I had actually stumbled upon this restaurant on my way back to the hotel, and the pretty storefront lured me in. After suggesting it to my family, we decided to try it out, and Zelai blew our expectations out of the water!
Their menu has some of the most interesting dishes I've seen, and they really seem to experiment with all sorts of food combinations. One of the most surprising was the seasonal salad with mandarin sorbet, I didn't eat it myself but the rest of my family liked it so much they ordered a second. I had the confit cheeks which were nice and tender, and my mom had the cuttlefish brioche which looked amazing. We ended with dessert, and ordered 3 for the table to satisfy our sweet tooths. The coffee cake was delicious, along with the lemon pie!
All in all, it was a great experience, and if I'm ever back in Sevilla I'll definitely be back! read more
