheim would be coming back for payment. They called him, he called me and said he'd be back "later in the evening" to pick up the check. He showed up at 2pm looking for the check (see photos). I really enjoyed meeting Raheim and his energy and know-how was very marketable. However, that is where the professionalism ended. read more

I have used Rahiem and his crews for many years and have spent MANY THOUSANDS of dollars on many projects. all were good until last year when his crew worked on a fence in my backyard and it was agreed that some pea gravel would be put down, didnt happen, this year his crew worked on a fence extension to my chainlink fence so the neighbors dogs could not jump over, his crew did a crappy job, did not do what they said they would, used nails instead of screws, the posts suck and are not cemented correctly and will move, some of the boards are already cracked, and then he ghosted me for almost 3 weeks. one of his mexican crew came a week later, and I threw him off my yard, and fired them both. get EVERYTHING in writing, and he will probably still find a cheap way to get around what he said he would do! he is not a man of his word which he claims he is. good luck read more

We had a tree come down over the weekend and knew it needed to be removed. I contacted Elephant Trunk after hours and left a message. The next day I got a text that Raheim would call did shortly and he did! We planned for him to come over the next day and assess the situation. The next day Raheim came over and we walked the yard. He understood my concerns about the fallen tree and planned to take it. He also recommended trimming and removing other trees. The office shared estimates for three projects and we booked to have the fallen tree removed and trees trimmed the next day. Raheim and the team showed up and got right to work. The tree was cut up and removed and the trimming was done in less than two hours! You'll see in the pictures that our yard looks great and is super tidy. I cannot recommend Elephant Trunk and Raheim enough. He's super friendly and professional and doesn't try to run up the price. The team is great and very respectful of your property. We will definitely use Elephant Trunk again. We're moving forward with our second project next week - more pics to come! read more

I absolutely recommend Elephant trunk tree and landscaping. Raheim (owner) promptly came to my property to give me a free quote for removal of my dead Elm tree and stump grinding. After comparing it with others I chose his company and I'm so happy that I did. Raheim and his whole crew were very punctual, skilled, professional, efficient and friendly. Really couldn't ask for more when it comes to servicing my property. It's tough to know who to hire for jobs that change the looks of your own property and making sure it's done correctly and safely, but do not hesitate, give these guys a call! read more

I contacted Raheim to remove a large oak tree that had been damaged by multiple lightning strikes. He was very professional and responsive which was important as I do not live in the Charlotte area so I needed someone I felt I could trust to deal with my rental property. Raheim is a top notch professional and businessman. To highlight his character, there was a mishap with my credit card that resulted in numerous charges for the service. Raheim acted quickly and wired a cash refund to my checking account in less than a day ($11k to be exact). I'd highly recommend Raheim for any of your landscaping needs. read more

Wanted to give a 5-star shout out to Raheim Greer and his tree service guys, Romeo and Lewis. They did a great job on our two old maple trees in our front yard. Trimming, pruning, deadwooding and canopy reduction. There was a LOT of clean-up involved, after everything was done, and the guys did a great job getting everything picked up and hauled off. If you need any kind of tree work done, these are the people to do the job! They know their stuff. From a very Happy customer! read more

My wife is adding photos of the job, but had to do a review as well, I have dealt with a lot of landscaping companies in 25 years in charlotte (I have a lot of trees), this company was BY FAR the best, very responsive to my time and needs, went above and beyond instead of just filling in the hole left from the removed tree, they leveled it out filled the hole and at no xtra charge put down seed and hay, they did the best cleanup job of any company so far. They ARE my new go to company! read more

I called Elephant Trunk in the morning for a quote, and by 5 pm the tree was gone. Raheim's response was astonishing considering how other tree services take days (weeks!) to return a call. He and his crew are fast and friendly, and I highly recommend them. read more

Raheim is terrific! Thursday i was out by the mailbox and he passed by and gave me his card; friday i called him for an estimate at 5 pm and he came over within the hour, very professional, extremely friendly. The estimate was reasonable so we decided to go with him because of the great reviews, his professional manner and we just liked him. He said he'd be over with the crew by 10 a.M. The next day - later than usual because it was a saturday. However they started showing up before 8 a.M. And were hard at work immediately. Our back yard needed a lot of work, a lot of different kinds of things needed to be removed and hauled off. The job he thought would take 3 days was completed beautifully in only one day. We then went together to pick out materials for the landscaping, and he kept pointing out ways i could save money. He wrote out a contract for the work, which was also professional. He also trims trees and repairs decks. The cleanup was perfect too. read more
