She got a bit of information from me regarding the project, then passed along Greg's contact information and told me I'd be hearing from him that same day. Greg called shortly after, then we set an appointment that worked well for my schedule 2 days later. He even took care to mention the forecast to be sure I'd be alright meeting on a rainy day if needed. On the day of our appointment, I requested that he let me know when he was on his way, and he did so. Greg showed up on time, was very friendly, and gave me an in depth opinion on the health of the tree in question. He seemed very honest and trustworthy, and took time to explain any potential risks and what to look for on the tree in the future if it's health starts to change. He also provided me with a few ballpark quotes if I ever did choose to remove it. I will absolutely be calling AAA Tree Services if I need any other tree needs met. Wonderful experience and employees!

The "grapple & drag" machine that they use to move the downed timber could not handle the hill and wet ground so it turned into a much more labor intensive job than anticipated. It didn't slow them down they carried every log out of the backyard and up the hill to their trucks. CLT also took the time to clean up the small stuff that naturally ends up all over the place, and Barry even gave me some tips on sharpening my own chain saw. Oh, yeah- and the pricing was great! Highly recommended.

The day he said he'd come back out to take another look he decided to cancel on me to tell me "his gut feeling" wasn't right for the job. Would recommend going with a tree service that feels confident in their work. Wasted a couple weeks of my time. Will have to go back to other companies that gave me a quote to get back in their work queue... Strange experience to say the least when someone tells you they can do a job and then backs out based on a "gut feeling" with no explanation. After texting multiple times, they promised a specific service day but failed to show up or call. Because of this, I terminated my contract and hired someone else. In Spring 2025, the owner, Dallas, reached out and asked for another opportunity, promising better reliability and consistent communication. I decided to give them a second chance. Unfortunately, the exact same issues have resurfaced. As of today, September 30, they have not serviced my property since August 20, despite recently asking for an increase in their per-service rate. I have sent multiple text messages requesting regular mowing, a lower cut, and trimming for two bushes. While I received several promises via text that they would come out, they have repeatedly failed to show up. I am highly disappointed by the lack of professionalism, broken promises, and poor communication. I cannot recommend Bladerunner.

Before any work was done, Duke told me heavy cutting wasn't necessary, that light pruning would likely do, and that they'd pass that along to Asplundh. Lane from Asplundh left me a voicemail. I returned his call the same day and left a message. No one called back. Weeks later a crew arrived unannounced and cut the tree far more aggressively than Duke said the job required. I understand utility contractors have clearance rights. That's not the issue. The issue is that they reached out, got a response, and then ignored it. One phone call would have let a homeowner understand what was coming and why. Instead they treated a mature tree on private property as an obstacle to hack through as fast as possible, with no regard for the owner or for what the utility itself said was needed. Having the legal right to do something is not the same as doing it well. When the company that hired you has already said the work isn't necessary and you do it anyway, that says everything. If Asplundh is scheduled near your property, don't wait for them to follow up. They won't.
