Raheim was…read morequick to respond and was at our house by 6pm to take a look at our needs; two trees in the front needing trimmed and multiple trees in the backyard, including one that had multiple branches hanging over our sunroom. He said he could call his crew in and start right away. We were hesitant since it was late but Raheim was adamant he and his team could get it done. He started on our front trees while he waited for the crew. By the time they got here it was getting dark. I again expressed concern to Raheim and he again insisted they could get it all done before it got dark. By the time they finished the front and went to the back, it was difficult to see. I again suggested we reschedule to finish as what needed done was close to our house and shed and I worried something would get damaged. Raheim said no they would finish it and asked me if I had a spotlight. A spotlight. I looked over and noticed one area was VERY bare; the crew had cut down a tree Raheim and I agreed would stay. I was upset and insisted they stop since they couldn't see and to come back Friday the 19th to finish the job. Raheim said he would replace the tree and sent us information of where to select the item Raheim was supposed to pick up our replacement tree he agreed to buy Thursday. Friday, he says he will be there by 9:30am. 8:55am he asks if we had picked out our tree then recommended not planting it until a month later (see photos) I was working from home but went out to meet the crew at 9:45am and make sure they knew what needed to be cleared out. They were not clear on what all needed to go. Raheim showed up around 10:30am, informed me if I wanted my back sunroom roof completely clear of tree limbs that we would need to pay more. I was told clearing the limbs showed more limbs higher up and that would cost more. As the professional, I would have expected him to bring this to my attention prior to agreeing to clear our sunroom. Raheim said he was going up front for a smoke...and I never saw him again. I was stuck trying to work while supervising his team to make sure the job was done. To top things off, when his crew finished, I thanked them and asked if Raheim would be coming back for payment. They called him, he called me and said he'd be back "later in the evening" to pick up the check. He showed up at 2pm looking for the check (see photos). I really enjoyed meeting Raheim and his energy and know-how was very marketable. However, that is where the professionalism ended.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Tree Masters -- and I was not even their…read morecustomer. Tree Masters was hired to perform tree work at the property behind my home. Their crew entered my fenced backyard without my permission. My 80-year-old mother happened to be at my home and was apparently told what they were doing, but she is not the homeowner and I was never contacted or asked for permission to access my property. When I returned home, I found that my fence had been taken apart and was not properly secured afterward, with a panel missing. At least two of my outdoor lanterns were broken and piled off to the side, my hammock had been tossed aside, landscaping material I had intentionally placed for weed suppression had been removed, and hydrangeas I had planted had been trampled and were no longer apparent. I contacted Tree Masters and arranged to meet with them at my home to discuss the damage and give them an opportunity to make things right. They arrived approximately 45 minutes late to the scheduled meeting. What happened next was particularly concerning. During the meeting, Spencer introduced Chris to me as the homeowner of the property where Tree Masters had been working. I subsequently confirmed that Chris is **not** the homeowner. I went into the meeting hoping for a straightforward conversation: acknowledge what happened, repair the fence, address the damaged items and landscaping, and move forward as neighbors and professionals. Instead, I left the meeting with even greater concerns about how the situation was handled. Accidents can happen during tree work. What I find unacceptable is entering someone's fenced property without the homeowner's permission, leaving that property damaged and disturbed, and then handling the resulting concerns in this manner. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Tree Masters. If their work on your property may require access to a neighbor's yard, I strongly suggest making sure that permission is obtained directly from that property owner beforehand.
